You might be able to cope with it now victory, but what about in a few years time? Im only now after 4 years getting so annoyed with debenhams i could punch every bloody customer who moaned about sloggis today grrrrrrrrrrrr. I think you should walk in and say, "my name is victory and i am worth more than the way you are treating me, now dont give me false promises of more hours unless its set in stone that they are available."

BB: nice to hear bails is doing ok!

Hardly ever get chance to contribute to any thread but have been following your troubles at work Victory and really feel for you. Keep your chin up and I hope it all works out in the end for you. Think you have the patience of a saint :A

3lb loss this week which has surprised me. I was on a course for 2 days last week and I also thought it would be rude to decline the 3 course lunches we were offered both days......:o
  • alliwant & chorler - 3lbs:T:T.
Well done for keeping up the good work all i want.

Just put a couple of large bits of furntiture on ebay so very pleased with myself for getting that done. Just want them gone now, lol.

Delicious dinner of c00p meatballs and home made tom sauce with aded toasted pine nuts and garlic and something flavoured liguine. Yum. Nice small portion still filled me up.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

pep no nicola came back to the biggest looser having lost 87lb on her own at home, they chose to bring her back and when she had been there a week she had gained 5lb:eek: she fell below the yellow line and was eliminated, Ron stayed:D It amazes me how handsome his son his Mike now he has lost 114lb he looks like a youthful happy teenager should look:D
I've always loved 'The Biggest Loser', but now I'm living a couchy lifestyle the 1pm show is my barometer of the day! Plus it encourages me to eat a healthy lunch. I love how they all have such a can-do attitude. It kills me watching them do all these crazy workouts though - I never thought I'd miss exercise so much. I meant to ask my doctor yesterday if trying swimming would be a good or stupid idea, but I forgot.

Thanks for the kind words, I was actually thinking of the stomach reduction / bypass thingy, people with those who are super super morbidly obese seam to drop 7-10lbs a week. I don't really want to go down that route as fatality rate for the opp is very high ....

Aye and its a permenant lifelong change, the only thing that stops these people dieting normally is willpower - if it CAN come off by eating less with the bypass then it never was some metabolic or thyroid problem, and they could have done it on their own. Be the strong one, don't endanger yourself unnessisarily - and don't forget they don't always work - I refer here back to Ron on the Biggest loser season 7 US, who had a stomach bypass yet still managed to get to 430lbs (over 30 stone) so it certainly isn't a guaranteed solution.

Had a bad day yesterday. I know I've lost the first stone, and I only want to loose another stone and a half, I'm in the healthy bmi range, I need more motivation to do it sometimes. Meals were fine, but I hit the mini eggs I got for my birthday on Monday and set 125g of them back. Then when I came home from sewing class I decided I didn't want another day with the other packet tempting me (was on codeine at the time, not known to promote good decision making!) since they're my 'once I pop you can't stop' food, so I ate the 100g other packet too! And I didn't even enjoy them, I just wanted them gone! So now my treat foods are all gone, I've had a WW bagel and low fat spread for breakfast, have a WW meal for lunch or might just have a homemade banana milkshake, so I should be getting back on track.
