Whoaa, well done on winning stuff! I got 12 books delievered yesterday, won them on who knows which competition, it had the complete twilight saga (4 books!). I'm well chaffed but got 2 copies, I wonder why you could win 2 copies of the same books? So one copy went on ebay, I wonder if it will sell. Got 4 kids books as well, I'll keep them for birthdays for next year.
How many competitons do you do a day? I only enrol 5 (or 0), as I seem to spend too much time on the internet:)
Here is the info about SSP:
    "
The standard rate for SSP is £79.15 a week.
Your employer will work out a daily rate of SSP if necessary by dividing the weekly rate by the number of days you’d normally work in that week. For working out SSP the week begins with a Sunday."

Sorry kavics i forgot to tell you about shopandscan.....

They send you a little keyring scanner and everytime you buy your shopping you scan all your items barcodes with this scanner then transmit them to the company everyweek. I also send free texts every week with barcodes from food i buy out. They give you points which you exchange for vouchers.

Bad news is that its invite only :( Sometimes they send out referral links to people but they havent sent any to me yet so i cant refer anyone.

Although there another company doing the same sort of thing...heres the link:

Last night i was getting pains in my tummy, this morning i woke up to full blown cramping! So so painful, ive taken a couple of pain killers and the pain isnt so bad now, but ouchy it hurts to push down to wee! :(

Im worrying i might have an infection, ive been following the guidelines after an the op with only washing with cidal soap etc etc. I will see how the pain is tomorrow.

I was thinking of having a walk upto the shops today which are about a 10 min walk away, but now im not so sure. I have a ebay parcel to send, i dont really want to take the hire car as the car park at the shops is so tight i might hit it when reversing!:rotfl:I might have to send my mum to the shops for me. Plus i have £22 in coins to pay into the bank...i dont think my mum would be too happy carrying them all the way up the road for me though!

My car should be done by tomorrow! They better do a good job on it esle i wouldnt be signing for it! I cant wait to see if they have given me a new splitter.....The splitter was already cracked when i bought the car, then i caught it on a kerb and it snapped and its hanging down. The damage the lorry done was right next to the splitter on the bumper so im hoping they will think the lorry done it and replace it for me. As the splitter is £170 from renault!!! Thats why i had just left it hanging!

Morning or afternoon, hope the cramps are gone by now, and you feel much better. I remember after my mc it was just really awful, I felt I was going to die-hot water bottle and lots of Feminax helped, plus hot bath. Also I found that walking eased the pain too, at least I wasn't concentrating on it.
Hope your car'll be fixed-i'm really anti driving at the moment, just can't see the point in London. Last time I drove was 7 years ago . I cycle though, every day :rotfl:.Oh wants to get a car but we don't even have off street parking so there is no point, family house first, than we can get the car (although I'm hoping for baby as a second...).

Shop and scan sounds it takes up your time-does it worth it? I just can't imagine scanning everything I buy, must take ages. I'm thinking about abandoning my bp challenge, it's just so slow and doesn't worth-does anyone else think the same?

    Afternoon kavics,

Ive been asleep on and off for the past few hours, i say on and off becuase the darn house phone keeps ringing...3 tims now and everytime its been one of those stupid machine people talking! grrr, were not in the phone book but still they get our number! Ive been going down to answer it incase it was my doctor as im still waiting for the surgery to call back about my sick note for work.

Ive just logged on to my emails to see ive been paid sick pay from my work today £50! I normally get paid weekly and clock in we get new cards on a thursday and they take them again on a wednesday. I think ive just been paid for the 3 days ive had off so far mon-wed this week. And that the first two days i had when i found out about the MMC they havent counted as sick. I was wondering if they would or not.

It doesnt take long scanning all the bits of shopping before putting it away, but it does only work out to £1 a week for doing it! But the texting thing i can earn a max of £5 a week, although i rarely do earn that much as forget to text anything ive bought on the go.

I dont think id bother with a car if i lived in London either! espically if like you say there is no off street parking which would probably mean paying for parking outside your own home with a permit!

Aww, family house sounds lovely. :)

Hopefully soon me and OH can start talking about what our new plan will be for the future.

Glad you are feeling a bit better.

That is good about the testing things, I should have something on the way. Anything free is a good thing to me.

I have a car in London but we are lucky to live in an area where you don't need a permit or anything. Is useful for driving down to Southampton as I am down there a lot seeing family and friends. Cars are so expensive though!

    Morning,

My problem with testing things is i forget to log back on and complete the survey! Then they dont send me anything esle.

Tesco's panel gave up on me after i didnt complete the survey on bin bags! Im quite anoyyed as apart from the bin bags they sent out some good stuff!

I had a few tummy pains again when i woke this morning but have taken my trusty paracetamols.

The bodyshop rang at 8.30am this morning to say my car is ready to pick up! yay! Ive got a friend taking me down there at 2.30pm as i dont want to take the hire car and leave it there as the hire place said they can take upto a week to pick it up and where ever i leave it im reasonable for any damage until they pick it up. So i think it will be safer at my house were i can keep an eye on it till they pick it up.
Pain in the bum though as that means my car will have to hang off the bottom of the drive next to the main road. So long as they pick it up before christmas!!!
