2) Chat with both girls and the Zebra (as much as you can when he just says Whale Oma!) yesterday and much giggling was done.
3) We're going to clean the outside of the polytunnel today which might seem a very strange thing to get excited about but that always signals the start of the sowing seeds season and is the promise of spring to come.
4) Took baby Henry's card and present round to my neighbour and saw loads of pictures, he's so cute, wonderful things mobile phones with cameras!
5) Fed all the plants in pots on the patio yesterday and the different types of mint I have are all beginning to sprout round the edges of the pots, lots of lovely mint tea this summer, Mmmmmmmm!0 -

A few over the weekend
1. We had a wonderful day out in Brighton Friday which has made it seem like a lovely long weekend. While perusing one of the flea market shops, I was contemplating out loud of “I wonder if it’s real” and it got answered by a chap saying “or is it a fantasy” to which we then did “caught in a landslide” before bursting out laughing.:rotfl: DH and I acquired some ferret bits for a princely sum of £7 and we stopped off at a place on the way down for breakfast for 2 at a princely sum of £8 total. It was a wonderful day.:money:
2. Watching Flash ahhhh when we got in.:p
3. Spent Saturday doing little we did have plans that have slipped to Tuesday.
4. The animals helped with all of the housework, there’s nothing quite like changing a king size duvet with a lot of “help” and laughter. :rotfl:
5. Sitting watching Dumbo, numerous loads of washing coordinating in the background.
6. Animal maintenance, ears done, claws trimmed and flea bathed, it’s no mean feat but all done, and the cause of many loads of washing bedding and towels.0 -
Some pleasures for the weekend include,
Started a new book, well actually it was one of Captain Scarlet's stocking pressies and have been waiting for him to finish it, Robin Hobb, Fool's Assasin.
Talking of the C word, had a sort out in big crockery cupboard and found some berry spiced tea lights, smell lovely. Think was inspired by KK choc discovery :T
Feeling bit better so have been"pottering" around the house and making some plans for what veggies, herbs etc want to plant this year, making lists really, do love a list.
Much to the Captain's disgust have also been talking about what rooms in the cottage could do with decorating. There will be some intense negotiations, the domestic cricket season starts in April.
PK Tilly spaniel also had some beauy maintenance today, trimmed her dew claws and de-fluffed her feet, if I don't she tends to have the foot hair of a fancy chicken :rotfl:0
