Mcullloch I am so sorry for your loss :( From your post, it sounds like a blessed friendship.
CCP sorry for the work stresses.:(

I have had a stressful day, the mortgage decided they would rather randomly decide to put our mortgage up by an extra 700 per month - yes seriously :eek::mad:!!?!?!? I got no where talking to them and I needed to calm down:eek:, and check all payments, I now have a list off all the payments and I am ready to go to battle tomorrow, in fact if they were open now I would be I think the phrase is ripping them a new one:mad:. I so so so so wish we could be mortgage free from this bunch of !!!!!s, could just do without the completely un needed stress. I am just going to continue to pay what I have agreed all the way through, as far as I am concerned that is correct, I seriously can’t stand financial institutions anymore.:(:(

    1. Just had bangers and mash
    2. A beautiful weather day.
    3. A lovely chat with MIL online just now.:)
    4. We went out today forgot it was half term so was a little shocked when it was so busy, bit of a shame a pleasure to get out thou not a pleasure to realise I’m not up to commuting yet.
    5. Looking forward to bed.zzzzzzz:o

    5. Another friend phone this evening, she's just moved into her new home and is feeling a litle bit lost as it's in a completely new area. Had a long chat an arranged some time together on Sunday, plus a possible break to the IoW soon :)

brilliant! I am every day grateful for the water tap and the flushng loo when you consider a) how much time is spent by women around the world collecting water and b) how life-saving sanitation is

Mcculloch, i am so sorry to read of your friends passing. Thankfully, her suffering has ended and she is at peace (((hugs))).

Purple Kitten, an extra £700 ????? What planet are they on???!!!! You are right to be angry/flabbergasted. Hope this is resolved to YOUR satisfaction.

Sparrer, how sad for your friend. The ending of a marriage/relationship is never an easy thing to bear when the heart is invested so deeply. I am sure that your support and the support of other close friends will be hugely beneficial to her.

Oldtractor, i LOVELOVELOVE hearing about your horses. I have always wanted my own horse, sadly, i have such poor health (and such empty pockets) that it is and always has been, impossible for me. I can vicariously enjoy them by reading your posts about them though!

Rightio, my 5 for today. Oh first, let me say THANK YOU to you all for your kindnesses in wishing me well..

    1. Today my stomach has felt much more settled. I am weak, but i am usually anyway so that isnt a shock to my system really. I am sure it is all your well wishes....and the immodium and fasting through it, that has done the trick! Thanks again to you all.

    2. Managed to get downstairs for an hour today. Made a loaf of bread in the bread machine and washed a few dishes. Woohoo!

    3. Have sat up in bed trying to organise the many notepads/scraps of paper etc. info like recipes, my budget etc have been jotted into one of my 2013 diaries. Gardening notes in one, other stuff in the other. I often dont write entries in the diary pages (i start with good intentions but they soon fall by the wayside)... So instead i have stuck recipes/ important notes etc. into the blank pages of the diary ( only on pages up to this date).

As i am terribly brain fogged all the time, i write lots of notes down to remind myself of things and i cant be doing with alll these bits of paper cluttering everywhere up.

    4. Have had a bread roll and an apple to eat, and a couple of cups of tea. Simple, but good, basic food. The best thing is that my body hasn't urgently rejected it.

    5. Mum was finally able to get to a cancer support group in the area today. I am so pleased for her as she has wanted to go for quite some time. Fortunately she had a lift there and back too! I am so pleased for her, she really needs this.

Sorry to hear your sad news, McCulloch. Glad you were able to see your friend last week.

Here are my pleasures for today:

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Porridge for breakfast.

    3) Went to see the newly opened Museum in our local forest. It is volunteer run so not open very often. It is largely stuffed animals. I know some people are not keen but they are generally from road kill and sons loved them and ticked all the ones they could spot off on their sheet.

    4) Got smaller son some new trainers.

    5) Had lunch in Sainsburys.

    6) Biggest treat for smaller son is jet washing the car so he did that for me.

    7) Went swimming with sons and my brother.
