Evening all (or should that be morning?)

I have been a right lazy mare today... Bliss!

    1) Woke up late, watched some TV, read my book, snoozed

    2) Baked a chocolate cake and a blueberry cake for my nephews birthday on Sunday

    3) Popped into MrS and stuck to my list except for some YS fish pie mix

    4) Did some knitting - only 3 more squares to go before I finish this row. Then only 2 more rows to go!

    5) I have managed to resist putting my heating on :)

    Night

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

    Had a good day yesterday

    1. DS2 went to watch rugby - a friend took him and the tickets were free. The match was good and the right team won.

    2. Finally cleared the kitchen surfaces from clutter.

    3. Started sorting out my pile of recipe cuttings and throwing the ones I will never make.

    4. Went out for a meal with friends which was lovely and we managed to get student discount.

    5. Washing dried outside before a neighbour lit a bonfire! and I bought it in before it smelt of smoke.

    Here's my 5for yesterday
    1) despite forecast to the contrary another lovely sunny day so walked into town with OH and bought new pair of all stars. My current ones now have worn through so only good for dry weather :j
    2) walked onto library and found 3 more hamish macbeths then back along the silvery tay. Soooooo beautiful
    3) madebread (still from the mixes from lidl - working way in slowly). I made ciabatta again and OH made rye bread. Both really scrummy. Although we mixed by hand (gooey!) i also cleaned the cobwebs off the BM
    4) went to friend penny's 60th. Gave her (along with bottle of pink champagne) a jam jar with 60 slips of paper in, each with an idea for using an old penny (and labelled '60 uses for an old penny') :rotfl: went down very well and thinking of other fun presents in a jamjar.
    5) got through march within budget despite 5 SMs. :money:
Sore throat has moved down onto chest :( so having an easy day. Still hope to find 5 tonight. Have a good day everyone, hope noone's been fooled!
    4)

1.clocks went back but it just meant I was awake even earlier! However,I enjoyed the peace and quiet, I read for a bit and then got busy in the kitchen.
    2. I made bacon and mushroom muffins, 2 banana loaves, spicy pumpkin soup and later I made rhubarb jam.
    3. Went for a Sunday scone.
    4. Supervised some gardening! Cut rhubarb and found potatoes which I will make potato salad with. I think we may have pumpkins or gourds growing too.
    5. Had a snooze on my new sofa....just the perfect size for me to lie down on.
6.read some more, not sure if I have read the book before it seems familiar.
7.went to see best exotic marigold hotel at cinema using my mega reduced tickets. We all really enjoyed it.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend ....night night from me.

VJsmum sounds like you are having a fab time in stockholm.

    My for today:

    1. Back pain has eased so not needed as many pain pills
    2. The sun has got his hat on......
    3. Washing on line, just need to tackle the ironing now
    4. DS out again today, doing his police volunteering work, so have managed to tidy up a bit
    5. mum and dad coming to stay tomorrow for a week, so I might not be around for a while. Hope the weather keeps up, but there has been mention of rain next week. Mind you last time it rained mum stayed in and did all my ironing.... maybe I should leave the mountain for a while ;)

Hope you all had a good weekend x

    1. NSD / NPD
    2. 4 loads of washing done and on out to dry
    3. Probably looked daft when I sat on a cushion in the garden, reading in the sun.
    4. Picked up some lamb steaks reduced to 10p, teaming it with mint mash, the smell seems to be driving the fuzzies loopy.
    5. Making the most of it while not working so looking forward to no alarm in the morning, jobs don’t seem move on Mondays and with it being Easter week I suspect it will be quiet so going to enjoy it rather than be inside constantly looking for roles.
