2.6lbs loss for me this week. Very pleased with that, although I know some of it will just be water since last week was a TOTM. However this now gets me to 0.2lbs lower than my previous lowest weight, so its only forwards from here. Have my MRI on my knee on Friday, hopefully that'll show me what needs fixing and they can get on and do it!
I'll see you there! Ive got an MRI on friday too, how funny is that! Im dreading mine, it was cancelled from last friday when i was happy to get it over with and now i gotta wait for it come round again0 -

5lb gain please Fred.
Sadly will be away from home for Thursday and Friday so will be eating out again .... I've got a packed lucnh for tomorrow so reasonably healthy but then it will be downhil all the way ...... but it will be fun.
0.5 lb gain for every meal granny, that isnt that bad? ha. Ten meals is an achievement, no wonder youve been awol!0 -
Ive been eating awfully bad. Im having chocolate daily, without fail. Wish i could get to grip on my eating. On the positive side of things im taking evening primose oil (the embarassment of where i wondered if i ate or chew the tablet before i saw it was actually oil ha) and that i think is helping my pmt, which i seem to have had all month and a bit more so far
But im learning when im going to fly and im able to get matt in to do things to avoid it!
I went to my local garden centre and i came back feeling really inspired to grow my own veg this year. All i need is a garden... but it really got me excited. All those years i would moan about my parents gardening and here i am being all excited about having one! It might get me eating more veg and potatoes (not chips) if i grow them myself.
Best go, laptop about to die!0 -
Hi all!
Congratulations on all the losses peeps!
This is my first weigh in since the New Year and the healthy eating and exercise has been sporadic at best (and non-existent for the majority of the time). Anyhoo... 4lb gain for me :eek:
Going to get back on track now... keep it going everyone! :A

Hezza Sorry about your job. That's rubbish. Have some (((((Hugs)))))
Looks like there's gonna be a lot of us playing with the trains this week (that IS what you meant by "back on track" wasnt it Heatherberry)
I'm off to bed - I've spent all night making a baby card for a guy I work with (pics on my blog if you're interested) - I've discovered if I keep making things I don't eat as much rubbish after my dinner as I'm too busy concentrating to think of food.
That reminds me - has anyone heard from Nykmedia? I've not noticed her about for a while.0 -
This'll be the first time on this thread but as I am on a diet (enforced at the start but now more into it) I thought I would join in the err "Fun". I started creeping my up steadily upwards, heading towards 20 stone and if I hadnt had the wife go on at me I am sure that I would be there now.
Six weeks ago, I was dragged, kicking n screaming to the first "weigh in" having done ww and sw before with limited success I knew what was going on etc etc. Well this place is called welsh weigh and is basically cal counting and reduced portions.
To cut the six weeks down, I have so far lost 23 lbs and that is with a bad week where I put on a lb. Today was weigh in day (1st after the putting on a lb) and I lost 5 lbs today! :j:j
To those of you who dont like exercise, I dont either and have to be dragged to the gym - needless to say I dont go often (twice in the last two weeks but I do work shifts including nights). I have found though that you do lose more weight having been at the gym!!!
Am now much happier in myself and I would recommend to anyone trying to lose weight to drink loads of water (quacks say you should alot anyway) - you do tend to pee alot at first but then your body settles down and you can tell that you aint dehydrated by the colour lol!
Anyway enough of me rabbiting, and good luck to everyone!0 -
Hi Potatoblight, does your 23lb include the 5 for this week? I've assumed it doesn't - if it does let me know and I'll correct it for the next chart next week.
Here's this weeks chart:
Congrats to our SoTW Stebiz.
There have been some great losses from our new people - well done. Big congrats to everyone who's lost or STS this week with so many distractions.
To anyone who's gained weight don't worry next week is a fresh week, you can't change the past - but you can change the future.
Good luck to everyone. :j
