Which Breadmaker to get?

Thanks for all the input, guess I will go for the Panasonic. Was glad to see someone say it was easy to clean, too! We had a breadmaker a few years back, and that was one of the reasons it stayed in the cupboard - it was horrid to clean.
Thanks again . . . off to have a better look around the site!0 -
hi i,m thinking of investing in a breadmaker.i,v been looking in argos and they have a cookworks for 26.99.does anyone know if these are any good or should i go for a dearer one.i could afford the panasonic one but would rather buy one cheaper.any advice would be gratefully appreiciated.0

The ones that are regarded as the best are the Panasonic breadmakers, they are quite expensive but worth it for the results you can get from them.
We got one after reading a few reviews, the majority opinion seems to be that the cheaper models produce pretty poor and erratic results.
If you can afford it you will not regret it - they produce pretty much perfect results every time.Signature No Longer acceptable -

I got Cookworks one in Argos sale last year for £14.99, as I really wasn't sure if I would use one. It's been brilliant, and I use it virtually every day. Maybe next time ,I'll go for a Panasonic, but I've been pleased with the Cookworks one so far.0

The two mentioned most often by users are the Morphy Richards fastbake and the Panasonic 252 (or 253).
You can read up on both here:-
