Hello Fredsnail - unfortunately the 23 lb loss did include the 5 lbs from this week. I am hoping to lose another 5 this coming weigh in (Wed) but am not sure whether it will happen. Due to shifts I am having to weigh in at 7 on wed rather than 11 am and I usually dont do as well - I mean I aint gonna not drink the whole day lol!
Regarding YANKS Biggest Loser, I hope that Mike does not win. This is primarily to my Brit sense of fair play and the double crossing that Ron did a few episodes back. TBH I would hav voted for Ron to stay in as he wouldnt have had a chance against the girls. Why should Ron's family benefit from US$250K when he is so two faced.
Roll on Friday night when the winner is revealed - I was talking to wifey the other day and we couldnt decide which training would be best - Jillians scares the hell out of me - but Bob would be good for the emotional side. The last drawn out show is rather boring though dont you agree?
Does anyone have any advice for those who work nights, I am finding that I need to graze to help through the night and am getting sick of carrots???
Cheers

He is not two faced, he made the promise he would not write the name down and he honoured it, he is a family man who has pushed all the way for his son to shine and so it should be , he knows that he caused the weight gain and was not a role model for his kids, look at the other son he has to see and now he wants to make amends for all the pain he has caused his family. He walked a marathon with one good leg can you do that? Not me, he is a man to be admired for his determination and stamina and his honour. It is called Americas biggest looser not the brits biggest looser.0

LOL, PepPop! (I haven't figured out how to quote on these forums yet). I hadn't realised I'd said that, but yes I'll join the others on the train tracks...! Well done Stebiz on being SOTW!I love the Biggest Loser...those transformations are incredible. Although I did think the first show of the finale last night was a bit drawn out: an hour-long show and only 4 people got weighed in?! Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the contestants have got on and see who wins. heatherberry x0

I completely disagree with what you said about him being honourable - yes he did keep with his commitment of not writing the name down - but in his conversation with Mike, (behind closed doors and whispering!!!!) Ron virtually guaranteed that Mike would right the name down. That is tantamount to back stabbing in my book.....
I know that it is Americas Biggest Loser not Brits - I never said that it was "Brits Biggest loser". I hope that Tara wins to be honest and keep up her winning streak!0 -

What annoyed me about that was that when Alison asked him if he knew who Mike was gonna vote for he said "NO" even though he told Mike to do it. It was the lying I couldn't stomach.
I did my usual and tried to show someone I work with the pics of them when they started and googled it (BE WARNED DO NOT DO THIS) cos I know who wins. At least it's only one day before the final not like the last time - I found out Ali won about 2 weeks into that series  (Must not google the biggest looser). I subscribe to Gillian's web site and get daily emails - I try to glance at them quickly because she gives updates on the new USA series so I already know things I shouldn't.0 -

When you want to quote use the QUOTE button at the post you want - instead of clicking REPLY. That should work (you can also click on Multi-quote but I find that confusing)0 -

Aussies biggest loser starts next week - think that this will be a must!!! Will be interesting to see how the diff trainers behave!0 -
I've already got my Sky+ set to record the series
. I think the problem is I spend so much time watching these programs when I should be getting off by butt and doing it.:rotfl:

My vote is for Tara to win the Biggest Loser, she has been the most dedicated and genuine contestant all the way through.
I don't want Helen to win because she put herself before her daughter to stay at the ranch - what parent does that???
Sorry Victory, but I cannot stand Ron, he has come across as a nasty piece of work. The only reason he did not have to vote Kristin off was because with Mike's vote she would be voted off anyway. If that had not been the case I believe he would have gone against his word, but said that he had to do it so that 'his son' (blub blub blub) had a better chance of winning. He also lied to Bob (as well as Alison) and has been scheming and conniving (sp) all the way through. I hope he does manage to sort out Max.
I will concede that Ron exceeded all expectations to complete the marathon - I do admire him for that.
Definitely a fave programme of mine, I think it inspires some people to lose weight and others not to go back there.
