    Budget was £130 but that was a guess. Not doing the whole December as I'll be home from uni in a couple of weeks and I don't actually need any groceries until January but I'll be back then!

    Just posting my last weeks shopping spend, as i forgot to do it until I started writing this weeks one!. Just to remind you its for 2 adults and a total of £140 for the month

    Week 3
    Aldi £13.27
    Asda £14.89
    Butchers £4.80
    Somerfield £1.20

    Total spend Week 2 £34.16

    Week 1 £28.75
    Week 2 £35.30
    Week 3 £34.16

    Amount left for the last week £41.79.
    Feeling confident I can do it!!!!!
    Also, my sister has kindly given me a slow cooker (she's upgraded to a larger one) so looking forwards to experimenting and searching on here for recipies, pork chops in as I type!!!
  • STILL haven't totalled November, but I was well under budget last time I checked. I'm sticking to £300 for December - just off to find the new thread.

    Well although I haven't been on here much to report my progress, I have stuck at it for this first month of my Grocery Challenge, and done ok I think! My budget was £80 and that was for just me.

    Wk1 - £20.02
    Wk2 - £8.59
    Wk3 - £14.98
    Wk4 - £33.01
    TOTAL £76.60

    Quite happy with that, as week four included some Baileys that I almost didn't count, and that will last me a while yet. Gonna cut my budget for December as I think I can do better, and I'll be at my parents for a fair chunk of it.
    NST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.
    NOT BUYING IT! 2015 - A Consumer Holiday.
