    1. Haircut, phew, was beginning to feel like the Dulux dog!

    2. Bought my ticket to that London to meet up with one of my BFFs for the theatre and copious amounts of rum :)

    3. Have done some exciting planning for next term and a bit of tidying up of resources (only a bit, mind!) whilst DD was out at an activity camp.

    4. Enjoying a fab book

    5. Cuddles with DD, she seems to be happier and calmer at the mo, thank goodness xxxxx

    1. We laid in a tad absolutely shattered to be fair.
    2. Went to dads and his friends to make sure all sorted while we are away, another bad day for him on the pro side he won’t notice we aren’t there, the bad the traffic was so bad it took us 2 hours there and 2 hours back.
    3. Rather than renew our breakdown cover, we went with the caravan club premium cover for both cars and extra bits and bobs and it still came in £40 pounds cheaper than our renewal quote.
    4. Paid the usual bills online
    5. I saw a dragonfly that was so big I thought it was a small vivid orange bird..

    Quick pleasures for today (Friday):

    1) A lie in!

    2) Tasty porridge, blueberries and banana for breakfast.

    3) Went to see the chickens and someone has set up a geocache at the village church.

    4) Continued tidying and cleaned the bathroom.

    5) Made 4 meals worth of tomato sauce.

    6) Made mushroom curry for my tea.

    7) Sons came home :-) Bigger son has gone very brown but a tuft of his hair has been bleached blond by the sun.

    8) Went to see the chickens with bigger son and he helped me move the pen and re-set the rat trap :-/

    9) Watched First Dates.

    10) In bed with 1hwb and about to listen to Dead Ringers.

Good morning from wintery Melbourne ! Back to jumpers and jeans and socks and ugg boots!

What can i say about the flight? Nowt much! Far too long, delayed on both but we finally got here, last flight is over 15 hours long and just goes on forever...you snooze, you eat, you watch something ,you snooze and you still have 13 hours to go...anyway , we got back to Melbourne and our friend was kindly waiting to take us home. I was sat next to a larger man ( now I am no skinny Minnie but I'm aware of the social etiquette of sitting on a plane and this means sit in your own space) he was rather too close for my comfort, he snored and he latterly had BO! Yuk.

Home and hugs from kids, hugs from dog, hugs from our internet ...it knew we were home as soon as we came through the garden gate! I think that's the one thing I struggled with this week. I am so used to Internet as a means to communication that not having it felt detached.

Home to a calendar of chemotherapy appointments , starting on Tuesday ...pretty full on. This is not as a cure but as a try to slow things down. We can visibly see tumour growing in the week we've been away which has alarmed both of us, at it's speed.

Being home. Sleeping in our bed ,on our pillows, as much as I've been grateful to have a house to stay in ourselves back in UK, my MIL's spare bed is not known for comfort. Home to my kitchen where I know where things are, home to my garden , home to my decent shower. Just home really.

I've unpacked our suitcase, first load of washing I shall chance hanging out. Have so many sweets could start a stall! Theses will be hidden!

I think we will be putting up our Christmas trees today , we are holding our M-early christmas next weekend. Friends have been sending / giving me cards and gifts , so they are up on the mantlepiece.

Right, I'm still procrastinating so shall go hang out the washing and stick another load on.

Have a good Saturday when it arrives :)

    Pleasure for yesterday,

Gardeners turned up early to finish off hedge so out by just gone 8.

A treat of breakfast in BurySt, didnt fancy cooked so went in PV and I had the biggest croissant have ever seen, impressed with the choice of preserves that went with and, personal bug bear of mine, the butter was not too cold so perfectly spreadable.

Loaded collected 5 and 10p coins in bank change machine and was 45p short of £30 squid :j

Plenty of time spent outside reading, despite threatening clouds at times no rain.

Saw equine pal, poor lad being mercilessly attacked by biting flies around his heels, slapped loads of dayglow yellow fly cream on, Mr Eliott looked most fetching :rotfl:

Something cold, bubbly and alcholic to drink.

Is I having to change my signature!

Mila. If only you knew what ...

5 Town was painted red last evening. Off me and BoPsie headed into town, on carriage of the iron horse track. Herded into inn of repute, and wobbleades were consumed. Scoff was also purchased, with delights of ham, egg and chips for BoPsie, and BoP had a Baby's Head. Peas and chips in gravy were consumed by BoP. Rubs Tum! Carriage on iron horse track carted us both home. Halfway down street, Raffles guided us to the door of BoP's Pad.

4 Late breakfast this day of rest. Snorker, best back, mushrooms, toms, grilled. Buttered toast with marmite topped with poached egg. Fried tatties. Fresh waters mixed with concentrate of oranges was drunk. Copious amount of tea was also drunk. Hot buttered toast with new jar of seeded raspberry jam was also had.

3 Problem with treader of BoPsie. Again tyre was flat. Possible slow puncture, so as it has about eight repairs, it has been sent to Sky treader place. New inner tube fitted. Well it is about ten years old. Also sorted her brakes out, so she can stop! Not that I had to!

2 Nites Chicky Sticken is prepped with fresh ginger, chilli, garem masala, coriander and garlic. Will be eaten with some wobbleades later.

Well clearly you don't agree then that I am right!
