Payplan will be very very used to stress, upset and sometimes irrational people. They know that the banks try to break people and that most people start to crack under the pressure. I got to the stage where I would actualy shake I was that stressed. One of the creditors actualy phoned the hospital to check my OH was in there as I must be lying so I didn't have to pay them.
I got angry, learnt what they could and couldn't do then I told them to go jump. I can remember not knowing if my OH was going to live or die and DCA's think they can scare me. OH is still very ill but where there is life their is hope.
One day in court is a lot better than months of stress

Can I ask how you racked up this debt? I'm only curious so as your taking proper steps not to increase your debt! :)

Payplan definately won't judge you mate. They talk to hundreds of people in exactly the same position as you every week. They are there to help you. :D

Today honestly will be the start of a new life for you. You only have to ask everyone how they felt after posting to this site. It's not always gonna be easy but there is always someone hear to rant at or to lend a shoulder to cry on! :D

    NEVER

I thought the very same when I contacted CCCS, it took alot to pick up the phone!
A 'very large' glass of wine was at my side, I felt the lowest of my life.:o :o:o

    BUT :A :A :A

It was not like that, had a 1 hour telephone call, everything was explained, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR, you dont even have your own house make the call and years to come you wonder why you didnt do it a long time ago

Good Luck and welcome onboard!;) ;)

    Thanks,

I live in central London so that is sort of average rent for that area, if I was to move out then it would be a LOT more believe me.

My parents know I owe some money but not this sort of scale.

£500 + food still seems like a hell of a lot if you're living with your parents...

you might not be up to it at the moment, but have the banks/card companies been charging you loads of fees? if so, i suggest when you're ready you take a look at http://www.consumeractiongroup.com

    good luck.

Yes and I would rather feel sick, shake, hyperventilate etc on the phone than carry on the way you have been. You can only gain by contacting them, you've nothing to lose.. From what I've gathered and from reading posts here they're a good bunch and very non-judgemental.

    Please phone!!!

    Health first, debts later.

Well done for taking the first step. Now, take a deep breath and break down all your spending and see what we can do to help.

As someone suggested, look at bankruptcy. You don't own a property, don't have a family to support etc. Might get you out of a very difficult situation.

Hang in there. Plenty of people to help you here. Life is a gift and it's far more precious than any debts.

    Hugs to you.
