Hope everyone has had a lovely day :D Here are my five for today ...

    1. Was motivated, and did some exercise this morning before breakfast

    2. Had my current fave Slimming World friendly breakfast, a toasted pitta bread with a little snack size tub of choc philly spread on top (which melts from the hot pitta) and then sliced banana all over the top ..... ouuu it is lush!

    3. Did a massive deep clean through our flat, and it looks fab now.

    4. Made ice cream using an Angel Delight ice cream mix sachet I got as a freebie last year, and also made a very yummy lasagne for tea.

    5. Spent some time relaxing, with my new cat who cuddled up on my lap whilst I watched YouTube videos on my laptop.

    5 for today

    1) Looking round another primary school for smaller son with my mum.

    2) Having a cup of tea at mum and dad's.

    3) Graze box coming in the post - haven't had one for months.

    4) Fish and chips for tea.

    5) Strange pleasure - had a phone call from smaller son's paediatrician. I told him about having to collect C from school on so many occasions. (I had locked myself in the bathroom to try and use the phone in peace). Paediatrician then heard smaller son kick the door down (he splintered the frame so it swung open) and launch a huge torrent of abuse. :-( So it is a pleasure in that someone has finally seen what smaller son can be like and how he has melt downs at school. And the paeditrician is going to sort something out - next week!!! We've waited nearly 5 years for anyone to come up with a diagnosis or any practical help.

    1) Almost completed 1st week a la Fly lady and what a difference its made too

    2) Made huge batch of sponge cake mix so I now have 2x Lemon drizzle cakes, 12x Jammies, half an upside down pear cake (had half for pudding tonight) and 12x chocolate cupcakes. So plenty for the freezer, feeling positively angelic:A

    3) Finished another patchwork cushion cover ready for when i've reupholstered my suite, bought the fabric for £3/m at our local upholsterer's when they were having a general clear out. Patchwork cushion covers being made from sample books from the same place for £2

    4) Sat here cutting more patchwork squares with a glass of wine (HM of course)

    5) Liquid drought has let up:j

oops had one too many wines

    1. Lovely lady at the checkout in MrT - customer - gave me a £3 off a £10 shop voucher that she couldn't use. Really kind of her
    2. I have bought some material to make a skirt. Just need to get the pattern now. I fancied a white stuff skirt but at £40 ish couldn't justify it. My material is white stuffy and only cost £4!
    3. Did a mega shop - the pleasure is that I feel I got a lot of bang for my buck.
    4. Having spent £170 in Mr T I then bought a meal for £10 from M&S as I did't have anything for tea :o It did go 3 ways though.
    5. An evening of doing nothing - the iron died whilst mid iron last night so my £170 did include a new one. However the ironing board is still set up in the lounge with a pile of unironed laundry but I am ignoring it.

    Have a good one all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    1. Woke up with OH :)

    2. DD came in, jumped all over us and gave cuddles when she woke up :)

    3. Worked from home again

    4. DD and I sowed some seeds in pots in the kitchen, bring on the self-sufficiency ;)

    5. My feeling of pride and joy at seeing DD at her dance lesson, the girls are all sooooo good and are starting to learn routines for next year's dance show :)

    6. DD has chosen a lovely light fitting she thinks will look good in the sitting room....I like it too, but not necessarily the price! (Still haven't chosen an electrician yet....)

    7. A late birthday present arrived for me in the post, lots of choccy, nomnomnom

    8. Low spend day, managed to do fresh fruit and veg shopping and not break the bank!

    9. Planning a girly dinner night chez moi for next weekend, my chums won't mind the building siteness of our house!

    10. I've booked ultra cheap tickets for DD and I to go to the cinema tomorrow morning, we're very excited :)

    11. Just done another consumer survey, hoorah to the LV that will come through the door soon!

Kittikins there's something very special about watching your little ones achieve the things they do, loved that feeling of pride watching the girls dance or ride, and DS playing a mean game of footie or parading with the Cadets. Nowadays he's a ref but I still love him :D
Skint as above. I could almost say I miss the mud etc., you'll understand one day ;). 'Enjoy' it if/while you can, when they leave a tidy house can be pretty dull!
ot cuddles and fusses for moglet, wishing him well soon

    1. Up early as the gas man cometh, I'm very grateful for these services the HA pays for even if I pay for them in a roundabout way

    2. Chat with a friend who then came for coffee, saving what could have been a big phone bill :D

    3. nsd/npd, the first this month. I'm aiming for as many as I can get, April was an horrifically expensive month

    4. Gathered together whatever I could find in the hope of doing a car boot if it ever stops raining, and have two big boxes full. I don't know where it all comes from, I did one last year and cleared out everything, or thought I had

    5. Watching a documentary about the friendship between a baby elephant and a sheep. Truly amazing, I admire the men who intervened to help the orphaned animals. They're not all bad ;)

    Sweet dreams :)
