    Evening all!

Well my day started in a rather crappy manner and I wasn't in a very good mood and I felt very stressy and was muttering away to myself in a grizzly manner all morning at work. I'd asked to finish early this week....yep....but just not today as boss was off.....so that annoyed me, nothing had been ordered in in my days off , so that annoyed me , had to catch up with absolutely everything and that annoyed me and I find when I'm off , little changes are made and that annoyed me and I think I was just in a bit of a grump really! I'd just cleaned down the kitchen before making some bsicuits....had added icing sugar to butter....turned the mixer on slow and went into store cupboard to get flour and came back to discover the kitchen was white! Icing sugar was everywhere, and I mean everywhere ....so that annoyed me as I had breakfast orders coming in!

Anyway, finally got out, got a train and had to face the wrong way and that annoyed me....just missed a tram and that annoyed me. DD1 was coming to see her dad for the first time, she was nearly there when I left station at work...got up to ward and no sign of daughter! So that annoyed me and worried me...she'd been wandering round the huge hospital for 20 minutes! Talked her through on the phone where to go and she found us.....so then I told them all about my stressy day and that was all the stress gone!

OH continues to improve. Another drain out and started on clear fluids, wounds redressed for the first time and they are looking good. So heading in the right direction. Just so, so tired and sore and the analgesia makes him sleepy too. Had to go for some scans so DD went home and me and my book went with him.

I had a totally unappetising baked potato ....don't need to choose that option again. DD1 sent me a photo of the most ginormous display of flowers from business associates of OHs . Need to find somewhere to display them .....where the dog can't eat them..'cause he would!

Back up to ward for last hour or so and chatted with our "neighbours " across the room. It's a little old lady from China, over on holiday with her son , she has no English but a lovely smile. So we wave hello and cheerio to each other. She's had a similar operation to OHs surgery 3 years ago. I have a chat with her son every day. It's been good to see her improve too.

My friend picked me up which was fantastic . Nice chat on way home.

    Dog walk with DD1

So my day improved after I was with OH.
    Same again tomorrow :)

Dear mhags, similar to judi, I am not posting atm, but come to check for OH and family and Haggis[vet? eye?]news.........then came this extraordinary email with its wonderful news, so really thought I must share:

#From: Jonathan Edwards (j.edwards196@hotmail.com) Microsoft SmartScreen classified this message as junk[how could they?]. Sent: 18 May 2015 10:52:51 To:&

Hello &, Hope you are doing good.[writes a supposedly literate lawyer] I am Jonathan Edwards, a practicing[spelling] Lawyer in England.[well well, y'doan say][ My specialties[means 'specialisms'] are in the field of;[interesting semi-colon usage] business disputes and litigation, Wills and estate disputes, inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975 applications.[& is dazzled by this surfeit of expertise] I am contacting you regarding the sum of $4,500,000 US Dollars deposited by my deceased client[despite whch, he managed] with a storage vault here in the United Kingdom. The deposit was made in the year 2007, and his unfortunate death transpired[grammar gestapo] on 8th of August, 2010. Upon receiving the news of his death, I notified the deposit firm about his demise and I launched a private search for any possible surviving relatives[oh, isn't & lucky?], to alert about:eek: the situation and file claims to release the funds to them. Till? date, my efforts proved abortive as all search[all search whats?] returned no living relatives[no other kind would suffice] and thus bringing my search to an end. According to the recent notice I received from the vault;[bogof semi-colon deal] failing to receive claims within the last three quarters of the year, the funds shall be declared unserviceable and remitted to the government reserve. After a careful evaluation and [oh, the redundant 'and']I realized it is better to claim the funds rather than allow the hard earned funds of my late client to be shared amongst the vault's executive and a government official. However, being the lawyer to the deceased, I am not in a position to file a claim to the deposited funds of my client hence, I need your assistance[oh, anything but anything & can do to assist] to help me in receiving the funds as the beneficiary on his testate[sounds a bit GUM to &]. I shall provide the required papers to this effect and file the claim for the release of the deposited funds to you[So kind]. Please let's share this blessings[more than one? Oh, quelle joie!] together, as good fortune has placed you as a foreigner into the [U.S.] centerof relevance in my life.[& means so much to dear Jonathan, being not the worthy Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European champion and gold medallist] I have also decided upon conclusion, we can disburse the funds in the following ratio;[tsk:] 40% for me and 40% for you as well[excess of redundancy, as is that], while the balance of 20% will be channeled to various charitable causes via some reputable NGOs.Kindly affirm your interest and willingness to help me in this great endeavour and please furnish me with your phone/fax numbers. Looking forward to your reply. Respectfully,[yes, exactly how &'s solicitors close thier correspondence.....not] Jonathan Edwards[not only a generous international lawyer, but also the worthy Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European champion and gold medallist]

Haven't had one of these for ages. Yet another life-changing fortune for &.

    1.
Just as the black tulips finally wilt, I spot life in one lemon-scented geranium pot. Definite sproutings:D! Had cut them further and further down over a month ago - dead wood - 'knowing' the cold had done for them this time. Maybe not? Maybe why & held off buying replacements at May Day Fair? Not really, that was logistics and long walk back, already lugging too many No More Books. 2 more No More Plants and backpack would have been etc.etc........

    2. Still enjoying emporium rtc steak and veggies. Last lot tonight. I do pour a bit of good organic wine, but taste for it un-present atm. Toute seule does not go with vin. Vin deglazes pan juices or goes back in bouteille.

    3. Neighbour[life-long horse-work] will receive BB car this week. As he looked slightly better on Sun, & took big breath and bossed: 'If you can make your way to &obile ...something to show you.' Down to polo and plenty horsey, not far at all. Really good. He's pleased, knows it's near enough, had no idea that another lump of &y lost Fen even existed.

    4. Uplift of remarkable historic pics and more associated doings, all ongoing.
Good stuff, easing, helping & and others atm.

    5. Aunt's b'day parcel belatedly arrived in NZ. Was tracking, saw big Customs hold-ups, but all eventually well and untouched. Local postie wasn't allowed down much dug up road chez eux. Aunt exceeding pleased.:D

Good birthdays noted and happy days to the next ones, mcc and vl.

Toulon squeezed a very likely VITAL defensive point in their loss to Clermont on Sunday. Les Rouges et Noirs, almost a scratch 1st time together XV, full of juniors and newbies, put up a fantastic match, had a try disallowed.
Vicky, & is 1 match nearer to shouting for Tigs in the Final. I really feel you'll get there.
Frith - sounds like some of smaller son's Primary school 'handlers' have clones in your workplace. Please stay on and let others like smaller son benefit from YOU....although Vicky's friend feels like you and is going.

    1) hotel is lovely though the tea is 'funny' (oh how very english of me!) so first mse os is for the tea bags in my packing and the supermarket down the road where i bought milk, now in my fridge along with the overpriced little bottles of wine and cola
    2) going to ikea yesterday and buying a huge tea cup (the cups in the hotel are miniscule!)
    3) seeing my friend jj again (of course he should be #1 but the tea thing took over!)
    4) deep bubbly baths - i've had one both mornings cos i haven't met up with jj till 10. bliss
    5) lovely food - jj is strictly and evangelically vegeterian so i go veggie when with him. then i remember how much i like veggie food so no hardship at all. though did have smoked trout for breakfast cos i don't see him for brekkie.
off to the ballet tonight. then he's invited me to meet some of his students and staff tomorrow. then back home thursday.

    2) The nice dentist found nothing wrong on my check up today.

    3) The hound and I didn't get too wet on our walk this afternoon but the heavens opened just after we'd got back indoors.

    4) M&S had a pair of size 12 slippers in the style He Who Knows likes.

    5) The pea pods in the polytunnel are fat enough for me to think there might be a picking soon!!!

If anything else goes wrong today I will screem and screem and scween until I'm sick

    car wouldn't start
had to pay for taxi to hospital and back (£15 :( )
had to wait 45 minutes after appointment time as they were behind
.... just to be told that they don't yet have the results from my test on Friday and to come back next week (despite being re-assured on Friday that the results would be back by today)
..... on my return home I was trying to find my breakdown cover details to sort my car out and I managed to lock myself out of the house (cant open front door without a key)

    So heres some pleasures

    1. nice chatty taxi driver on way to hospital took my mind off things
    2. didn't have to have a camera up my nose
    3. lovely sunshine
    4. I had my phone in my pocket when I locked myself out
    5. friend was home so I went round there for a cuppa until DS got back & let me in

Am going to phone the breakdown in the morning and they will recover me to the dealer if they cant fix it, where I am hoping it will be covered under warranty !

  • :heartpuls and the beat goes on. Party at & Loadsa of Money! Hounds, Now I am to say I have been seen out with a couple of decent b1tc4es, and BoPsie tagged on as well!

5 Baa. Last day of relaxoBoP. Back to the gin palace the morrow, so I will be on the edge of SparraLands. Hope there be a welcome for me!

4 Paid full price again for me haircut and got decent head as well. And the usual freebie cuppa of proper tea, not that instant foam coffee. Note, foam is for the bubbles in the washing up bowl!

3 Had dog roll in town as well, and Raffles, King of Strut, waltzed into town as well. Blessed thing thinks he is a dog, follows us inn, sits and waits for an age, well the BoPsie things to do go on and on and on and on and on ad inifinitum. Eventually, exhausted, we were on the way home! And Raffles, was walking all the way back!

2 Day BoP also checked the motor of BoP over and got him washed! So nice and clean ready to drive without conviction again!

1 If you empty it. Fill it. If you open it, close it. If you lower it, raise it. If you wet it, dry it. If you made it dirty, clean it. If you used it, put it away. Most of all, if you love it, cherish it!

quick 5 before i turn in
    1) ballet was interesting - men in motion, 9 male and 1 female dancer. really enjoyed some, others were well like i say interesting...
    2) we walked back to his through the park which was good after sitting 2 hours in the theatre
    3) then he put me in a taxi (he's single, my age but gay so no chance of romance) and the taxi driver was playing some very good polish music. i asked who the band was - lots of sax
    4) decided to treat myself to room service. very nice lentil burger with onion marmalade and goats cheese
    5) and now listening to newsquiz. so handy having vpn!

Skint - hope the rest of your day went well and you didn't need to scream.

    1. Needed to buy chicken feed and it was kindly carried out to my car. Had excellent service in there and friendly staff.

    2. Long conversations with both my sisters on the phone.

    3. Planted out some courgette plants and also filled my hanging baskets. It took some time as I had to keep dodging the torrential downpours. Hopefully I'll manage some more today.

    4. DH gave me flowers which are lovely and cheer the house up.

    5. Had HM soup for lunch which was warming as I had already got wet in a downpour.

Yes I know, dd - again! It's barely enough for this, which I don't much like -

Ah well, beggars can't be choosers. Will cope if I must, but would prefer to stick with this and do a bit of système D brico, besides which, really need the templar chapel.:

Next 3 steps out of porch to path and...2 little carcasses. But that certainly meant at least 2 have made it. Or have they? Last 2 days, a white and ginger feral cat has run off when & has exited...

Hi, it's me just in from hospital.....didn't I do this yesterday?

So a much better day for me. I'd a lovely morning at work. Did lots of baking, I did the ordering ....so I know it's done! Not madly busy and got out early as requested.

Sat in sunshine waiting for the train ( remember that sunshine Mhags) , gone by the time I got into city, straight onto a tram & up onto the ward ,all within an hour which was good going.

We had set some goals for today's visiting time and met them all.....just! OH is knacked! More of the same tomorrow. I had beef bourguignon for my tea.

Friends husband picked me up , it was the foulest of weather, absolutely pouring with rain and just horrid. He's very softly spoken and I could quite easily have dozed off! However, I didn't and enjoyed his chit chat.

Home and hello to my dog and my children :)

Also home to a cheque from old school for sold uniforms, a cheque for Medicare refund, which is a pain as I will need to go in to the offices and get it paid into my account as it's made out to DD2 . $14.00 commission from Saturdays takings.
