Frith (((hugs))) be careful in all that rain, dont want you swept away.
Re smaller sons school, rings a lot of bells, I remember
Hello, Mrs Skint, School here. We have cancelled your son's reintergration meeting. It will no longer be blah blah day as the SENCO is off sick and we do not have enough staff available to cover. He can come back to school as normal and his reintergration meeting will be re-arranged for the week after !!!!!! once the SENCO returns from sick leave !!!!!

Oh, its so silly. When he DOES get back (still only for mornings!) there will only be 8 mornings left!! Also means he'll miss half the last day of term - bigger son's last day at the school. :-(0

Sparrer you are a total inspiration. Very well done indeed.
1. Murray through to the final
2. DS" took us out for a mea for my birthday
3.lazy day with feet up infront of the telly
4. did see a bit of blue sky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Watching Richard 2nd on iplayer0 -
I've got to post a sneaky pleasure up, we had to get some milk so popped to Mr T, I've never had decent RTCs from there but tonight they reduced things to 20 and 25p each so I now have lots of organic yoghurt with a suprisingly long date on, some sandwiches for work, and several loads of reggae reggae chicken, there was no one about so we took what we wanted and pondered around, only to find a woman trying to "help herself" to the reduced items from our trolley:mad::mad: She laughed about t, I however did not, I thought it was sad, I caught her she didn't get anything.
Thing is it's not like we took everything like some people do, we only took what we can freeze and actually like or could think of something to do with, thou we did have a fair bit but why not. It came to £12 inc the 6pints of milk. :rotfl:0 -
Frith - it gets worse and worse
Chicken - stubborn sisters, eh? I've got one of those
For today
1. Murray won - even though I was watching!
2. DS is better - he has wangled a day off school but it was a "deep" learning week and he's missed most of it.
3. Lunch with girls - first one for a couple of weeks.
4. Cleaned the kitchen, the downstairs loo and the bathroom - it's getting there and still with the help of Harry Potter
5. Watched a film with a glass of vino - yummy
Busy weekend ahead - hope it stops raining.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Wow, huge thanks everyone, I'm all embarrassed now
1. Celebrated my target with a chunk of hm bread, butter and raspberry jam. Might have a take-away at the weekend too, not had one for over a year - then it's back to sensible meals, but with a little treat here and there
2. The fence has gone up, the men worked in the pouring rain to do it and I felt so sorry for them. As one said if they wait for dry days to do their job they wouldn't earn any wages, so I feel really grateful I chose them (and gave them some extra pennies). The fence looks super, I'm already planning to train my loganberry and blackberry bushes along it. And the dog is safe now which is a massive relief.
3. Postie brought me a very nice perfume sample, a proper phial not the postcard type, I save them for little extras to put in with birthday and C'mas cards. She also brought a long awaited cheque for doing surveys
4. Murray won :j You sound like me VJsmum, I think if I watch something it'll go wrong because I put the hex on it
5. The sun came out about 4pm and lasted for 4 hours. Must be thankful for small mercies. It was really quite warm out there, I had to put sun cream on the cats ears as they're both white - the cats, not the ears. Well the ears are white too of course, but you know what I mean!
Night night, sleep tight0 -
Sparrer, woo hoo! Enjoy every mouthful of your takeaway.
I kept popping in and out on Murray...
Very, very quiet day...
1. Son completed his tea when he came in from work- I'd eaten already and he didn't mind.
2. Murray of course and Brit interest in men's doubles too.
3. Snacking on lovely fruit today. It won't last long at this rate.
4. 'My' racehorse Angrove Rumbaba has a new nephew, Angrove Fatrascal, sired by his brother Angrove Spotteddick (or is it Spottedick?) He is absolutely gorgeous from pics on FB.
Fatrascal is 94% thoroughbred and will be a Flat racehorse. I'm so pleased he is a colt as Angrove Stud already have a filly strengthening up to flat race in Angrove Rumsyllabub, and I am longing to see a decent performance by a coloured colt on the Flat... I can dream. Not sure if I'll be able to afford shares in 2 if Rummy is still racing.
5. Son has agreed to take me down to the Angrove Rumbaba racing syndicate barbecue in 2 weeks time. Brilliant!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Morning all, have awakened early from the land of slumber and so far today
1. Its not raining
2. Birds are singing
3. Enjoying my new book latest in a series I have been reading for years
4. Checking out Angrove Fatrascal. Fabulous. Mcculloch Im not as knowledgeable as you and Chicken but I will watch with interest.... and envy. Hope you enjoy the BBQ.
5. Nice cup of tea
wow 5 already and the day is just beginningHave a good day everyone x

Happy Weekend Everyone,
Belated Birthday Greetings, Oldtractor, and Congratulations to Sparrer, too. Big hugs to those who need them, especially dealing with school admininstrators...would drive me up the wall
Struggling to find 5, but here goes...
1. Sun is struggling through after heavy rain last night. What a welcome sight that is this morning!
2. It's Saturday!
3. Not at work!
4. Family outing today to Bamburgh Castle with Aussie Aunt, and then fish & chips...
5. Have I mentioned, not at work!? :rotfl:I am another one who must get the confidence to look for another job before this one destroys me (how dramatic, but that's how it feels)
Have a good one, and keep dry and safe.
