Its 8 minute of abdominal exercises, as you will probably be a beginner to abdominal exercise you can go at your own pace, but the programme is designed to work all the abdominal muscles, so if done regularly you will soon see resultsTurn £100.00 into £1000.00

Hi everyone,
Not sure if I am in the right place here but has anyone tried The Harcombe Diet ? Ive got the books but have not heard from anyone who has tried it.
Many thanks.
Hi Van - yes I've been on this since the end of September and - Eric - its not faddy at all, it's very sensible and does require some discipline like all weight-reducing diets. Neither is it a starvation diet since you can eat loads, enough to make you full, so long as you stick to the rules. The hardest part is the first 5 days "detox" which didn't make me ill (like some people claim) it was just boring, but I lost 5lbs over the 5 days so it was worth it for a very short time to kick start the whole thing off. The basic premis is (a) you cut out all processed food and (b) you dont eat carbs and fats in the same meal. Very very easy to follow. Last night for example I had a big roast lamb dinner with home made onion gravy and the only thing missing was the roast tatties!
I lost just over a stone in 10 weeks which I was happy with since that is a very sensible and sustainable weight loss. I took a holiday over xmas and gained five pounds, 4 of which have come back off again in the last month or so since I started following the rules properly again. Having tried RC, WW, SW and just about everything else in the past, this is the only diet that has worked for me that has not resulted in being totally obsessed with food and what I'm "allowed" - calories, points, fat grams, syns or whatever.
Well that's how it is for me, Van - you could do a lot worse that at least try it.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

the main thing is if it works for you go for it (well apart from bloody unhealthy and dangerous diets like atkins and cambridge)
dieting is 90% frame of mind (you have to be happy in yourself (pointless even starting if you are unhappy imo) and want to do it) and 10% finding a system that works for you and one that you can stick to long term
I do mix fat and carbs and I loose weight also0 -
Hiya everyone
I had a lovely day yesturday had lots of treats and still came under my daily calorie allowence so I am over the moon
Went for a long walk on the beach and burned off more calories that more than compensated for my 2 glasses of champagne ( my first alcohol of 2010!) I am very pleased with myself for my planning :T Will just have to see what the scales say on wednesday.

Hola
Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines day yesterday and you weren't tempted to eat too many goodies. It was our wedding anniversary too - yes we were young and romantic once and thought it would be good to get married on Valentines! 32 years later and I would advise anyone thinking about doing the same, not to do it, as it's just like having your birthday on Christmas day - you share your celebrations with everyone else.
We had a quiet night in and I cooked a nice meal for us both, only slightly naughty, but very nice.
On Saturday we went out to celebrate Chinese New Year at a Chinese restaurant. We had the set menu, which was very tasty, and hopefully didn't go overboard. We both went to the gym during the day and burnt off some calories, and we're going again later today.
Have a good week, catch you again on Wednesday for the weigh in result.
LLStart BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
sorry to be absent over the weekend - felt lousy. Annoyingly enough I think the main casue was the meds In have to take but felt 90 with sludge brain to match. Perkier today though so hopefully that little episode is over.
Feeling lousy meant eating went to pot so I am tryng to get back to straight and narrow.
Vix - making matt cupcakes sounds sooo romantic.
dmv - it is impossble to get anything done when the builders are in.
Some lovely spring weather in about a months time would be grand.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
I started beginning of the year - at 17st 4lbs now 16st 6lbs - seems to have stopped there - gave up red meat, beer and stopped eating carbs in evening - make my own sandwiches at lunch - ham cheese and mustard on baguette maybe soup from the can as well,
havent really exercised yet tho - walk to work to and from work everyday - 15min each way.
I may be avoiding the obvious do some exercise - but not real fan of gyms - feel self conscious running in public.
should mention looking for advice and also BMI is 31 - i am 6ft and a wee bit and 290 -
Hi Tedster! Congrats on your results so far! If you want to up the exercise how about simply increasing the walking? Could you take a longer way round to your work and back, and make it 30-40 mins each way instead of 15?
The first 10-15 minutes of each session will really only be enough to get you warmed up, longer than that is when the fitness and fat burn benefits really start to kick in!
BB - sorry to hear you weren't feeling well but glad you're better today.0
