  • Decent head, of steam yesterday. Filmed by BoPsie
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=l1G3uXZ1grA

5 Went out and got a face full mock cinders, muck and steam! Also was with BoPsie, who filmed the train!

4 Had curry out. Not as good as one of BoP's! Should really shame and name!

3 Camera club this eve. One of the protagonists asked if I was doing the projector, but said something else. So a photo of BoP aged 18 is going to be ... No worries BoPettes, I could post here as wellM

2 Day for tea, we had Dog Pot. Same as Lancashire Hot Pot, but done with snorkers! And a Tom sauce. Enugu left for Saturday. So it us now resting on the stove!

Stressed. Is only a Sundae backwards? Desserts!

Thank you mhags, the prodigal has returned :). Daughters - the older one was cleaning and even redecorating her room (beautiful murals covering the wall) by the age of 14, but as for the younger one - it wasn't safe to approach her pit unless clad in full nuclear kit :).

BoP that was a lovely clip, thank you it brought back many memories of taking the train to work every day. The Flying Scotsman will be nearby on its final run next Thurs 25th but I doubt I'll see it, very few vantage points and they'll no doubt be filled with normal height people ;)

DD thank you, I did laugh to think of you unwrapping your 'vegetarian' lunch :D

    1. Slept in until 8.30am, thank you pets
    2. Postie brought me a letter about interest on a savings account. Not a huge amount but enough to make me smile.
    3. A beautiful morning so spent an hour tidying up the garden
    4. Hypervibe class, getting better and stronger every session.
    5. A tray of sushi ys to 45p, with a baby spinach salad made a tasty tea

    Sweet dreams :)

    1) Slept till late morning so thankful I'm in a job and position where that's possible
    2) bright and sunny walk onto main campus for senate committee meeting. We're saving the pennies across the uni so wise dd, knowing there'd be no tea and coffee, took a flask
    3) then to office. Although late breakfast / lunch at home got the munchies 5ish. Determined for a nsd and remembered tin of tuna and balsamic vinegar in filing cabinet. Don't ask!
    4) after long Skype with PhD student and another supervisor now in oz lift home from colleague
    5) fire on, death in paradise, crisps and cuddles from dogs. Perfect x

  • 1. I watched Paul O’Grady at Battersea and choked up on the cruelty, I would love another dog, when the time’s right in the future.
    2. Lunch was using whatever I had mashed up heated up in a pan, it worked out at egg, leftover sausage and tomato which wasn’t bad, tonight is using up any sad left veg in a sausage casserole and I think I may have reached zero for fresh things now so we will pop to lidl for their new weeks reductions, and a trip to my favourite local fruit and veg stall at the weekend.
    3. DH and I looking forward to a day out tomorrow, made plans to stop off at a little but well known roadside place that serves amazing bacon sandwiches.
    4. We just had to cave to a Lidl shop, bagels, croissants and chicken pieces all with 30% off and a bag of prawns, noticing price creep even in there now.

Sparrer - we're hoping to see the Flying Scotsman at the SVR later this year. :-) Like the Youtube video, BoP.

    Pleasures for today:

    1) A good sleep.

    2) Went swimming with sons and my brother. Another km swum, though not very fast today.

    3) Went into town to get bigger son some bigger school shoes. Any earth tremors felt at 3pm were due to the movement of the enormous shoes from the stock room to bigger son's feet! He has decided he no longer likes the sturdy ones with "pork pie" stitching so has some man's shoes that look like he is on his way out to a dance!

    4) Made chicken fajitas for tea.

    5) Organised our trip out tomorrow. Autism West Midlands if their sensory room is free. Then the Botanical Gardens (haven't been since a school trip when I was 5 or 6). Into the Bull Ring for some quick piano playing outside Selfridges. All by train.

    6) Went to parents' later so sons could play table ice hockey with my brother. Dad and I watched a Monty Don programme.

    7) In bed with 2 hwb now.

DD ha, tin of tuna in your filing cabinet, that is being well prepped.
Frith actually laughed out loud at the earth tremors caused by eldest's shoe buying :rotfl:

    Some pleasures for yesterday include,

It was a sunny day on the whole, ventured outside in wellies to top up bird feeders and table. Watched one very particular greenfinch who was busily sorting through for his fav bits and consequently a lot was ending up in the grass, much to the delight of the pheasant waiting his turn.

Watched Happy Valley from the other night, good acting and storyline, thoroughly enjoyed.

My little spaniel, Tilly-Lou, sneaking upstairs to see me and discovered the pleasures of a sheepskin rug, hard to prise her off.

Cooked and ate Bolognese, couldn't taste a thing:o

Vicks Vaporrub, might be old fashioned but boy does it help.

    Marning

Today i put fingers to keyboard - time to start eating the elephant.

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Coffee with bezzie and a chat.
    2. Nice walk in the sun to hers and back - only 20 mins total though so not to be counted in my minimum (30 mins three times a week - generally i do a lot more. i walked 6 miles the day before)
    3. More than halfway through second to last lot of marking
    4. washing on the line, comes in virtually dry
    5. Freezer curry for tea - we are onto some dreggy freezer bits now. Though it still seems full :/

    Have a great day all
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • Freezer Curry for tea. Be a bit cold that!
Shoes. BoP can have at least 5 pints of wobbleade while BoPsie shops for shoes!
Clip was filmed by BoPsie, here is what BoP took!

    Good head of Steam.

5 Morning started with marmite soldiers, real butter and dippy eggs. All nice and running. Served with apple juice, from presse apples, and tea. Rubs Tum. Now enjoying a decent tart, with some jam.

4 Got another collective bonus at the camera club yesterday. Only two pictures shown as tooo many entries. Now about 5 points behind for my cup. Must do better. Well, think I will enter the head of steam.

3 Had a really nice cut snorker Dog Pot yesterday, and the remnants are maturing on the stove. Got that Mhags!, food matures on the stove, to make room in freezer for ice cream! Will be well furred by Saturday evening! More on DoG Pot next week!

2 Night should be a Rita event. Black and white, with wobbleades and snuggles ups.

You don't share your life with a cat. It shares it love with you!
