    Good evening all !

millie - OH made me a bowl of prawn crackers which was waiting for me when I got in from work. He had cleaned out the hens poo trays, put the bins out before 6am and is making supper tonight. He won't have enough energy to do your chores , I fear :D However your chocolate baking fest might just swing it ..Brownies for the farrier ! Cor how things have changed ( to sweeten him up for oldie I expect) mine was lucky if he got the dregs from my flask.

mhagster -glad to hear that you have settled right in . Your posts do reflect this xx

    5 for today

    1. Ok ish day at work . My line manager is off sick and will be for a few weeks . This was predicted ...;) 'nuff said.

2.Lots of nice comments at work today ( 3 from women and 1 from a bloke) as I wore a sort of pinafore dress in to work. £8 or £10 in Primarni . I normally wear pin striped trousers and people forget that I have legs, including me:D

3.Managed not to ladder my tights before 9am - is this just me ??

    4. OH is cooking my supper .

    5. Night in by myself , I am really tired as exercising makes me feel mentally wired but physically spent. I need my bed :)

Have a good evening all !

Today has been irritating and on a shorter fuse than normal things are winding me up, but I know it’s because we are run down with the lergy.
Mended some clothes as the repair items were piling up, had to throw I pair of trousers as they had been rescued too many times now.
The Mr T delivery was okish, I had to phone them up as they charged me full price and all of the items I bought were half price offered bar 2. To be fair when I phoned up they refunded it all immediately, but it does feel like they try it on.
I was supposed to have a phone interview so I prepared printed off bits and got in the right mind set and... tick tock nothing happened no explanation no nothing, feeling annoyed at that too!

1.A lovely lunch of Heinz tomato soup, bought when they were on offer.
    2. Watching little birds going over the hydrangea by the back window removing bugs.
    3. Picked up some ok deals when I popped out to Asda, but a distinct lack of oppsies.
    4. Hospital phoned to say dads been taken home
    5. Caught up with MIL via email.

    Shattered today, but i've survived

    1. DS a bit poorly but could got to school so I didn't have to "organise" him for staying at home
    2. Getting to work early meant I could leave early and got home before my boy
    3. Have cleaned the kitchen? Why a pleasure - well rather than the "lick and promise" it usually gets it has had a full spring clean.
    4. Nice soup for tea, which meant that I had enough weightwatchers points for a slice of banana cake
    5. Early to bed in a mo to catch up on my sleep.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Chickenopolis tights are most definitely not OS! I remember dabbing clear nail varnish to stop ladders
PK good to hear your dad's home. re phone interview

Strange day at work. Everyone's mega stressed. Hope it gets better soon. My five are:
    1) lish chowder for lunch made from frozen fish stock. Having taken on fully OS putting leftovers in freezer realised i also needed to take them out occassionally or i'd run out of room lol. Would normally have tipped fishstock (from cooking salmon) down drain so :T
    2) sent 3 emails that i've not got round to and have been on my conscience :A
    3) found some velcro fixer for poster rather than having to buy some
    4) sent email to colleague saying i probs wont get something done for friday rather than thinking i will, not managing it then stressing
    5) lish spicy sausage stew for supper. Made big batch last night and due to 1 able to put half in freezer, leaving 2portions in fridge for OH while i'm away
Right must pack. Only going to edinburgh for 2days. Didnt manage to book conference dinner in time but they'll let me know if someone pulls out, elsewise early night with my book :-)

Hmmm, if he has time to make prawn crackers, he is clearly bored and you should send him my way!!

Farrier- believe me, the brownies are required!! Oldie took the P big time when she decided she Couldn't Walk after her trim and caused the farrier to get a few more grey hairs. Couldn't walk in the direction of her stable more like, but jogged quite happily towards the Big Field. Odd that!!

    ...;)
    'nuff said.

You poisoned your line manager  :rotfl:Or is that just me

PK - :cuddle: and I love Heinz soup - one of my guilty pleasures- only guilty because I feel I ought to be making it myself, Have you tried the Baxters tomato one though? Even better than Heinz, in my opinion

    Sparrer- are you ok? xx

    Mine for today

    1. Woke up in the night with another flipping pukey migraine. Grr. Not a pleasure, but I called in a favour with colleague and she covered for me today. Nice colleague
    2. Quickie walk in the woods with GSD - she was full of it. I wasn't, but it was good to see her like that
    3. Felt a bit better this afternoon, so headed off to drop Mr Ponycarer's birthday pressie/cake off and see the girls
    4. Half an hour with the girls, with nobody else around. Gave them both a groom/furminate and left the fluff outside for the birds' nestbuilding. Reluctant (on her part) cuddle with oldie, big cuddles with 8yo because she is like a huge fussy dog :D
    5. Migraine has been downgraded to a headache and I am currently cuddled up with OH and the bunnies (GSD has de-camped to the parental quarters as they are now back (it's a novelty)). Trying to forget that I have therapy in the morning....lalalala *fingers in ears*

Hugs to anyone in need xx :A

    Evening,

    Hope you are all well.

Another long day in the office. Where is the time going???

    1) Half year review... The boss is delighted with me! Yeeha! I have had a much better attititude this year and I am glad he has noticed.

    2) Took my car to the garage to get the fuel sensor fixed.(Not a pleasure). My lovely colleague A picked me up from the garage and took me to work and my lovely colleague J lent me his company car this evening.

    3) Remembered to put my washing on to run when I was at work

    4) Spoke to two old colleague/ friends about a work issue - nice to catch up with them. One of them is my kitty's old mum so he's getting extra cuddles tonight on her behalf.

    5) Annoyingly loud colleague was not in the office today!

    Nighty night

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

Thankyou. I don't get them that often, but tend to get them in clusters when I have lots on my mind, like now! I can quite often just carry on with them, but sometimes (like early this morning) I can't move far without being sick, which makes it all a bit impossible!!

Thank goodness it's going now :D xx

5 or so for yesterday (Tuesday)

    1) Waking up with OH. :-)

    2) Went to see my friend who had an operation last week. She is doing well.

    3) Popped into the food shop at Ikea.

    4) Dad went home from hospital! So popped in to see him. No talking to him though - he was getting his fix of Midsomer Murders!

    5) OH here. :-)

Still having major problems with smaller son's school. He has SEN but they don't seem to take them into account enough for my liking. He has a behaviour book that is supposed to come home each day but (again) I haven't seen it since the Monday before last. Yesterday, they had to line up outside school after break and he ran to join the line. (He was too slow getting his jumper off a tree last week and got locked out). So he got shouted at for running to the end of the line.... They made him line up again - and he ran from the teacher to the back of the line again! So he ended up getting made to sit on the bench in the corridor for ages. He also got told off for telling a teacher he is unhappy at school and wants to leave and go to a new school. Hmmmm....
