I completely fell off the wagon last month as now exOH decided to leave and I stopped counting :mad:
As I have my Christmas meats arriving the first week in December I really need to work on clearing out the freezer to make room.
Meaning my budget is going to be £150 for Nov

on a more on topic note i was catering a children event and we take home any leftovers. i have 10 portions of pumpkin soup, three salmon fillets and two portions of meatballs and sauce as well as a full kg bag of pasta all for free!! so that should help this week!0 -

G'day all,
2nd NSD in a row,Sat I only bought £1.50 grapes for Halloween cheese board and ended up bringing 2 speciality cheeses home as it was massively over catered.
Chicken cordon bleu,carrots,cabbage,peas and potatoes for dinner and tortellini with HM sauce for tomorrow.
Free Melbourne Cup lunch at work tomorrow for both me and OH and Cup party after school so that pasta may even get pushed back to Weds.
Looking at Thur for a top up shop mainly f & v.
Have yoghurt cake buns,bounty bites and hobnobs in tin with pumpkin soup in freezer.

6 cumberland sasages - 50p
250grams of mince - 50p
so will help a little. He wants me to do lots of spag bol and other things like that which he can take to work to heat in a microwave and have with some bread. All i can think of is spag bol and curry which will be ok to freeze and then take to work? any ideas would be great....
Also anyone have a nice receipy for a sauce to have with meatballs??

Well I lost track last month after a week or two visiting my fiance in Edinburgh. Will be spending quite a lot this month as I'll be stocking up on meat at Costco sometime this week but will try to keep the rest down! £175 this month pls.0
