Bit disappointed this morning, supposed to be 10cm snow in London but can't see any from my window. I guess I need to go to work... Hayley,do you really like Oxford street at Xmas time? I can't bear it, it's soooo overcrowded, everyone is pushing everyone. I much prefer Covent Garden
.
Had a 17 min wait at post office yest, and need to go again this morning, last minute ebay items are selling, yeah! I can't believe it's nearly Xmas, am so looking forward to not getting up in the morning till late, I'm so tired. Gym is closed on the 25th so can't go there, but will go on 26th I guess. I hate getting fat at Xmas time, I usually eat a lot so always make sure I go to the gym as well so no one can comment on me in January.

We have got a little bit of snow in my part of london, will probably melt though.
Ahh I don't wory about eating too much, haven't been very good for ages so can't get much worse haha. Although I am planning on doing something about it Jan (as usual).0 -
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
It started snowing last night about 8pm an by the morning there was around 4 inchs of snow settled! So my lovely friend picked gave me a lift to work and by dad picked me up from work when i finished, although i had to leave half an hour early as dad finished his job early. but better to lose 30 mins pay than get my car hit again!
Its my OH's christmas party today and tonight there all going bowling so i get to stay in my nice snug bed in the warm all evening with a ncie cuppa and good tv hopefully! Ahhh bliss the weekend is here!
My OH's 4x4 experience came today, so i now have all his presents and i just finished wrapping them. I have a couple more presents to wrap but will save that until later.
I cant believe you guys in london havent got any/not much snow! London is only a 30 min drive away from here and its thick with it! Although most of the main roads are pretty clear now as its been sunny all day.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Are you sure i can't persuade you Maria? I really don't know when i'm going to do my shopping now as here in Kent we are probably the worst hit area and we have about 10 inches of snow. So many people are trying to drive, why do they do it?
The 4x4 experience sounds like an awesome pressie, your OH will love it. I"ve not started my OH's chrimbo shopping yet, i better get my skates on, not long left now.
Enjoy your nice warm cosy evening Maria, sounds like a perfect evening! All warm and cosy while looking out on the snow. The very best things in life ... are free!

All of a sudden im feeling really !!!!!! and down again, i think its because the people at work are feeling a bit braver and starting to ask me questions about what happened and wanting to know whether im going to try again soon. And because i dont really know what our plans are now im feeling blah.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
That is a bit soon to be asking stuff like that. When my really close friend had it happen we never mentioned it to her and we didn't hear anything till she was pregnant again. If she had wanted to talk about it we would have been happy but I don't think it helps asking stuff like that!
It has all been gritted round here so no snow left!0 -
Yeah, it's a bit soon. They assume you're ok to talk about it as you're saying you're fine but it's not like that. When I MC, I told my sister only so it was great not having anyone asking questions, although she was pregnant at that time so I had to make the effort to talk about babies and staff for her sake. It's not easy, even though mine wasn't planned and did not know I was pregnant, but can't imagine people asking about it (it's different online-I don't need to speak loudly and I can ignore people if I want to).
Just make the most of it tonight, have a nice hot chocolat, watch a cheesy movie and eat lots of rubbish:). It will help. Or read a book, gosh I'm lost in time when reading.
Yeah,no snow I'm afraid. I cycled to work this morning and saw cars with snow on them, was thinking where they came from so early. I'm in zone 2, close to central-there was no sign of snow anywhere. I'm hoping tonight might fall some more so OH won't be able to go to work tmrw:).
Xmas shopping finished here as well, just need to pick up 2 bottles of wine on Monday which I ordered a month ago. Haven't wrapped up anything yet though, need to put up Xmas tree, bake cakes, etc. Lots to do...0 -
Yeah i agree i thought its a bit soon for the to be asking me that! The other breakfast chef...(different to the other one that gave me a kiss the other day). Came upto me and said i cant speak to you like nothing has happened, i just wanted to say how sorry i am. Which is fine, i dont mind people telling me there sorry for my lose, its only natural people want to let me know there sorry and thinking of me. :A
I was feeling really down so i went burned some music for my car and got an early night last night. Im feeling better this morning so far apart from the fact i havent heard from my OH since about 5pm yesterday. It was his christmas party all day, then i had a text at 5pm saying he was going bowling but only saying until 8pm and he will call me when he gets in. He didnt call so 9pm i text him asking is he home yet, but no reply. He probably got drunk and stayed on to go to a bar or something. he could of text me though as he lives out in the sticks and with the snow on the roads frezzing over at night i was a bit worried. Suppose i wont hear from him until lunch time when he eventually wakes up!
I think we might set off the lanterns tonight over the fields opposite mine which are full of snow and look so pretty!
Not much esle planned, i really really need a haircut but the hairdressers i go is on town and i know i wont be able to find a car park space and it will be packed out with people. Its a walk in hairdreser so would have to sit and wait ages until my turn. I did buy some hair dye though as ive got major roots, i will dye it sometime this weekend.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
