Oh dear SOBA, my girlfriend had her 3 year old Panny dance onto the floor through the night earlier in the year so I'm looking for another one now as well. Are we the only two to have this problem?
Nope, my BM also toook a dive off the unit. Fortunately it only smashed the plug, which I replaced with one off an old toaster and when I plucked up courage to try it it worked.
Its actually the second time it has done this so now to be safe I use it on the floor under the table, to stop me tripping over it.
I would be lost without it .Slimming World at target0 -
I just got the Panasonic 2501 and I'm so pleased with it! I was trying to find a secondhand 257 on eBay but they all went for more than I wanted to pay for a used one. Lidl had their own brand in a few weeks ago but by the time I got there they'd sold out, arghh!
My dad offered to buy one for my birthday and while I was trying to find the cheapest one for him I noticed that Amazon were selling the new 2501 for the same price as the old 257! I have only used my mums Lidl one before so to me this new Panasonic one is absolutely amazing! I just used the Lidl breadmix for my first loaf and couldn't believe how well it turned out.
I'm baking Saffron cake right now as I type...I had a bit of a blonde moment and forgot to put the kneading blade in though! I realised 5 mins into the program so hopefully it'll turn out ok. I felt such a fool
Does anyone know what the "rest" cycle on these machines is for? The basic white loaf program has nearly an hours "rest" before kneading? I can't see the point if the ingredients aren't even mixed together yet!0
