Good evening all ! Weird font ??!

    PK - pneumonia ??

Frith - I think your sons may be doing what is technically known as "peeing in the corners" re your OH ;)

VJsmum - your household sounds cool - loving the IOU vouchers for Mothers day . But anyone who writes "Yum" in pastry letters on top of a pie is fab anyway.

    5 for today

    1. Finished at 2pm as still owed some annual leave

    2. OH and I passed each other - me on my way to work, him on his way back from Egypt in a cab on the same road at 7.15 am

    3. OK ish day at work. I am doing a lot out of the office so the week should fly by.

    4. Macaroni cheese for tea :)

5.Looking forward to sharing my big bed again (Not)

Have a good evening all !

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

    1) A lovely sunny day - it was a shame I had to spend pretty much the whole of it in an office, but at least it looked nice out of the window.

    2) Had a lovely chat with the manager of the pizza place about Saturday's fiasco, and she's going to refund the whole cost as an apology. :T

    3) My first two tomato seeds have germinated - only another 50 or so go!

    4) A nice cuddle with mog when I got home (nice until he spoilt things by biting a hole in my hand, anyway ).

    5) Bacon and mushrooms in white wine and tarragon sauce for dinner - it always sounds very posh but only takes about 20 minutes to cook.

PK - I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Hugs to you.

    VJsmum - I wouldn't mind a birthday cake like that, either! :)
Back after a very long break!

:o:o:o:o - aww shucks - thanks!! I think we might be a topic of conversation for our friends cos we can be a bit crackers at times (we had a gas bottle from the caravan in our lounge for 3 months, some secaturs on the mantlepiece for a few weeks and currently have a snow globe on the mantle piece which contains a picture of OH's sister's backside - he won't let me chuck it :rotfl:)

Can't believe you remembered about the pie - I lost my letter B because of that (I had written "Beef pie - yum yum" in pastry cut outs!) Mother in Law's birthday cake originally said "Happy Rirthday" till I doctored it! :rotfl:

    So today's delights

    1. OH worked from home this morning which, if nothing else, meant I had to look like I do something when he isn't here. Consequently - I did something!
    2. One of the things I did was to build a bird table. I found it in the conservatory, still in its box after about 4 years. So instead of being in a box in the corner of the conservatory in bits, it is now in the middle of the conservatory erected (ooh err) - don't think the birds will get well fed in there :D . Give me another year or two and it'll make it outside!
    3. Did 4 loads of washing - all line dried (or will be)
    4. Managed to do about half an hour muck spreading on the veg patch. Slowly slowly catchee monkey.
    5. Some whoopsied strawberries in Mr M have been turned into jam, tho I think it was cooked too long and may be like concrete in the jar.

Got work to do tonight :( Have a good evening all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    1. A spendy day :) Smiling because I've bought tickets for 3 theatre/music events for me and DD (x2) and OH (x 1) over the summer months and am really looking forward to them already

    2. My lovely, lovely builder came and has nearly knocked down all the wall to make my big kitchen/diner, yay, I definitely made the right decision it's going to be fabulous!

    3. Glorious sunshine again

    4. I went for a walk and I'm sore but not horrendously so, walked further than I have since my op and I'm sure the sunshine helped

    5. Naughtily bought myself a YS sandwich in the village shop which I had for lunch whilst sitting out in the sunshine, as my excuse was that I didn't want to go home and disturb the builder

    6. A friend brought DD home from me and came in for a natter

    7. Bumped into a few chums whilst out and about

    8. DD has been given some gardening tips from one of our lovely new neighbours which she has carefully written into her notebook, so cute!

    Hi everyone,

Busy day at work (and am still working and it is just before midnight!!). one of the reasons is that Kitty has had a bit of a turn. He seems to be having a bit of trouble walking at times... it looks as if he is drunk :( So I have shed a few tears and want to keep him company because I think I will have to say goodbye to him tomorrow. He keeps looking at me as if to say "Why are you crying Mum?"

So I need to see if I can find something good about today.

    1) Wakin up to gorgeous sunshine flooding my bedroom

    2) HM banana and walnut bread for morning and afternoon tea

    3) Getting loads of work done. Its all been quite dull stuff but ood to get it done

    4) Took a yummy salad to work

    night

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

Lady hawk, you will know that you have to make the right decision for your cat, which isn't always the easiest decision.such a hard journey to take to the vets :(

1.I came home from work! Work was horrendous today, seriously nearly lost the plot with some co-workers! Glad when day was over & 1.5 hours extra worked.
2.DD2 had a better day at school, she was away at tennis all day and then had show rehearsals. We are sharing her day ! It helps her to talk .
3.I wore my comfy jeans today.
4.Inspired by chickenopolis I am going to make macaroni for tea.
5.Just watched Casualty....I so love the theme tune, makes me happy!
