Oh dear, i have just come back from Asda with a baby play gym!! I couldnt resist it had a whoops sticker on it £15 down to £7.50 and it was so sweet, i also picked up my free newborn kit. The doctor gave me the voucher on my first appointment and its been burning a hole in my purse since.
I know people say you shouldnt buy until your first scan is done, i will not buy anything esle now until after my scan....i want to buy most in the christmas sales anyway.
My brother said i can have all there baby bits as they dont want anymore children. But they sold alot of bits at a boot sale they had in the summer. So im not sure what they have left to pass on it me, but anything will be a big help.
I also bought 2 reduced throws £12 down to £6 each, i thought they would come in handy to chuck over our sofa once moved out to keep it clean from baby sick and OH mess! lol
So spent £14.50 as i had £5 worth of luncheon vouchers that i used up.
I done a few surveys including a nice £4 paypal one and entered about 20 comps today so far.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Im sooooooo angry today!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
This morning a lorry reversed into my car, cracking and scuffing my front bumper. I saw him do it, i was luckly in the outside rooms in the hotel, i said to my mate his going to hit my car she said dont be silly (as i always worry someone is going to hit my car in that tiny car park) Next thing bang, and my alarm is going off. I soon ran over to him and got his details, he deilvers booze to the hotel every week so i will be giving him to evil eye from now on!! Looks like i will need a whole new front bumper.
Just phoned my insurance who took the details and im just waiting to hear back from them about when my car will be taken away to be looked at and when i get my courtesy car.
Out of all the crappy cars in the car park he had to hit mine!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I've just found your new diary... Sorry about your car, but at least you saw it happen so you can get it fixed. I still have a huge dent in my doors from some ******* reversing into mine two years ago
. You're doing well with your savings though

How much hassle are insurance companies! Ive had so many phone calls from different people telling me what there going to be doing, all were fine apart from the courtesy car place who really confused me i dont know when i will be getting the car or how tbh!
but i did get a phone call from the bodyshop who looked at the damage today and took pictures. He gave the bumper and wipe and the damage doesnt look too bad seeing it was a lorry that hit it! Just a deep scrape and small crack really. Shouldnt take them too long to fix up. He said he will send off the details to my insurance company and someone will get back to me.
A friend of mine used to work at the bodyshop i was sent to and says there do top work so im happy its going there.
Anyway, this morning the receptionist came upto me and said if i find out im having a little girl then i can have all of her daughters daughters baby bits as she doesnt want any more children. Fantastic!!! Until my friend work mate said no dont give them to her i want them.....(she isnt even pregnant and doesn t have a boyfriend even) she just wants it all to keep for when she does!!!! Oh dear she does make me laugh, she can be so rude!!! We're close mates though and always boss each other about and act like sisters so i told her where to go!
So i will be sorted as my brothers baby bits is all for boys and receptionists is for girls so either way im going to get some lovely freebies!

Thats fantastic about the baby bits, except all offers, even if its stuff thats not really your taste, you can always ebay/car boot/freecycle it;) and if you say no to someone they might not offer again and you might miss out on something fab.
Sorry about your car getting hit, hopefully it won't take to long to get it fixed0 -
I am having to deal with all the car insurance hassle as well as someone drove into the side of me on a motorway sliproad last weekend. i need to prove it wa stheir fault too, so a nightmare! Getting the garage to look at it tomorrow.
That is great about the baby stuff, is really useful knowing other people who have just had kids!0 -
Ive had a very lazy weekend, yesterday OH had some work done on his car so it was a day of giving lifts to him and my dad who also had work done on his at a different place.
TMI coming up
Last night, i went for a wee and there was 2 splats of brownish colour discharge in the loo. Then it happened again this morning, so ive been freaking out all last night and this morning. Ive done some reading and it seems not uncommon for women around 11 to 12 weeks for this to happen as the uterus is moving upwards disturbing any old blood. So long as i dont see any red blood i shouldnt stress but i still cant help but worry.
Im trying so hard not to get stressed but im such a worry wart. My car had me so stressed last few days which probably didnt help things.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I hope that everything is OK, sounds like it is a common thing so I wouldn't worry. I have seen before that red blood is meant to be more worrying so I am sure is fine. Must not be long till your scan now?0

Thanks wendz, if its still happening tomorrow i think i will call the doctor of midwife for some reassurance everything is still OK.
A week to wait for my scan, next monday. Ive been waiting to buy a doppler to see if i can hear a heartbeat, but there not always accurate and if i didnt find a heart beat i would only worry myself more so OH said no dont buy one.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35!
