Vixarooni - any room where no one else has to be surely gives you free licence to trump freely? When do you get the results?

Dinah - didn't you have your MRI today too? How'd it go?

Hezza - nuts to them re. the job. I got so fed up of going for interviews, never to get the job, that I just gave up applying for anything. So demoralising. I got a temp job, where they would have loved to take me on, only to find out they'd offered it the day before I started to someone else, with no experience! Even the employers were a bit gutted about that, but it was too late. Is it a particular area of working you're looking at?

Well this morning I spent cleaning the inside of my greenhouse, that had got so smoked out by the paraffin heater in there, that it was literally black everywhere. Carbon deposits on all the glass, shelves, plants, the lot. By the time I'd finished doing it I looked like a chimney sweep, and had to have a shower. Unbelievable, and no idea why the heater has smoked so badly. Any paraffin heater experts out there?

This afternoon I took the youngest 2 boys to toys r us for a mooch around. We weren't buying. Then I treated them to a MacDonalds, but I can't eat that, as it makes my have an upset tummy. BF was with me, and he fancied a KFC, so I ended up being ambushed by a boneless box! Only had a cup of tea with it, 3 strips of chicken breast, & half a box of popcorn & baked beans. I can certainly taste the MSG tho', because I have a dreadful thirst now. I'll have to make sure I am extra careful with calories this w/end to compensate for the treat. Provided I keep my cals to under 1500 each day, I should keep losing.

No mega plans for the w/end, but I suspect ironing is in the mix somewhere. Deep joy!

Welcome Kompkar, and as QT said earlier, stay connected with the thread for maximum support and help. BTW, how was that bar of chocolate?

Ooh, I know what I was wondering this week, have any of you decided to give anything up for Lent? I have resolved to not have any chocolate, and so has my boyfriend (yup, he's not even opened the Old Jamaica yet). I may even ask for an easter egg this year to celebrate!

Sorry that's giving up choc and biccies not taking them up. As I start twice daily circuits from 1 Mar I think giving something up may be the best bet. Although I eat like a horse during circuit training.

Thats really sweet of you to remember!

It didn't go at all! They broke the machine over night, so they've rescheduled me for a week today. Not happy, REALLY need to be able to move a bit more now! On the plus side mum decided not to waste the day and took me wedding dress shopping, and I think I finally might have found The One. Going back for a second try on with my maid of honor this afternoon. It was a size 10/11 UK and too big in places, which I was secretly a bit chuffed with. Staggeringly it takes 6 months to arrive, and my wedding is 6 months 2 weeks away, so cutting it pretty fine!

I have had the most horrendous morning at work the supervisor and boss, going for each other , shouting in the middle of the shop, customers in, me apologizing to them, the noise, the aggresion, I don't even get that at home, it was awful, cut the atmosphere with a knife, in the end the supervisor rang head office but was unable to speak to the person she wanted to and so area manager is coming down next week to sort it out, neither of them would leave it and it went on three times over the morning, loud as you like, I went into the garage to put stuff away and hid there for a while the other person on went to make a drink, everyone is trying to drag everyone in on it, it was so awful, never experienced anything like it at work, logged it, turns out the supervisor logs it too, what a mess

jesus victory. Ever thought about moving on? I moan about my work place but really that is just a joke. Its a wonder you get any customers coming in!

Sary: I get the results in a week i think. Im really really hoping im not going to need an operation because i cant afford the time off work. Im only contracted 7.3 hours a week but work up to 20+ in overtime. If i had to be off we would be a little stuck!

I have a saturday off :) My PMT is really bad again today. Im being really good with the evening primose thing but jeez. Im feeling better now because matt took me around the countryside and we saw the first spring lambs! A bunch of 10 laying in the sun by the hay feeder, well cute. Also saw a hare (which was MASSIVE) ive never seen one running round the road before but i thought it was a dog at first. Also saw a pheasent and some midget cows. Great morning out.
  • victory - god that's awful and in front of customers too.....I take it this is the same boss and superviser who have mucked you about and been so condescending to you in the past? and what do you mean by "logged it"? sounds to me like something's gonna have to give soon.
