5 or so for yesterday (Tuesday)
1) Waking up with OH. :-)
2) Went to see my friend who had an operation last week. She is doing well.
3) Popped into the food shop at Ikea.
4) Dad went home from hospital! So popped in to see him. No talking to him though - he was getting his fix of Midsomer Murders!
5) OH here. :-)
Still having major problems with smaller son's school. He has SEN but they don't seem to take them into account enough for my liking. He has a behaviour book that is supposed to come home each day but (again) I haven't seen it since the Monday before last. Yesterday, they had to line up outside school after break and he ran to join the line. (He was too slow getting his jumper off a tree last week and got locked out). So he got shouted at for running to the end of the line.... They made him line up again - and he ran from the teacher to the back of the line again! So he ended up getting made to sit on the bench in the corridor for ages. He also got told off for telling a teacher he is unhappy at school and wants to leave and go to a new school. Hmmmm....Has anyone seen my last marble:A:A:A:A

Good afternoon all !
frith - I am unclear why the school are taking this approach with your son . He is not doing anything wrong , and he appears to be being excluded by other peoples perception/interpretation of his behaviour
Hello Lally
5 for today
1. Busy day at work , which makes the time fly.
2. Out of the office on a site visit for half of the day , I have not been to this site since June last year and the positive changes that the company have made was lovely see. They were in a "dark " place last year .The manager actually shakes when she sees me thoughNo need to, she is doing a remarkable job and I do tell her this , often.
3. Finished the visit and was able to take my 1/2 hour lunch at 3.30pm - I finish at 4pm
4. Over to my Mum's for tea, she is making a steak pie . Yum . I moan that she cooks frozen roast potatoes rather than doing them herself so she is doing them mashed to spite me
5. Need an early night , really tired this week . I do love my bed though:)
Have a good evening all !:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A0 -
hello
1 lovely sunny day
2 we've passed panel to offer foster care cover to foster carers so they can do training and go on holiday. ( taken a long time to get through so we are very relieved and happy)
3 to celebrate the above we spent £30 on approved foods
4 been to see the muppets today with 241 and before 1pm so much cheaper
5 spent the evening making batches of laundry soap, deodrant, sugar scrub and washing up liquid.

Having a big of a can't be bothered day so I thought I would pop back on here and focus on the positive
1. Was productive and washed up/tidied up before going out to work so it was nice and clean when I got back.
2. Work pants feel a bit looser, which is nice to feel and confirms the 2.5lbs I lost at Slimming World last night.
3. Mum & Dad came round for a cuppa when I got back, helped me figure out my first ever gas & electric bill which was a great help.
4. Sun shining longer perks me up, 5.30pm and the sun is just going down.
5. Defrosted leftovers slow cooker veggie chilli for tea and am going to have it with boiled rice, and actuary chips with homemade cheesy garlic bread - yummy and Slimming World friendly
Hope everyone has had a great week, only two days left until the weekend!0 -

Evening all.
I've been feeling rather off colour today, although I don't deserve any sympathy as the fault is entirely my own: I went out with friends last night so soon after getting home from work that I only had time to eat a cheese sandwich rather than a proper dinner. I then, very foolishly, accepted the invitation to stay for 'just one more' at the end of the evening, with predictable results on a near-empty stomach. On the plus side, I got to have a lovely long cuddle with the pub dog, who decided I was just what he needed when he was feeling unwell.
I'm not sure my poor boots will ever recover from being so thoroughly bathed in labrador dribble, though...
1) No work today so I could have a bit of a lie-in until the worst of my headache subsided.
2) The courier company turned up nice and promptly to collect my chair, and the nice man came inside to get the box rather than asking me to carry it out to him. :T
3) Popped up to the shops to buy some lunch and got home less than 30 seconds before it started pouring with rain.
4) Finished off and submitted my essay. :j
5) Fajitas for dinner - I love just about anything if it's wrapped up in a tortilla.
lally - welcome to the thread, and I hope you recover quickly from your tooth.Back after a very long break!0
