I have seen that binge eaters can have up to 40lbs (at super super morbildy obese) of poo in there system
 That sounds awful, but to be honest I don't care what it was:D. I feel great today. I think I have been a bit on the low side with calorie intake though, that is why I stepped it up a bit yesterday. For a 20 stone guy to be on 1500 cals or less seemed a bit low.

Most people tend to have a massive weight loss, especially if they are a few stone overweight.
Carry on eating healthy, however don't expect to lose this every week, aim for a more healthy loss of 2lb-3lb
Keep it up, Keep motivated :j
I agree entirely about the 2lb-3lb a week loss. Much better for you.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Thanks for your responses everyone!
I ended upliving on black coffee before because indeed I found that the more I restricted, the more I needed to restrict in order to lose weight. Originally my target was 9 stone 1 but by time I got to 9 stone 3 I had nothing left to cut out. My diet was so unhealthy and I couldn't keep it up, I felt dizzy and weak half the time.
I desperately dont want to fall into the same trap again but still being this fat after 5 months is really depressing, I feel ugly and hideous and extremely ashamed of how I look
as for how long I stick on something, celebrity slim was about a week. I was hungry all the times and the shakes were manky!
I'm scared of carbs. Can you really eat them and lose weight? Seems hard to believe!!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
Just a bit of an update. Since my 9am weigh in on Friday - 4 days - I have lost 10 lbs. So I now weigh 19 stone 4lbs. I guess a lot of this must have been water?? - because I've heard that is what you tend to lose at the beginning. Friday I had about 1200 kcals, Saturday 1500kcals, Sunday 1500kcals, Monday 2000 kcals.
Just wanted to say a massive well done!! Keep up the good work!!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -

This is one of those things where everyone is different - my diet is high in carbs and always has been. I'm quite active and I feel I need them, plus I like them!
I lost three stone in 8 months during 2007 and I've been maintaining a size 8 ever since, so carbs work fine for me!
I know others on here have had completely different experiences, and they prefer to limit their carbs - it's something you can experiment with until you find out what suits you best, not just while losing weight but in the years that follow too.

LisaBerry i managed to lose 2 stone whilst still eating carbs. I followed WW principles initially but generally cut down portion sizes, ate next to no red meat or cheese and cut out all hi fat hi cal snacks (or at least tried to). I also upped my exercise. Have dropped off a little with the exercise over the past few months but as spring approaches it will start again and my healthy BMI weight will be reached.0
