DD. Reckon the flowers could be fake:rotfl:, they’re Carnations they are about the only flower that seems to like it here, I do half cheapest lemonade possible and half water and they seem to like it.
1.Working from Home and it’s Friday whoo hooo.
2. We are badly ££ short with no food budget this week, so busy making some cakes and cereal bars and working our way through the freezer meal planning, tonight is leftover frozen curry with chirstmas cabbage that was also frozen.:o
3. I was tired and feeling a bit poorly when I thought we can’t afford to shop so I will make some cupcakes to snack on over the weekend and next week. It all went well, until I looked around and thought I will make some cereal bars to take into work to tackle my afternoon sugar lows, with a recipe from a fellow MSE’er, so I was playing with ingredients heating it all up looking at it thinking it doesn’t look right than thinking hmmm would look better with oats in! All done and they taste delicious, might have to make another batch for work of course it won’t be the same as I kind of made it up replacing what was in the recipe...
4.Home made pizza for lunch

5 for today
1. Day off !!Still awake at 4.20am though .
2.Went grocery shopping with my Mum and DS as I haven't pushed a trolley since 1998 (no, not too posh to push:rotfl:) . Got lots of bargains from Mr. A . My Mum was trying to rush me putting things on the conveyor belt , which I can only do with one hand anyway as she was concerned that the person on the checkout was waiting . Who is the customer ! DM is quite an anxious person , more so, than I thought .Not clear why .
3.Made a meat lasagne from scratch for anxious DM and OH with rtc mince and a veg one for me . Time consuming but relaxing .
4. My DS is brassic and a very unwell lady, and I tried to pay for her shopping but she went bananas. Will need to figure out how to help her out without her getting the hump.Produce from my garden I think .
5.An hours nap to make up for sleep deficit.
Have a good evening all!:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A0 -

1 Never serve a false clown. beaware of these foxes amongst us. Just read a thread a Council tax rebranding. Ask you sen a question before giving out a penny. WHY DO YOU WANT MY MONEY.
At the sight of these leeches, people are made stupid and senseless; those who make to these idols are disillusioned, because they are false and lifeless themself. We must guard those close to us, or the wolves will tear through the chicken house, with a sunder.

Evening all.
PK - the made-up recipes are always the best ones, I find.
sparrer - very well done! :T
1) Managing to laugh and not cry at an email from another department at work. They've been complaining bitterly about an agreement that was made a few years ago, which was apparently set up wrongly and which I should have known was wrong (they haven't specified quite how or why I would have known ): the agreement is now up for renewal and they've gone for exactly the same terms that they've been giving me grief about all week. :wall:
2) Received a cheque from my GM to replace the one she sent me for my birthday, along with a nice card, which got lost en route.
3) Got home in time to watch most of the Murray match: a good result, although I must confess I find Tsonga a more exciting player to watch than Murray.
4) Watching Mrs Blackbird wrestling with an oversized worm, which she finally managed to get hold of to take it back to the nest for the babbies' dinner.
5) My DM emailed me a lovely photo of a yellow lily in her garden.
Have a nice evening, all - I hope no-one's suffering too badly from the current excess of sogginess.Back after a very long break!0 -

Have a lovely evening, all.

Had a phone call this evening that will surprise none of you - least of all TILAMS.
"Hello, Miss R. School here. We have re-arranged smaller son's reintergration meeting. It will no longer be next Weds morning so he can start back at school for mornings only. No, we've moved the meeting to 1pm and he can do Wednesday afternoon, before doing just mornings."
Me "Why?"
School, sounding sheepish. "Erm, Ofsted are in next week until Wednesday lunchtime".
So I REALLY, REALLY enjoyed filling in the parent questionairre. I do hope Ofsted read mine. SEN pupil, school make very little provision for him. Cut his timetable down to mornings then exclude him for being disruptive. For WEEKS AND WEEKS. Then they put back his date to return to school and upset his morning only timetable because they have an Ofsted.
Anyway, 5 for today! Felt pretty grim all day but let's see what I can find.
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Last night's pasta for lunch with half of the world's most enormous avocado!
3) My 2 new window frames are being constructed and will ready next Thursday then they will phone me to make an appointment to fit them. :-) Sad, old window frame in the living room that had condensation between the panes now has water between them so its like looking out of a fish tank!
4) Loads of smaller son work done. It's been a battle. Am tempted to go swanning into school and say airily "Oh, I had no trouble". Have done 3 maths worksheets, read 4 stories, been on the recommended websites and made a mosaic over the last 2 days. His topic has been Ancient Greece. I've waited 20 years for my Classical Civilisation A level to come in useful!
5) OH has ignored my very stressed rantings and been out to buy a tent for our forthcoming trip to Wales.
6) Made a curry for tea followed by treacle sponge and custard.
7) Strangely, rather enjoyed the school run this afternoon. 4 miles through water pouring off the fields across the roads and through 2 proper floods. It was a challenge.
8) The kittens. 3 very different characters. And I like how one stays asleep on the sofa despite the other 2 leaping all over it.
9) Boys happy enough.
10) They've gone to bed now so its my first boy free moment since 8am and I've got a cup of tea.0
