Hezza : as has been said brilliant news there.

Well food sort of went downhill since the wednesday weigh in, ended up having takeaway pizza. However in my defence I am really ill plus TOTM, have a cold, sore throat, headache, shaking and even woke up on the kitchen floor having collapsed at one point. However, onwards and upwards. Went food shopping yesterday and yes bought some frozen chicken breast burgers and waffles but did look at the calories and fat and think they were actually ok in moderation and way im feeling lately cant be bothered to cook half the time just for myself so they are a better stand in than a takeaway menu! However also got some frozen parsnips, corn, carrot and swede mashed together (which can be microwaved) and a bag of frozen roasting veg. I know i can, and did in the past, do it myself cheaper, but right now frozen veg is better than nothing.

Food today has been weetabix, ww bread toasted and tonight will be sausages, roasted veg and corn on the cob. Bought lots of fruit too so prob have a pear and kiwi later on.

Right back to essay, was doing so well and now its all slipped lol.

I never realised until today after having been there for 5 months that the lady I work with should have come in at 2.30 I come in at 2 and spend 30 mins alone and then her shift starts at 2.30 all this time she has come in early for me because she felt that it was wrong to leave me on my own and felt that even though she was never going to be paid for it she wanted to be alongside me so that she had peace of mind and I would not worry, so humbled by such a beautiful person such a lovely thing to do for me, all free, I am buying her some chocs a thank you card and some flowers for sat when I next see her she is just a perfect human being

What a relief - at least one person at your work is a nice person. I was thinking that it was unrelieved awfulness. And how nice of you to show your appreciation of her kindness.

She is a nice lady, too nice! I try and get to work bang on the dot, after about 3 and a half years of doing 25 mins each day unpaid without me knowing!

Monthly weigh-in (not for chart pls): 0.1kg gain which the analyser says is water. No change to body fat or muscle %. No change to waist measurement.

Although I've been on a 12.5% calorie deficit plan most of the month, I did have a few slightly 'relaxed' days ;) so this is probably a fair result though it does prove how little leeway I have!

From Monday I'll be changing to a 10% deficit plan, aiming for a 0.5kg body fat loss to bring me back to the middle of my maintain range (BMI 20.5).

Have a great weekend everyone :D
  • Hezza - that is really good news. I hope you enjoy the m&s food :T

Victory - you speak so many truths and you deal so well with your work situation I think you are a credit to the human race. Hope you feel better after your hypo and work isn't too bad today.

Eric - hope you feel better after your walk. How do you find your actifry? I keep looking at those but wonder if it will become another of those usless kitchen gadgets??

Mazza - good luck with the date tonight and I hope you enjoy your pamper session ;)

Sarymclary - did you fit into what you wanted to wear? I am sure your friend will be thankful for what a help you gave in a situation like that I knowI would be

I'm trying to think of something nice to have for my dinner tonight and keep coming up blank. Alot of my old favourites I don't want to have due to getting back into old habbits. I might go and see what the local butcher has at lunchtime.

nothing like a bit of retail theorapy to clear the head, well that and some bacon sanis :)

I love my actifry very much, used it probably 150+, give me a griddle pan and an actifry and Im a happy bunny :) Leg of lamb tonight with actifry chips /drool

I posted on a thread here recently, the chips are vastly better than the oven muck you can get and probably 70% of award winning chip shop chips. Best of all thin chips have no more oil than fat chips :) I use light olive oil and Maris piper spudys.

    Hi everyone!

Am feeling quite positive so far today, of course that will probably change when i try to finish this essay lol. Feel like im in "that headspace" to tackle weight loss again. Isn't it funny, ive gone basically 2 months without even really trying properly (and as a result havent lost!) and beating myself up cuz i cant seem to motivate myself, yet last week it just sorta clicked and, bar a slip day, has stayed like it! Definitely feeling less blated on my stomach which is where i feel weight gain first, followed closely by my thighs.

Woke up late after working hard last night so had a banana before taking the dog for a brisk walk and have just had hot weetabix for lunch with a sprinkling of sweetener, yum yum! Another one of those things i go ages thinking "urgh, dont want that" yet when i have it its really quite nice so get back into the habit of it. Dinner will be not quite so healthy, left over sausages and prob pasta with some sweetcorn thrown in. Did do well to avoid using the sausages for a lunch time sarnie tho, so kept cals down there.

Really hoping for another loss next week!

    Keep it up everyone!

I just realised it was my weigh in day last week and I havent been. I started a new job so couldnt make my next appointment until I knew my hours. I will have to get in next week sometime and see the damage lol. Im not sure if I have lost any but hopefully I havent gained any with the amount of walking Im now doing!
