Afternoon,
Have a good workout Kavics, rather you than me again! Im so lazy:o
Well i decided against the TV after all because i dont have a digital ariel to pick up freeview, so good job i didnt buy it as i then would of had to buy an ariel too. Dad wants an ariel to get a clearer picture on his tv as when a motorbike drives by or it gets really winding the picture jumps! So i will wait until he buys one for the loft!:D
Im feeling ok so far today, no clots as of yet which im glad about. Im going back to work 2moz im hoping it wont be too busy as the info given after my op said no exercise for 2 weeks after and my job is like a workout!:rotfl:Im hoping i wont have many rooms to do so wont have to keep bending over.:o
I must must must go out today and get OH some presents. Im 99% sure his bought or trying to buy me a n97 mini for christmas. Its the only thing he knows i want, but i didnt ask him for one as its too expenisve. But ive just got a feeling its what his bought me. Which means i need to get my bum into gear and buy him a good present!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
aww bless him.
Glad you're sounding positive, hopefully you'll move through next year brighter. We all deserve a good year next year.0 -
Aww sounds like a nice present from your OH. Have you any ideas what you are going to get him?0

I havent a clue! I always say lets only spend £50 max on each other but he always splashes out and buys something so expsenive. He knows my wage is half his a month though so doesnt expect it back but i still would like to splash the cash on him for once.
I wanted to buy him some i-tunes cards for his i-phone as his always buying apps. Morrisons are doing 2 £15 for £20 but havent got any in stock where i live, tesco arent doing the deal where i am and boots are only doing 500 points back when you buy £30.
I wanted to get him a PS3 game resident evil 5 everywhere is out of stock apart from places that are selling it at £35! Or have a 2 weeks wait before dispatch.
I just bought a pressies for my grandad though at Boots and i saw my managers mum who also works at the hotel. She was the one i went straight to after my scan and balled my eyes out to, she said she has told everyone i miscarried like i asked her too and not to question me as soon as i get back or esle i will just break down again.
Im awful if someone tells me there so sorry and wants to give me a hug, i have to say no or esle i wont stop crying as i start feeling sorry for myself!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

I know exactly what you mean by crying and feeling sorry for yourself but I am also a believer of tears, they somehow always heal the pain quicker. I hate emotions though from other people, enough to deal with mine, LOL:) Hope that work is not too bad today though, just pls take it easy. And well done on getting the game on Amazon, I used up a £5 voucher yesterday as well, just realized that they do 29 p songs every Friday so downloaded a couple.0

Evening,
Well first day back at work was ok, i had told my managers mum to tell everyone what had happened last week and when i come back not to ask too many questions about it. Ive been there for 5 years and know everyone quiet well.
.......well i didnt expect everyone to ignore me, i know they probably dont know what to say, but hello would of been a start! The chef was so sweet though, i walked into the kitchen to make my lunch and said hi to the chefs. 3 mins later one of the chefs who ive known for years now come over to me and kissed me on the cheek but didnt say anything....he didnt have to i knew what it was for. I quickly finished making my lunch went upstairs and had a lil cry.:o
Work was really quite so didnt have to do much which was good. Hopefully it will stay quiet until after christmas now.
I didnt get that PS3 game in the end as i didnt realise that it wasnt amazon selling it it was a trader, so didnt bother incase it didnt turn up by chirstmas.
Instead i just bought him a 4x4 silverstone off roading experience. He always bangs on about doing it one day so thought id treat him.:D
Im just waiting for the bloke to come and pick up the hire car that i never even used! They said 3pm-7pm suppose they will have me waiting all evening. I had the paperwork come through they had esistmated i needed the car for 22 days which would cost a total of £1182!!!!:eek::eek: I used had it for 4 days but i suppose they will say it was 7 days as they will include the weekend even though i called them on friday to take it back. The bloke who hit me insurance should be paying the bill for the hire car with his insurance....he better be!!!
I just completed the survey for one fo the things i tested and got a lovely 500 points so ordered another £5 amazonMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
That i s abit rude of people to ignore but I guess is a bit difficult for people if they don't know what to say. They could said hi though, you are right! That is nice of the chef though, he sounds lovely.
The present for your OH sounds great and I am sure he will love it!
I have been waiting two weeks to find out if my car is a write off or not is such a pain. I can still drive it though so is OK.0 -
yeah the chef was so nice bless him, it was nice to know he cared.
I know the handyman will be lovely to me aswell if his been told, as he was looking after me at work making sure i werent lifting things, bought me ginger biscuits incase i felt sick! bless him.
God thats a long time to keep you hanging about your car, i suppose mine was done quick as he said it was 100% his fault as i was parked not in the car. And was only minor damage. Its good it still driveable though.
The bloke was late for picking up my hire car, when he came i got chatting to him for half an hour! lol, about cars and people we both know. He said he will look me up on facebook! hahahaMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Afternoon, I'm catching up-I'm busier than I thought I was
. Not good. Glad you had an OK day and chef really sounds nice (handyman too).
OH had once an experience at Silverstone, went there with his mate last September and loved every minute of it. They got a certificate at the end and he insisted to put it on the fireplace, had to stay there for about a month before he agreed to put it away. It's so easy to please men, just get them something about cars or games, and they'll love it. Oh still hasn't done any Xmas shopping-he knows that what I want though:rolleyes: but doubt he'll do anything about it.
Have you heard about BA strike? So glad we're staying here for Xmas-will miss our family but at least won't stress about getting home and back. Take it easy today as well, and pls don't lift anything.0
