Will try and post later - v.v.v.difficile atm and ditto much in dec'd life to sort, 2 clearances [not just that one, but bunny neighbour has also moved, leaving outdoors to clear.]
Have also discovered further note left by dec'd, with implications....
Keys didn't arrive to me as courier-paid, eventually tracked and received, but 1st arrangement for uplift to charity therefore lost.

Not in from Spits until just before 4 bells y'day. Felt near to completely crocked, could barely walk in from car. Today should already have done 1st of 2 dump runs, having told neighbour to load both my trailers with his waste, if he wanted.

Heartening to see Mrs Thrush is sitting in trance in last year's re-furbished kitchen window nest in clematis. Saw her so clearly as I came in near dawn yesterday. Am now on auto-apology as I pass to and fro.

Beauitful weekends that celebrate Life and reinstatement to all.

  • And now another tasty reason to burn the toast! BoPsie is not inn the parish.

5 Usual Saturday fest with snorkers, best back, mushrooms, toms, grilled tom with pepper and thyme, poached egg and toast. Washed down with tea. Rubs Tum.

4 Just back from trouser shopping at the mat type shop. Nice fit. First new suit for about thirty years!

3 Last evening we had a BoPsie film. One with Mr Lancaster, and Mr Douglas. Think she was a tad smitten with him. I would had preferred a ...

2 Night the sticky chickens has already been done. Wobbleade has been sourced. Game on, or film!

    Good food feeds good hearts.
That includes crumbles and bacon butties, or in BoPshire, Bacon and Egg Banjos!

    Pleasures for today:

    1) A lie in!

    2) Lunch at McDs then bought timber for the new hen pen.

    3) Brother used rotavator (spelling?) on the allotment to save me hours of digging. Just over the field is (was...) a massive barn of hay bales. It is now a twisted wreck as it has been on fire all day. :-/ The robin on the allotment looked pleased at the turned over earth. A squirrel there too today.

    4) Bigger son worked on the new hen pen.

    5) Did Earth Hour with candles, kettle boiled on stove and our made up game from years ago "footshrimps".
  • Been feeling really down in the dumps today. I have been off work all week due to this cold lurgy and DH has been stroppy like a child I could murder him.

    1) to get out the house went for a walk to the garden centre

    2) had long cuddles with the cat

    3) DH is still alive so I'm not in prison

Good evening from Sunday .just had lasagne for dinner which was lovely.
One more shift to go, it's been a weird stretch of shifts.

Friday : roadworks outside and cafe across the road reopened , we were dreadfully quiet, closed early .

Saturday : Grand Prix and flower / garden show on in city , we were dreadfully quiet, closed early.

Sunday : coffee machine decided to break down, people need their coffee here, 'twas a disaster , had to send so many disappointed people away. Chappy came out and fixed it busy-ish and then So, so quiet, closed even earlier! It's always a treat being home before my shift should finish.

So after months of sweltering I've finally got to wear a jumper! Been very chilly past 2 mornings and evenings yay!

Met a lovely choccy lab called Charlie today.

Went into supermarket for fruit and milk yesterday $20 off so only $5 spend. Thank you.

Had a nice walk with my dog boy this afternoon.

My new work shoes are very comfy. I am surprised snd delighted.

My car has started and stayed working driving to and from work.

Have a good Palm Sunday .

Action Stations. PM2DD Tin Pot final at Wembley awaits!

5 Games. Five wins. And nobody gave us a chance. Always good to trounce the frogs as well! Grand Slam!

4 Just bin to the emporium of w8rz. Walked out only paying £24.99 for the week and a bits shop. Better inn pocket of BoP than some ...

3 Tea tonight will be Sticky Chicken curry, with sticky chicken marinade made by BoPsie to an ancient recipe passed down the generations since time in memorial! BoPsie was so delicate in the way she stirred the chicken wings into the marinade. Unlike your BoP, who just tosses the lot, and rumbles it!

2 Day BoP made another fresh, hand stirred ginger cake, using fresh root ginger, grated and fresh cut. Rubs Tum. Goes well with a cup of tea!

And the wait is over, now for the drag!

    Edit
Just been to T as we are out of paper. While there, plenty of shopping sheep were inn buying nothing. One word of caution.
Delights of Angel priced at 40p each, 3 for £1
    Ignore this deal
At w8rz this morning, Delights of Angel is 36p, buy 2 get 1 free
Every little hurts, Avoid emporium T

    1. Finally recovering from filthy cold/throat/chest infection. First day have felt human again
    2. Got towels out on the line first thing - now inside and folded
    3. Two loads of clothes done
    4. Bed stripped and changed now that I'm no longer hacking and sneezing on them all night
    5. Gorgeous sunshine and warm enough for shirtsleeves (minor miracle in March in Scotland) so sat outside for an hour with a book - wonderful
    6. Last of the homemade lentil soup for lunch
    Looking ahead
  • 1) Excellent concert last night, Elgar wrote some amazing stuff!

    2) Visit yesterday from DD2 and Zebra which included much fun in the playground, a lovely lunch out during which he was a very well behaved boy and introducing him to a big orchestral and choral sound as we let him experience the beginning of the afternoon rehearsal in the Cathedral, he loved it!

    3) We have a M&S £10 meal deal for supper tonight, no cooking involved, lazy but nice.

    4) Got caught up on all of DDs ironing this morning while she was put doing D of E things at school.

    5) GRAND SLAM!!!!!YAYYYYYY!
