    Evening

    Pleasures for today,
    1. Bit of a lie in, longer than planned so had a mad rush to get ready for work, oops
    2. Managed to make packed lunch for me and DD even though late. OH off today so sorted himself out
    3. Bought some headphones that are compatible with DD iphone in the HMV sale. She has a habit of losing them so will keep them safe until needed. Also got a couple of other bits really cheap to put away.
    4. Have struggled with inspiration for the meal plan this week but had a yummy HM chicken noodle soup for dinner. DD has been a bit off colour today but ate it all.
    5. Got credit card bill today today and about £100 less than expected so should have some excess money in the account this month to put into savings as long as I don't get tempted by something.

Hugs to all who need them

Will try and do quick post - won't rpt boring same old same old's of posting , expecting to see pleasures thus petrified. See them for nano-second as they should be, apparently online here, then they're gone!
    1. 7 calls to wish M Bonne Anniversaire as between us i.e. btwn snowy East Angles and ditto Var, France, our phones fade away on each other. We managed happy chat nonetheless, eventually et en somme. 68 is of course a nonsense in your Earth Years.
2...during which, after similar long messing, D. from NZ was skyping. We have also managed SOME sort of typey/chatty comms...although these, too, are not behaving as skype useter. His b'day pkg arrived safely too - well, in advance of 28/3. Good. And has he Been Good Boy and Saved until The Day?...or as I spot-the-deliberate-mistaked 'God Boy'. Quickly said he was allowed this for 28/3 only...
    3. Relapse - bronchitis, which is burgernation. More tests hier, more promises exacted blahblah etc. BUT, I'm sneaking dahn sarf to O2 Arena shortly - o/n YHA - to see St Tim of Minchin as Judas Iscariot in Jesus Christ Superstar. Treated self to tkt several mths ago. There's been more o/n snowfall, so will be v. sensible and prepped in car - as always: blankies, Thermoses, tools, phone charged.
4.Recent birds with broken wings - I've helped some things happen, realised some cash sales via acquaintances, but minimal against overall scale of things. One eviction goes ahead tmrw, and I can't ease/broker matters. Too far gone. Other appts set up, with gentle prodding reminders, h/m baking/food dropped off - little steps, little steps - and assuring those concerned I am not a fair weather point of contact. This country is in for so much more of this.
    5. Haven't time to catch up with reading atm, but sending Special hugs to kittikins and super Welcomes to newbies.

sparrer -did catch sight of your 'dandruff' snow mention, via 'phone and liked that very much. Spot on! - which extends the simile?
dd- are you SURE it was chicken who won last outing to Mornington Crescent?

Bearing in mind my roaming status as of shortly, I'm starting with: Bromley-by-Bow.

Grrrr.....long post gone! As its nearly bedtime a quick recap:

    1. Cool, cool ,cool !
    2. Appointment at hospital. Went okay-ish! We will trot back in 2 months.
    3. Went to charity shop and go a new to me top and 2 each for the girls.
    4. Gulp....spent $7000 on sons uni fees. That's this semester paid. ...the pleasure, well we had it saved up ( we are not savers by nature) and have been waiting for email requesting it for past month , so it's now out the way!
    5. Rather yummy chocolate!
    6. Nice chats and emails with/ from family today.

Bed time for me...was at work at 5.30am so I could go to hospital ....so rather tired.....however, doors are open ( where we have fly screens) letting the delicious fresh air in. So I SHALL sleep tonight!

Records have been surpassed with consecutive days of far too much heat!

    Ps.....cool is 25o!!

Mhagster $7,000 :eek: oh my life!!

    Five for today are:-

    1. Striped bed yesterday and put all clean on, this morning, early on went the washing machine with three loads out on the line by 10.00am and drying in this sunshine.

    2. Standing having a cup of coffee watching the white sheets on the line billowing about in the breeze.

    3. Brought it all in by 2pm and the majority of it dry, just airing it all off now in the warmth of the conservatory.

    4. Lawns cut front and back this afternoon.

    5. New windscreen fitted to front of car as a stone chip repair failed and it left it with a crack (repair only two weeks old). Autoglass replaced it free of charge under their guarantee - result :T
