Welcome goggit. Love your #1, hoping the reunion was all you wished for
DundeeDoll I know there was a w/e a while ago. Perhaps tomorrow's BH will make up for the loss of the one we were supposed to have. Where does the time go?
Kittikins ooh wild garlic. I grew some once but it disappeared to I don't know where!
1. No rain, the sun appeared about 3pm and has only just gone down. Hope it's dry tomorrow so I can mow the jungle on Tuesday
2. Called in to Mr A, bought some WW caramel marshmallow wafers for tea which were ys to 60p
3. Good lunchtime meeting, two newbies for which I'm always thankful, they found the venue and it reminds me of where I was, and where I am today
4. A lovely 'new' friend (a lady I've known for some time but have just become friends with) came to tea, we had the above WW wafers with our first cuppa and her luxury chocolate bars with the second
5. Very pleased that 90 y/o DM has decided, after trying one, she doesn't want frozen dinners delivered, and wants to keep making her own. I'm sure they're very good but as long as she can cook her meals (and she's always been a very good cook), it helps fill her day and is better for her in more ways than one
Sleep well0 -
Ah Sparrer if you were visiting your DM and me my parents who live nearby, I would have happily brought you bunches of wild garlic.....x0

Evening,
Everyone seems to have had quite contented weekends do far. Lovely to hear.
1) Attached the meadow that was my lawn with the mower and now it looks so much neater. I also popped across to do most of my neighbour's as she hates gardening.
2) Planted my hollyhocks and sweet peas and the last of my tatties
3) Made some fish cakes with some mashed potatoes that needed using up and had them for lunch with some salad. Made a change from lasagne! I had to have lasagne for supper though... Only one portion to get through now
4) Got a work call this evening - someone had forgotten to place an order and was desperate for a delivery tomorrow. Got it sorted with a few phone calls... Not that I will get any thanks for it.
5) NSD and NPD. I have been a little free and easy with the credit card in the last week which I need to reign in.
6) Finished my book. Yes I had read it before but had forgotten most of the story line of this one too... So enjoyed it all over again. The funny thing is that I think I actually own it myself and have it stashed in a cupboard somewhere and I had still forgotten that I had read it previously!
Night all
LMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
Ladyhawk - can't the Lasagne swap places with something else in your freezer?I wanna be in the room where it happens0

Ummm... Cos it hadn't even crossed my mind? I can be so dozy at times!Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
My five are
1. Seeing some deer while walking.
2. Had a wander round a garden - about 10 acres- at a local college which is free. Areas were great and others needed a bit of work but will be going again.
3. DS2 completing his night walk.
4. Chatting to a friend while walking my dog.
5. A neighbour being considerate about parking.0
