Millie - Ouch ! You have been in the wars today Naughty oldie , they may have blunt teeth but it bliddy hurts !Make sure Mr. Millie spoils you xx Can you drive ok with it?

it is stiff, but I can drive and I have learned not to ask if it's ok to drive, because they tend to say "no" and I can't not drive, given where we live and where work/ponies are! Mr Millie helped me make choc brownies tonight, his version of spoiling me :D Brownies are for the farrier tomorrow. Think I am having 8yo's shoes off and she will be formally retired- sad times :(
And nooo, you are not a great Aunt. You are 26, just like me!!
And boo the cyclist How rude xx

Ouch Millie, blooming nail, sounds like you need an !kea ice pack.......hope it stops hurting soon x

Hugs CCP, hope tomorrow is a chirpier day, give yourself a big hug x

    1. I really enjoyed the rain today, we need it so much and it was nice to be snug in the house watching it outside

    2. OH woke me up with a massive hug, a real bone-crusher, a lovely way to start the day :)

    3. I cooked DD's favourite pasta bake for dinner, no mean feat given the size and uselessness of my kitchen at the moment!

    4. Great songs at church and lovely chats with good friends.

    5. My cold is much better thank you, just a bit of a cough in the night air etc etc, so when I call the hospital tomorrow, I should get the OK for Tuesday (hmm, is that a pleasure to look forward to an operation?!?)

    6. DD and I went to MrT's and bought lots of sensible things like frozen veg and YS fresh stuff.

    7. DD let me comb through her hair when I washed it tonight - woohoo!!

    8. Used my new vacuum cleaner today, not that impressed with the machine compared to my old Henry but I am impressed with me for doing the cleaning :)

    9. DD and I had great cuddles and silly songs today

    10. Good chat with my folks on the phone

    Right, night all

    2. Had yummy YS potato cakes with fried egg for brekkie
    3. Had left over pizza for lunch
    4. Bought new shoes for DS, his old ones had disintegrated. The MSE part is that they were only £24
    5. Had lovely, lovely steak for tea. Really not MSE but it is a once in a blue moon treat.

    Good morning.

I forgot to post yesterday, maybe because the weekend hadn't been as nice as I'd hoped and we didn't do anything we'd planned.

    1. Another lie-in and a cuddle with DS2 when I woke up
    2. French toast for breakfast.
    3. DS1 (17) out of bed before lunchtime and in an good mood.
    4. Half an hour to myself in my favourite cafe with a cafetiere of good coffee.
    5. A quick trip to costco's - I was starving, but instead of buying a bun in the coffee shop, had an apple and two clementines in the car. They were yummy, so I'll take some to work today.

1.Slightly cooler day, not cold but not very warm! Just nice for me! A wee touch of autumn is in the air, hurrah!
2.Mega busy day at work and the pleasure was coming home!
3.Made mini burgers & buns (from freezer) and left over cupcakes & custard for kids tea.
4.Had a lovely warm shower, got my jammies on AND slipper socks! It is nice to feel cosy rather than over-heated!
5.I'm sitting in my office, watching the birds in the garden!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Evening all, and thanks for all the virtual hugs. :)

    1) A nice sunny day after yesterday's miserable sogginess, but cold enough that I was glad to get into the office (in one respect, anyway ;)).

    2) I was running late this morning and nearly decided to buy something for lunch, but changed my mind and threw together a few bits to make a very tasty lunch.

    3) My manager agreed to let me have Wednesday off work to have my chair collected, which will give me some extra time to spend on trying to knock my essay into some sort of shape.

    4) One of my favourite lazy dinners tonight - refried bean burritos.

    5) I might watch the second episode of a drama series later - or, as the first part gave me nightmares :o - I might read a book instead.

    Have a nice evening, all.
Back after a very long break!

I had a voucher for free delivery from MrT, and as I am still driving a gas guzzler car, and I’m not fond of our local Tesco, I used it to place an order as everything I needed is in the half price offers, and well I’ve bought 2 off to stock up on, or 8 of in the whiskas cat food offer’s case. Bet they mess it up thou, will find out tomorrow morning.

The vet’s went okish, the x-ray showed a vastly enlarged liver, we discussed she could operate but not cure, they could do biopsy but not cure, bloods showed it wasn’t a tumour, and x-rays and examination felt like smooth surface on it, or we can treat as we would, she gave him a shot of antibiotics that will last a fortnight, and a shot of vitamins for the liver, she is also ordering us some other liver treatment powder, which will hopefully keep him comfortable.

WFH day this is my last week there. But there was definitely spend and petrol due to the vets, in real terms today’s pay went straight to the vets
We are still using freezer goodies picked up in the Christmas RTC clearance luck, we’ve not had to by meat for a few months now.
Remembered to post a letter that’s been sitting in the car for a few days. Ahem
Carried on tidying a bit, or should that be moving stuff about to different places so it looks different!
Tea is planned to be Jacket spuds, 10p Quiche between us and some 10p deli ham.

I’ve lost steam already, I feel like I should be doing “things” but well I just haven’t.
