Wow there were some seriously early morning posters on here...

Chick:- Nope I reckon I'm far to sarcastic only really DH gets to see me rant, I reckon if we ever met we'd hit it off well.:)

We got up and went to set up a free animal pr day at a vets and it was lovely if a bit soggy and tiring and bitten to shreds by mozzies who I found are very attracted to Johnsons moisturiser.

1.We had so much help I was able to sit down for a bit:cool:
2.DH and I could also for a meander about and grab an ice cream and it was lovely:p
3.Was nice to catch up with people
4.Takeaway to be ordered later no we can’t afford it but err hmmm...
5.Just taken painkillers which are kicking in nicely.
6.Just watching the making of Iceage4 and DH and I have said we will make an outing to the cinema for it, first in over a year.
  • 1) I forced myself to go to Waitrose to get some very last minute Bargains with my Trolley which had my new camping chair, a flask, a long life bottle of milk-candia plus brolley so I could be ok should the heavens open.
    2) I walked back home about a 2miles+ walk plus weighty trolley with reduced 'picnic goodies' to be eaten on return home.
    3) I got some reduced salads some real finds like Waitrose Rainbow Salad with Edamame, wild rice, rice, and oriental dressing, totally utterly and absolutely delicious which I served with
    4) brownie point some leftover organic Riverford Beef sliced for instant protein.
    5) I did some reading earlier on on the chair in the Garden.
I am totally exhausted, have rubbish overdue to chuck out, and my exertions means I will sleep tonight!:money::beer:

Wow Skint, your waking up time's not far off my bedtime! Or used to be, I go much earlier - 1.30am'ish - now ;)

mcculloch I looked up the site for Angrove Rumbaba out of curiosity (nosiness), it sounds a really exciting thing to be so involved in.

TILAMS hope you and Mrs T had a good weekend even if you weren't home til past curfew

    (((Mhags))) get well now!

    1. Woke to a beautifully sunny morning :D

    2. It was raining by the time I went out and didn't stop til mid afternoon but on the bright side I didn't have to water.

    3. Attended a regional meeting this morning, met up with people I'd not seen for ages and caught up over lunch with some of them afterwards

    4. The fence seems to be doing its job, no problems from the dogs next door and my lovely neighbour the other side has offered to help me treat the panels to a coat of forget-me-not blue wood stain to match the shed when it stops raining :)

    5. Women's final. Didn't go quite the way I would have liked but I thought they were a good match for each other.

    Sweet dreams :)

    Here's my five for yesterday
    1) got lots of housework done in the morning :TI love this flying thing where you do each job in 15 mins. Washing had to go in TD as rain persisted all day (so grass not cut)
    2) DD1 went off to edinburgh in the morning so now I'm all alone in the house -ok so m!!! has just jumped in the bed to remind me with 2 cats one is never alone:rotfl:
    3) we're going on holibags this week and had strict instructions from oh to go buy clothes. I hate buying clothes  so stopped in t'pub to watch the women's final. When their rain arrived my conscience got the better of me and i bought the required items :j
    4) caught bus back ( rain now very heavy!) and found i'd missed a corker rest of match :( so settled down to mens final :T well rewarded. Then womens final hence not posting 5 yesterday
    5) reverbed 3 fivepences. Last month dire on the old road kill with a paultry 25p. Oh found £35 the other day but then saw a frantic young man retracing his steps. Since he was able to answer the question 'have you lost something' with a desperate 'yes 35 quid' it seemed reasonable to assume his honesty. So the money was returned and a warm glow of a good deed done ensued.
Off to big Ed today. Have a meeting 4-6. I know, rubbish timing re the tennis. It's a voluntary thing so i cant even claim for travel. C'est la vie

Good morning, everyone! I forgot to pop on last night to post my pleasures so here goes with some highlights of yesterday:

    1. The rain has lessened and is coming in fits and starts now - no persistent rain.
    2. There's a spider on my door curtain and I'm not scared of it! That's a recent thing as I would normally be getting Mr K to put it outside.
    3. Getting a text from my sister to say GB had a winner at Wimbledon - Go Marray!
    4. Mr K cooked tea last night - lasagne & garlic bread. It was lovely.
    5. I had a lay-in for quite a while and it was goooood - woke up to a big cup of tea too!

Hope everyone has a nice day - (((hugs))) to those in need.

    K xx

Welcome, Greenfairy. Knitting and tea sounds like my kinda afternoon

CCP - love Dahlias, they are such an old fashioned flower. Never grown any successfully though

WQMS - your salad sounds divine, as does Chicken's omelette.

    FOr yesterday

    1. Had a lie in watching an old TV prog on the laptop
    2. OH and I had to go into Birmingham and we had lunch in a little cafe we found in Harborne. Home cooked food and no music - which suited us both
    3. DD had a friend for a sleepover on Friday and she was still there on Saturday afternoon. Bit worried that DD has been quite isolated since she finished school so I was pleased about this.
    4. Booked our second hotel for the second half of our New York holiday week without OH. Just the other 2 weeks to sort out now for after he has turned up.
    5. Watched "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" from BT Vision with OH and DD. Really liked it despite not being bothered before hand

Friends are coming for lunch, so I have a couple of hours of food prep, tidying, hoovering and pudding making ahead. Have a good day all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

PK - :rotfl: , I am sure we would hit it off unless you caught me with my hands in your trolley;)

DD- sounds like there is a lot more roadkill money where you live . I only found 1p this month. The swear filter does not like the word P U S S Y C A T either clearly something anti feline going on !
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A
  • DD Problems with her p u s s y. You can have ours. I fill his bowl up in the morn, he ignores it. Chews Ms Sonnys foots and waits for her. Dim cat, whines and meows away wanting feed, when the bowl is full of goodness on the floor.

    Curfew is over

Back with Ms Soony. Always told her that we could kick rrrrrrrrrr. Yesterday, I did, working away in mud, and I stretched out my left mud enscrusted boot and she must have walked into it as it messed up her top! So knowing you lots, I feel vibes of grief coming to Ms Sonny.

5 Muddy good fun at Nibley. Just doing the videos this week. Good pint of Old Thumper to snooze off with:beer::beer::beer:

4 Some tennis match on today. Come on Andy.

3 Full English for Brekkies, incluind her toast as well. And perfect poached eggs. Dipped in salted boiling water, cracked on the side, and splooshed in. 4 minutes and slopped on the plate.

2 Birthday bash this afternoon. Dog Burger and wobbleade, hope it yellow thing comes out.

    1 Sunday Service again!

Have a good day et al.
I hvae nt snept th lst fw mntes writg ths post fr yu t cme alng hre nd agre wth m!

    Cheers! :beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

Hardly dare type i had my p u s s y shaved. His hair got matted poor thing. The grooming lady left him with furry ugg boots and furry face. He looked soooooo funny but is so much more comfortable. He had so front teeth so is not brill at grooming himself.
