Caterina, Sparrer and Dundee- It's just clicked you all have personal trainers - I don't mean the pair of old Reeboks type of trainer.
Chickenopolis, I used to have a personal trainer when I was working, then I could afford her, but now I train in a group. To be honest I prefer it and it is enormously cheaper. Even though the personal trainer charged me relatively little, compared to the London rate (£20 per hour against the usual £40-£50), I can no longer afford it as I am no longer earning.
So I have discovered this outdoor bootcamp run by an amazing woman, she is also a personal trainer but does 5 outdoor bootcamps a week too, she is really motivational and knows her stuff. It helps that she is also very nice and a close neighbour of mine so I can help her and for every babysitting I get a free class, it saves me around £9. I could probably get more if I did a paid babysit, but this suits me perfectly because it is a straight exchange, she picks me up and takes me back in her car, her client is happy, she is happy and I am happy too! :j Good OS skills swap! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
I thought I'd post here today (seem to be posting on all different threads at the moment!).
OS pleasures today:
1. Went with boys to pick blackberries to make jam. Not v many ripe and I managed to stand on an ants nest. Quite funny really - boys were chanting 'you've got ants in your pants'! Managed to make one jar of jam, even with completely getting recipe wrong (put sugar in with fruit rather than softening them first, and there were a few redcurrants and blackcurrants in with fruit too). Oh well I'm sure it will be fine!
2. My second NSD since I've started counting (about 6 spendy days in between though!)
3. House is all shiny and clean, and I got the boys to help (with threat of not giving them pocket money if they didn't!)
4. HM bread currently proving - 24 rolls and a loaf of bread. The way we go through bread though, that will only last the weekend!
5. It Friday and I don't work Fridays!!!Oct grocery budget £368.40 / 6000 -
Evening, some pleasures for today:
1. Found a bargain dress in a charity shop.
2. It's Friday.
3. My sister has drawn me a new avatar - just need to scan it in.
4. Easy tea tonight - hm pizza baguettes.
5. Another LoveFilm disc to watch.
Take care all

Not a bad day here. Feel much less stressed and anxious today. Didn't realise how rough I felt til I started feeling better, as is often the way!
Pleasures for today...
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Feeling better!
3) Went to mum and dad's to use their washing machine so all washing dried and waiting to be put away now.
4) Enjoyed watching the Olympics again.
5) Have smaller son's birthday cake.
6) Planning his birthday in detail. He will be 9 tomorrow and I am trying to fit in all his most favourite things. So... garden has been tidied ready for his party (if it doesn't rain) and I shall put his tent up. I'll also do them a treasure hunt (just do it in the house on post it notes), get the wii out tomorrow and, his most favourite activity of all - take him to the garage so he can jetwash my car!
7) OH has emailed to say they will pop round to say happy birthday on their way home from holiday (where we should still be...) Smaller son quite happy at that prospect, I'm rather relieved he has got over my shouting and driving off home, bigger son very angry and shouting at me how much he hates him. Marvellous. :-/
Loads to do this evening!
Couple more!
8) Whilst buying smaller son's cake from Sainsburys, getting to test their warm nectarines and marscopone. (spelling?)
9) Going to make a king prawn korma for tea in a minute.0 -
Afternoon all.
I've had one of those horrible days today where I don't feel like I've properly woken up all day.A few pleasures through the doze, however:
1) Watching more Olympics, including several more medals.
2) Gave mog's litter tray a much needed wash, as the warm windy weather was ideal for drying it quickly.
3) Made myself go out for a walk and cut through the public rose garden, which smelt wonderful in the sunshine.
4) Paid in the cheque for the 'try me free' cream cheese. :money:
5) Cut some more sweet peas, and noticed that my HG crops have increased to include a courgette and two alpine strawberries, both of which will be ready to eat... eventually.
6) Worked out how to add an avatar to my posts - it's the sun catcher which my DM bought me :A (it's not actually my one, as I don't have a camera which I could use to take a photo of it, but it's identical to mine).
7) Curry for dinner tonight - HM, of course, although the rice is ready-cooked from a packet as I just can't get the hang of cooking the stuff myself.
Have a lovely evening, all - I must go and see if there's any more medals for Team GB yet.Back after a very long break!0 -

Ugs to all, especially where Mums care for you.:A:A
For today
5 Them pills are funtustic. Juts makes me watching Olmpics, think of altering the Sports. Ok, so here goes for some changes today. How about putting a shark in the swimming pool and he has to takle out the last one on the turns. That will speed them up a bit! Not forgettiug the rowing, how about a torpedo boat half way?
Ayes, and just when I fought about the cycling, up comes some slow coach on a white bike holding them all up. Tell yers, if I was that klass Vickie, I would had trounced him on the first lap.
4 Seems choco is floating around this thread the last day or so. So go on girls, tis the Weeeeeeeeekend.
3 Ms Sonny bagged up puss into his Bat Cage, took to Vet. Possible just being a bit fussy, and he is cracking [STRIKE]up[/STRIKE] on a bit. So he is on ABs and see again Moinday. Thinks for ...

Chicken the pt was assigned to me at the gym, everyone has one to start with to help set up their individual programme and it's included in the monthly fee. So few people use that gym on weekday mornings that I get his undivided attention every visit should I need it. I usually have a reason to need it...;)
CCP I love your avatar, it's really pretty
TILAMS my good wishes to Mrs Sonny. You've got a good 'un there
Skint have an amazing holiday, we'll hold the fort and look forward to hearing all about it when you come back
1. Went to Mr A for a mouse and got a pair rtc for £3.50 due to damaged boxesAlso got some leeks to use in place of lasagne sheets as per Hairy Bikers diet dinner last night
2. Check out girl, no more that 25, complemented me on my hair cut and colour.
3. Weigh day, have gained a lb but that's okay, after last weekend I'm surprised I didn't gain more
4. Not at all OS, I treated myself to that Chinese I've been hankering after for two years. Suffice to say the pleasure was in the anticipation. There's enough for a couple more meals if I want them but think I might be sharing it with the muttley
5. The forecast rain didn't happen so I could spend a good time outside both working and chatting over the fence
6. Medals :j:T
Sleep tight0 -
1. NSD, hoorah, get the bunting out!!
2. Sunshine
3. DD and her friend ran around at the play park place and I got to chat to random people, read my book and enjoy the sun whilst they had a fabulous time. I needed the rest as foolishly just before we left, I popped out to the car in my stupid slippers which slip at the back and then fell up the step into the house, narrowly avoiding major damage to my stupid leg!! So, I was in no mood to go around a huge maze, just to sit and bask in the sun.
4. The girls 'thoughtfully' decorated their fairy cakes beautifully but used up all the icing and smarties, so my selection were naked......what a calorie-saving eh?!
5. Yummy ice cream at the park (tee hee!)
6. Managed to drive there and back on the fumes of petrol, will have to get some tomorrow or Sunday, hopefully the latter!
7. Yummy leftover soup with fresh rolls for dinner whilst the girls made pizzas
8. Very lovely text from OH this morning, on his hols.......I think I can safely say he's missing me0 -
Haven't posted in a while but remembered how much I love reading and sharing those little things that make our days better.
1 - Some awesomely nice customers in work today giving great chat and making the day pass quickly.
2 - Recognition and support from my boss and their boss!!
3 - The sun shining.
4 - Seeing an old work colleague and having a catch up (he was looking rather dishy too hehe).
5 - Coming home to a hand written letter from a friend
6 - 2 people saying my outfit was really cute and I was looking slim!0
