    1. Really great morning at church :)

    2. OH and I took DD and his son to an ice rink, DD's first time and W was sooooo lovely with her, holding her hand, chatting away, giving her advice and compliments. She LOVED it! W will be on call again to take her again.

    3. I've bought a guitar on the bay of eeeeees! Never had a massive urge to learn but am hoping that DD will teach me, as she's having lessons and can be a bit.....reluctant.......to practice but loves practicing when she's with another person playing an instrument, so the hope is that we will strum away to our hearts' content within the week!

    4. Lovely to see OH and have a natter and a coffee with him whilst our offspring glided around the icerink

    5. Drinking Ba1leys whilst watching Vera on TV, yum.

    1. Met a friend for coffee - in a garden centre as the coffee is good and much cheaper. Managed not to buy anything else.

For goodness sake villagelife how on earth do you do that? I didn't know it was actually possible!

    1. So excited, it has to be first - it stopped raining for 3 hours today so I managed to get into the rainforest and pull quite a lot of triffids :D

    2. Lappy went on strike this morning, refused to link to the net even after running through all the usual checks twice. Decided to leave it til I got home this afternoon and halfway through the meeting I suddenly thought of looking at f12 to see if it had accidentally got switched to off line. Got home, turned it on and guess what? Pat on the back for me (bighead) ;)

    3. Excellent meeting, not least because someone brought some chocolate toffee biscuits. Ooh, they - I had two - were yum!

    4. Gave myself a trim, managed quite well with a hand mirror, bathroom mirror and the shaving light. Saved a few £'s anyway

    5. The slow cooker korma was just right, one portion for dinner and 7 put away for when I need quick meals. Love korma :D

    Sleep tight :)

I think I only have one for yesterday

    1. WEnt to The Harry Potter studio tour in London - it was absolutely brilliant. I lurrve Harry Potter and won't say much as it may spoil it for those going.

I'll try for a couple more.

    2. OH stayed behind and had a cooked dinner waiting for us the minute we got back
    3. Butterbeer at studio tour - yummy
    4. chatting to a man whilst waiting for the kids to buy everything in shop (well they would have but the prices were ). Turns out man's son had come down from the same town as us and he was saying how much he likes it.
    5. Without saying too much - certain parts of the tour had even cynical old me saying "WOW" out loud and one particular bit where I was almost teary (only almost mind :o)

Back to muggle world. Have a good day all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    5 for yesterday (Sunday)

    1) Bit of a lie in.

    2) No tiles blew off the roof - terrible storm.

    3) OH came round.

    4) Went swimming with OH and my sons.

    5) Had a NERF gun fight. (foam bullet things).

    6) Applied for the local job.

All a bit tense though. :-( OH seemed very touchy and grumpy. I don't know whether swimming was the best idea, I remembered when he got in that he can see about 10cm without his glasses on. :-( And he didn't like getting "injured" in the NERF gun fight.

Cue my getting rather stressed and not sleeping at all. And smaller son getting up after midnight to be very sick indeed. :-(

Anyway, OH has gone again until tomorrow night and a completely recovered smaller son is on the sofa next to me. :-)

    Morning

Chicken - just cathcing up on the weekend and so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you and your family at this very sad time.

    Pleasures for the weekend:

No more long walk now until the 12th May where I will walk my 26.2 miles through the night in my bra . Messages from My friend K today reminded me why I am doing this, she is is remission from breast cancer.
    2. Not OS or MSE but a lovely bacon sandwich and cup of tea in Windsor great park when finished, you have no idea how good a bacon sandwich can taste.
    3. My lovely friend K coming out and joining me on the last 6 miles of my walk even though it is raining and she gave me a lift home.
    4. Soak in the bath with a cup of tea made by DD
    5. Lots of lovely cards and presents yesterday for my birthday
    6. Dinner out with the inlaws, mostly paid for with vouchers thanks to Mr.T.

Hugs to all who need them, especially Chicken and MHagster.
