Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Exhausted! I've yelled, screamed, shouted, cheered and now I've lost my voice! Team GB is simply the best :T

    1. The Olympics. Jessica Ennis is a star!

    2. Gave my lovely neighbour a paint tray and a few strawberries which I found hiding under the greenery in the garden. She gave me an accounts book, now I have to keep track of the pennies. Ah well, it had to happen one day. It's the reduced cream scones and good brand Earl Grey I'll have a problem with, but at least only I will see it ;)

3 Did you see Mo Farrah?!

    4. The decorator is coming on Monday at 8am . Cleared most of the lounge, just the book case to go

    5. Greg Rutherford can fly!

    6. 14 Golds, 7 Silver, 8 Bronze!!!!!!

I'm so proud to be British. Sweet dreams :)

    Busy day here!

    1) Smaller son is now 9. :-)

    2) Reasonable sleep.

    3) Smaller son's school friend came to play (the other friend he has EVER had round, he has no interest in anyone else!)

    4) Tasty lunch.

    5) Did baking for the birthday party - 24 fairy cakes, a courgette quiche and some jam tarts from the left over pastry.

    6) Went to the garage so smaller son could jet wash my car (his favourite activity at the moment).

    7) Birthday party with my siblings, mum and dad, my school friend then OH and his sons.

    8) Game of cricket after the birthday tea at the back of the village hall with all the above except my mum. Went on for ages and everyone had enjoyed it.

    9) The Olympics.

    10) OH brought my phone charger with him (he stopped off on the way home from camping to see smaller son and for the party) so I was finally able to recharge my phone and had loads of messages.

    11) People asked me what smaller son wanted for his birthday so he got exactly what he wanted. Brother bought him a scrabble board (off ebay, 2nd hand but one of the deluxe ones so he can't knock the tiles off accidentally); mum and dad bought him an electric toothbrush because he is obsessed with brushing his teeth - he's delighted with it!

    Welcome to Recover the Duster

5 Fixed the bed as a slat had broke. Good job I did woiodwork all them years since, soon hand the clamps, hammer and screwed it back together. Now all bouncy bounce!

4 Cleaned out understair nest, chucked some useless bits. Checked the tins of QS foir xmas. 2003 1.5kg, 2005 1.3kg. Bet they are not this BAH HUMBUG, I shall not mention that word yet.

3 Cleaned out shed, moved some old bits. Well on Friday I had to gets the bat cage for the Tiger, and it was a mess. So nice all sorted again for a year or so.

2 Got the treaders readied, bikes to you lot. Serviced and brakes set for anotehr week or so. Found £4.80 in the bag, so liquidated it for a bottle of wobbleade.

1 Tricks come and go. Magicians blind us with there conjuring. Still no one knew the riddle. Chocolate sponge after that treacle of yesterday.

I see in the ST today that most college students are on AD's by the age of 19. Surely this is not right! We were on bottles at that age on my apprensticeship!

Hi all here's mine so far:

    1. A friend said if our fridge freezer broke they could lend us theirs as it's in storage - it was the only large kitchen appliance left working!

    2. OH fixed the oven!! It took about 15 mins.

    3. The cooker part only cost £25 for the element.

    4. Mum lets us borrow her washing machine.

    5. I can bake bread and cakes now I have a working oven!!!! :D:D

    6. Even without the oven, we coped fine with the hob, slow cooker and microwave ;)

Off the raid the baking cupboard .....:j
