Welcome to my new diary!:j:j

Here's a link to my old diary http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1154947

Where i managed to save £4k then blow it all on a new car!:o

Anyway, Im starting a new shiney diary as im now 7 weeks pregnant!!! Still in my early days i know but its never too early to start saving and preparing for our little one to arrive! EDIT: MY PREGNANCY ENDED AT 11WEEKS 6DAYS AFTER A MISSED MISCARRIAGE ON 3RD DEC 09

My OH (25) and i (26) have been together 7 years on December the 6th, but we dont live together yet, we are both still at our parents:o.Our plan is to save, save, save then move out into a rented place after christmas, when all the january sales are on so we can pick up some great bargins for moving out and for baby.

Im doing every survey that comes into my inbox, and reviews on Dooyoo to earn as many vouchers as i can. Cashback clicks, freebies, entering competitions. Which is all going into my baby fund and furniture fund which is in my sig.
When the time comes to buy baby items i will be doing it all the MSE way, buying 2nd hand play mats etc from Ebay, freecycle, using vouchers and the sales. As i know my brother spent a fortune on all new baby items that hardly got used at all.

I work 25 hours per week but normally 30 with overtime and my OH works 40 plus overtime most weekends. Neither of us are in debt any longer but having a diary really keeps me on track and keeps me finding extra ways of making money.

Anyway, Thats my quick background story. Now lets get moneymaking!:D

I came home to £16.50 in Tesco clubcard vouchers today! :) I will add them to my furniture fund i think.

I also came home to my credit card bill which has the car's service on plus petrol £703! I put it on the credit card so i could earn Asda points from the big spend! So i will pay that off in full later tonight, At the moment my Asda bill says i have £13.50 asda points so far, the vouchers come very November so should get them through soon! :)

Ive joined Bingo Britain and deposited £5 and played it through, i didnt win anything today but i will now get £5 per day bonus money to play with everyday for the next 30 days so im hoping to win something!

Thanks for joining my new diary Hayley and Mrs_R:D

Well i think most of the Hotel at work know im pregnant now! As soon as i walked into work the receptionist said when are you due? Then the waitress asked me so are you happy your having a baby? Neither said congratulations! The waitress said she heard my boss telling one of the joint managers. So i think he has told of of the family who are part managers, none of them have said anything to me though, they probably dont want to say anything until i tell them myself. But im not saying anything to anyone esle until my first scan.

I think the managers are probably panicing that now they will have to employ more staff and stop expecting us to cover 4 peoples jobs and weekends.

Anyway, Ive just done a Dooyoo review and will try and sqeeze out another before i jump in bed tonight. I played through my £5 bingo britain but didnt win anything again. Better luck tommorow!

Im working on sunday so ive only got tommorow to relax and try and catch up on some sleep and rest.

Im off to do some surveys and CB clicks

  • Thanks for letting us know Maria, i will definitely avoid that one then. I must start doing the offers on quidco more, make me some money for xmas.

How's that growing bump of yours? I wouldn't be happy with the manager i told started telling people, i would want to be the one telling people so then they'd see how happy i am to be pregant, and show its not an accident.

I dont mind that my manager has told the other part manager people in the family. But i did want to tell the other workers myself but now this waitress knows the whole hotel will know by monday! Anyone that knows me there who i get on well with will know the pregnancy was planned as ive been telling them for years. I dont care what the others think as its not there business anyway.

I won £5 on bingobritain this morning so won back the money i deposited at least, but now i suppose i need to make another deposit to withdraw the winnings as its only £5 and no doubt they have a min withdrawl.

    Plan for this morning is:

    Book MOT
    Do CB clicks
    Do scratchcards
    Dooyoo review and rating
    Surveys

Weather is awful here today! Foggy and rainy. OH is at work until lunchtime today so i probably wont see him until this evening for a few hours to watch good old Harry hills burp and X factor! Then i will need an early night as have work tomorrow.
