mmmmm Marmite, tis the food of the gods Sonny!! I'm in solidarity with you on the predictive spellings malarkey though, I have a new mobile and keep on sending OH very unusual messages.....ok, even more unusual than usual ones!! :);)

    1. NSD - YAY! Nearly wasn't but the diat Cokke machine at work had run out of nectar, so I kept my 50p in my purse instead

    2. Sunshine and yup, washing (yawn)

    3. Exchanging emails with my mummykins about some knitting she wants to do for me :)

    4. Woke up with DD, but hopefully will wake up with OH tomorrow, he's far less wriggly than my little kitty!

    5. Work was ok, no news at all on the job situation, but no news is good news

    6. Friend and her children popped over after school for a natter

    7. Had physio appointment......she was surprised to hear that I've been very sore since she last mauled me, so did it again and warned me that I may be sore again. Yup, so far so true! But the pleasure?!? That I get free treatment that is helping me regain more movement, even if it is darned painful!

Mmmm, marmite, nectar. The food of gods. Remembers when Ms Sonny made me her first ever artistic interperation of a marmite sanity. She spread the brown stuff like jam. Cor blimey, she still larfs at it now. Just love cream cratered, marmite, and some mature cheddar. Once tasted, never bettered.

Oh dear, sanity. Mine has rite gone now. It is a earnie sarnie Mr Apple.

We all await VJ's postcard from Montreal, safe journey.

    Evening all.

TILAMS - here's one girlie who doesn't like Citroens either! I got one in a hurry when my last car died, and wish I hadn't - it's truly horrible to drive, and I can't wait to get rid of it. :(

Frith - happy birthday! I should remember your birthday as it's only one day before mine. :) I really feel for your poor DS - I've always suffered from dreadful travel sickness, too, and I still do unless I'm driving.

I decided to have a lazy day today as it's my first day of holiday and let my poor, sore leg heal.

    1) Long lie-in this morning.

    2) NPD and almost NSD.

    3) Ordered a nice terracotta planter for my alpine strawberries: I thought I had enough survey vouchers to cover the full cost, but I was actually £1.30 something short, so it's not quite an NSD.

    4) Gave mog's litter tray a much needed wash as it could dry outside in the sunshine.

    5) Started looking at mobile phone deals for when my current contract finishes at the end of this month - I've found a better deal so it will be negotiation time to see what my current supplier can offer me.

    6) Planted out a few of my unlabelled seedlings: one's turned out to be a sweet pea, but I've still got no idea what the others are.

    7) Courgette and cheese pasta bake for dinner, using up various odds and ends of cheese and the end of a stale loaf that I've turned into breadcrumbs.

    8) No football tonight, but there's tennis instead (or there will be if the flippin' internet player stops crashing every few minutes ).

    Have a nice evening, all.
Back after a very long break!

    Happy Birthdays :bdaycake::beer:

1.I was very nervous, but I am amazed to say I know it’s only my first day, but I love it, I’ve never been able to say that before, they are all so friendly, it’s something just slightly different to what I have previously done and wow the change is amazing. My walk in and back to the station also takes me into some lovely gardens right by the thames, it’s relaxing (when it’s sunny).:)
2.I think I was looking a bit bemused, when a lovely lady who works on the same 4 desks but is nothing to do with the same work, said do I want to go for a tea so we had a tea and a natter.:o
3.Back home on the fast train and got a seat.:T
4.2 loads of washing done as I don’t have that many work clothes for this nice warm weather.
5.A nice easy bolognaise cheesy pasta bake is just about to be ready, if anyone wants a portion:D
    6. Sorry not in order but just remembered they also treated me to lunch as I class as a visitor while pass is sorted so the provide voucher, it's also heavily subsidised.

Back from my weekend of reunions. Have sort of solved the cc non payment. I paid my usual online way 1st of the month, tesco refused the payment 6th of the month. Nooooooooo. So now i have a £12 fine plus interest plus a mystery to sort out and a worry about how to pay the darn thing in future. Time to change cc? Cant be doing with this malarkey!
Ok so following post is me wallowing inmemories :D
    1) Got to 1st premier inn safely friday despite the dresdful weather
    2) got to mil saturday morning (still raining)
    3) got to 2nd premier inn after being taken round the houses by mr satnav including past the hospital where i had a miscarriage over 20 years ago. oH was furious with the satnav but i think it was the start of a rather cathartic weekend -satnavs work in mysterious ways (and believe me it was the most convoluted route so summat funny going on)
    4) got to friends' 25th wedding anniversaryand spent fantastic evening with 3 other uni friends we havent seen for 25 years
    5) sunday walked up ivanhoe beacon to lay some more ghosts. Amazingly despite raining right up to us arriving in the carpark it was dry for our walk. Goodness it was windy. OH has wanted to lie on the grass watching the gliders. Years ago, we lay on the grass there looking up at the gliders and she felt like it was the summer before disaster just like the summer before the war. The following years were very bumpy and we did the what would you tell the you back then if you met them. All very Sliding Doors
    6) then we went off to luton, land of my birth, past my grandma's house (goosebumps), past the cricket pitch (and yes they were playing) and to the house of someone i was friends with 33 years ago when we both belonged to the same drama club) i'd recently found him on facebook and when i knew we were going to be in the vicinity invited us for lunch ;-)
    7) he's still in touch with loads of the old crowd and continued running the group after the death of the director
    8) he was able to give me the very good news that one of the members who had had loads of trouble starting a family and had had a beautiful daughter who died a day old now has a lovely son
    9) (ok not a highlight) watched the england match. Least sed soonest mended?
    10) looooong drive home today. No news from son so assuming no news is good news and he's starting his adventure in uganda
Have a good evening everyone. Will be a shorter less self-indulgent post tomoz. Happy birthday Frith
