1) Home again after my weekend away, it's lovely to visit but also lovely to come home again!
2) Got a seat all the way back on the train, can't be bad and we even had a trolley so I got a cup of tea, super!
3) Just been to the polytunnel and harvested the last of the overwintered carrot crop and also planted out the first batch of peas in there, must be spring.
4) Supper out at the pub tonight, he's booked a table, I feel spoiled!
5) Off to Sweden with DD1 for a week on Sunday next, beginning to be very excited about that.0 -
Good morning, it's early Tuesday and the birds aren't even up yet ...but I am because it's my day of , of course!
My Monday pleasures:
Work was okay. My 4 days have been okay, I was feeling a bit blah about going back in on Friday but they've been fine. Worked on an extra hour.
I'm now officially in charge for next few weeks.....any problems see me! Boss is away overseas.
Home , on a very crowded train , only got a seat for last 2 stops. Renewed library books and then a quick in and out and .....
Autumn concert in school courtyard. Lovely, so many talented kids, both singing and playing instruments, we went from classical to heavy rock to Gilbert and Sullivan, back to heavy rock ! A very dedicated staff team too.
Got a bit chilly once the sun had gone down behind the school building. Glad I had a pashmina in my bag....and I kindly let DD2 wear my spare jumper! Love that school!
Home and baked potato for a late tea. Watched Night Manager with OH....anyone else watching it?
Weather seems to be more in keeping with autumn this week ...still low 20's but cool and crisp in the morning and evening . Someone had their fire on yesterday which was a nice smell as I was walking home and trees are starting to change colour. The ability to wear a jumper or cardigan pleases me so much after sweltering for past 5 months......I'm looking forward to the next stage ....needing to wear socks!
Enjoy the rest of your Monday

3. Chat with neighbour who I've hardly seen over the winter. Will now see more of her. She lives 3 doors up and we normally chat in the garden.
4. DS1 seems to be enjoying his new job but only a week in. It is more suited to him. His last job gave him lovely present when he left and he h ad only been there about 8 months.
5. Sorted out my hall cupboard and it now looks tidy and all the rubbish has been thrown and some things to ebay/ charity shop.0 -

My Tuesday pleasures
Chat with friend....but only after I'd tidied kitchen....not instead of!
Lovely dog walk this morning with OH and Haggis of course. Tad chilly to start off with but bright .
Then out and about with OH a for coffee.
Then home to pick up a doggy then we went gallivanting through the countryside. Had to do an emergency stop when a mob of kangaroos bounded out of the bush and bounced in front, to the side and behind of us. Wow moment but a bit of a surprise!
Went to Healsville. Parked where we normally do but walked out a different direction and stopped at a bakery cafe for a coffee break , Haggis had a paddle in the river behind cafe and then we wandered back to the car. So many ibis .
Then we stopped off at a chocolaterie and had an ice cream . Sat outside and admired the view, it's stunning.
I don't need tea as I've eaten enough , I dozed off on sofa and was wakened by a dog telling me he hadn't eaten enough and I'd missed his tea time! Sorry Haggis ...now fed!
I phoned council to cancel a furniture uplift I'd booked for sofas as they were taken ( in the middle of the night) ....as I'd waited so long to speak to a human , I chanced asking if they could tell me when our citizenship ceremony is ...hold the line please! Just a few weeks time. Apappaenly we will get a letter tomorrow! Funny that!
Have a lovely Tuesday ...hospital day tomorrow .0 -
Charlie and me should had refuelled the Kuwaiti hawk on 2nd August 1990. And instead of going back to Kuwait City, they could had taken a Wahhabi out!

1) Successful visit to a town pharmacy and I managed to get He Who Knows prescription filled in Tesco, well done that pharmacist, so helpful and I shall most definitely use them in the future and not the village pharmacy who refused to dispense the prescription because the drugs (not fancy ones either) were more than they were prepared to pay!
2) Lovely walk with Sue and Charlie retriever, blue sky, sunshine, many spring blooms and buzzards, fab!
3) Found the light scarf I've been looking for to take on my trip to Sweden next week, it will go with both my new jumpers and hopefully smarten me up a bit, heaven knows I need help with that.
4) Popped in to see a neighbour who has now the light at the end of the tunnel with a tenant who was given notice 2 1/2 years ago and should be gone from the property in 8 weeks time. I have the bunting ready to adorn the front hedge on departure day. So much stress and distress caused by this couple and their antics, it will be a good day when it's finally over and my lovely neighbour can actually get closure, it's been a nightmare.
5) Gardens here are full of spring flowers now, daffs, crocuses, narcissus, hyacinths, primroses, magnolias and various blossom on the trees too along with some superb camellias, it's making a super show in the sunshine, lovely!0 -

3. I’ve lost a bit of weight again according to my clothes.
4. Food planned for tonight a chop with any leftover veg, will have to shop tomorrow.:o
5. I sent a bouquet of flowers to a family member who really needs them right now, not like me at all I don’t normally splash but this was exceptional.0 -
Evening all
Tuesday pleasures:
1 - Leisurely start with bagel, avocado and egg.
2 - Met and spent the day with a friend I haven't seen for months. Was so lovely to catch up properly instead of just over the phone.
3 - We went to a trampoline centre and had an absolute blast jump all over the place and diving into the massive air pillow.
4 - Freebie tote bag received.
5 - Weighed in for the first time in ages. I've put on 2lbs but I'm more than happy with that as I thought it'd be more like 7lbs.0
