    Evening all :)

Frith belated happy birthday, hope you enjoyed your chips with a view :)

Ewww mar might, horrid stuff _pale_. Traitor I may be but I much prefer the milder vege might of Aussie origin.

    1. Had my assessment at gym this morning. Times increased and new exercises added, it will certainly make the sessions more interesting - and I'll certainly be getting my money's worth!

    2. Back to DD's house afterwards, she showed me photo's she took yesterday at the RSPB HQ. She took her rather expensive camera with new lens (my 2 sofas cost little more than that ) but all they saw was a pair of magpies! She got some lovely shots of woodland and heath though, and later on quite a variety birds on her bird feeder at home!

    3. Picked my first seven loganberries! They're big and sharp/sweet and perfect because I grew them :D

    4. Visited a friend this evening, sat on proper deckchairs drinking Assam tea in her beautiful country garden in the evening sun surrounded by hollyhocks, foxgloves, orange poppies, peonies, roses, sweet peas...idyllic :)

    5. Wimbers! Do Not Disturb :p

    Night night, sleep tight :)

    A round-up as it's been a couple of days.

    1. Racing on Saturday, Black Caviar - what a star, to get her jockey out of jail like that. For all that's been said, Tom Queally did something similar on Frankel, but got away with it, thankfully.

    2. Chats with sister over the phone.

    3. Yesterday, getting in the door with the trike five seconds before the heavens opened. We have not seen the sun much here.

    4. Today though, we didn't see the rain and lots of washing got dried on the line. I noticed that nobody else around here put washing out. I ignored the clouds and prayed the forecast on my phone app was right. It was.

    5. Painkillers are working well. They are also suppressing appetite, which, for me, is a Good Thing.

    6. Laughing myself silly at some of the posts here - TILAMS, of course and please forgive me, Frith, but the breadmaker episode struck me as so funny.... I do hope it's better luck next time. Were you able to rescue the crumbs to use as a coating?

We have a book devoted to Marmite on the bookshelves and a giant jar lasts roughly 2 -3 weeks. This is a 500g jar and we are a household of 2 adults.

Waiting patiently for my Punchbowl books to arrive. No post today, have a nasty feeling it's the relief postman again. We seem to have deliveries missed out when he is around.

Yesterday had very few pleasures - I seemed to spend a fair bit of it being shouted at ... oh well. Trying to focus on the positive. :)

    1. An early start to the day - have been up since 3:30am as can't sleep.
    2. I can still put earrings in. I had thought the holes had long closed up, but they're in all right.
    3. Came in under budget on my Grocery Challenge for the first time ever.
    4. The few lbs I've lost haven't all crept back on yet.
    5. For now, at least, the sun is out.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Happy Birthday, Frith & CCP!

Happy Birthdays frith and CCP, have lots of cake (and marmite sandwiches) :)

Sonny - *sigh* an anti-Marmite avatar, what are we to do with you? Go and have some wobbleade whilst I wipe marmitey crumbs from my chops! Actually, neither DD, nor OH nor my ex-OH like marmite - heathens :(

    9) Looking forward to the return of OH this evening at which point he, smaller son and I will be off to eat chips on the Clee Hills. :-)

Why haven't you got any plates?:rotfl:
We all await VJ's postcard from Montreal, safe journey.

    Wish you were here?
    5. Virgin bloke came round and fixed my tivo, so hopefully should now record

Blimey - you got a bit personal didn't you? Or was it obvious! :rotfl:

Sorry - it must be the jet lag. Happy birthday Frith and CCP

SO here I am in MOntreal, though haven't really seen any of it yet. Hotel is pants but will be nice when they finish it!

FOr yesterday - if I can

    1. Had a soak in the bath to try to calm myself. DD more or less forced me out of the house in the end as I was all of a dither.
    2. Good journey to Heathrow and we all met up as arranged (there are 6 of us here - and the big boss arrives today!)
    3. Preflight snack and wine in Wagamamas
    4. In flight wine courtesy of BA - and a dose of Harry Potter on the TV and war horse which was lovely and which I'd like to see on the big screen. Not least for Eddie Redmayne and my newly discovered sex god - Benedict Cumberbatch (even if he is funny looking)
    5. Scary taxi journey to the hotel but we made it. Hotel is a buiding site but at least the room is clean and decent.

THanks for the good wishes everyone - I am delivering my paper tomorrow

Off for my brekkie in a bit, hope to catch you all later and enjoy the rest of your Tuesdays - mine is just beginning, how bizarre.

Oh and Chicken, yes I am getting around a lot this year - and i haven't finished yet!;)
I wanna be in the room where it happens
