    Debt-free and Proud!
Thank you for the warm welcome :) - but I forgot to post yesterday!

    Yesterday
    1) Watching Top Gear in Africa with OH
    2) Little Cat not showing any signs of his recurring bladder infection
    3) Watching Big Cat's efforts at trying to get us to give him yet more food
    4) Cheap and healthy salad for dinner
    5) Enjoyable and productive meeting at work

    Today (before I forget)
    1) Porridge for breakfast - love it!
    2) Listening to CDs as I work - got to listen to them or get rid of them
    3) Skirt feels looser!
    4) Student saying "thank you" at the end of a lesson
    5) Earl Grey tea - trying to drink it instead of Diet Coke

I'm trying to work out if you post at the end of the day, or the next day - if you see what I mean!
  • Welcome jkelly

    2. the sun is out :j

    3. new hours at work. shorter days, feel so much better. Just need to convince them it needs to be permanent (reasonable adjustment vs business need...chicken ?)

    4. home for lunch

    5. tidied up and baked banana muffins this afternoon

    Evening all.

Ooh, look, another new poster! :) Welcome, jkelly!

    1) After a snowy start it turned into a lovely looking day, although a seriously cold one! smiley-sad018.gif

    2) Found another good reason for doing reviews online (the first, of course, being that I enjoy writing them) - sometimes a company likes your review and you get a freebie out of it, in this case a promise of free drinks next time I visit the restaurant I reviewed over the weekend. :D

    3) Had a raid on the M&S sale - two pairs of 'trackie bums' (as my sister calls casual trousers) for £8 each, and a super-fluffy fleece jacket for £19. :money: Of course now it's going to warm up and I won't need the fleece again for some time, but it will be there for next winter!

    4) Having ruined my planned NSD, I treated myself to some mini sponge puddings which were on SO, and I'm really looking forward to having one later.

    5) Getting home to a toasty warm flat, as I'd left the heating on low all day for mog's benefit - he looks so pathetic when he's cold! :(

Have a good and warm evening, all.
Back after a very long break!
  • Hi all, hope you've had a lovely Tuesday.

    1. Woke up to snow but could quickly clear the car and drive to work with no problems :)

    2. Had a busy shift at work so it went quickly and came home earlier than planned so got quite a bit of cleaning done which would have otherwise been left for another day!

    3. The sun came out and was lovely and bright all afternoon - cleared all the snow away.

    4. Doing well with not spending unnecessarily this week, back to being good with my budget and have my sensible head on!

    5. OH's tea is ready for him and he will be home in five mins so we can watch and movie and chill for the night before another 5am alarm tomorrow but will be off for three days after! :)

Mine for the past couple of days

    1. Snow almost gone.

    2. A collegue gave me a lift to work - I just had to walk a mile cross country in bitterly cold wind but saved having to drive.

    3. Ham for tea with jacket potatoes.

    4. DH started decorating DS2 bedroom - I emptied the room two weeks ago.

    5. Soup for lunch yesterday.

Skintos -if you can carry out the tasks intrinsic to your role a reasonable adjustment could be shorter hours, job share etc . Your employer would need to OK it though - a large employer would find it difficult to not take this in to consideration in light of the Equality Act 2010(and the previous D.D act, it's not new stuff ) iyswim? . Have you had an Occ. Health Assessment ? In my experience they have been invaluable. Good luck !
