2) Baked some cupcakes for a colleagues birthday tomorrow.
3) Gorgeous sunshine today. Not that I left the flat
4) Lovely afternoon snooze.
5) Think I may have sorted out finance for the new house. I just hope they are willing to negotiate!
Night
LMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -

1. did not sleep well but woke up to lovely sunrise and sat in living room having an early cup of tea with sun streaming in

5. DS has cleared his bedroom !!!!!!!!!! in anticipation of virginmedia installation tomorrow. Found a damp mould patch on wall under window where his headboard usually goes
Wiped off but must be water getting in...will have to consult the oracle (DDad)..but apart from that have not seen room look so tidy and clean for ages (typical teenage boy room)

Just remembered another funny one:
DD and I ventured into her room to start the tidying and packing and we can now see the floor! The funniest bit was when she disappeared under her bed and started shoving things out, popping in and out with her hair gathering fluff and dust like a big feather duster!! - oh my goodness, it was neverending, the things we rediscovered were amazing. Shame the room now looks worse than it did before, oh well.....it's joining in with the rest of the house
Oooh Ladyhawk, will keep my fingers crossed that the negotiations go well for the new place, hope its really fab x0 -
Kittikins, thanks for the get wells. Everyone has gone into meltdown tonight and I'm hoping that lots of it is just about people not feeling well. I haven't had such a grotty end to the day in absolutely ages.:(
Millie, that's such sad news about the coach crash. I didn't realise you were from near there.
VJsmum Thank you for the heads-up about Upstairs Downstairs. I only watch stuff on iplayer and forget to look to see what's going on so may well have missed this otherwise.
My five for Sunday, despite meltdown:
1. The thread I started on Brownies has generated lots of lovely reminiscences. I've been enjoying it.:)
2. An NSD and NPD.
3. The happy time I spent talking with DS1 first thing this morning.
4. Getting a good food/vegbox order sorted for this week.
5. I really, really could do with a cuddle so I'm going to make myself a hottie and snuggle under a fleece with a mug of hot chocolate and watch midwives on iplayer.
Sweet dreams

Ying and Yang when they were babies. Note they're both white, not B & W as are Yin and Yang, but he (Yang) is often black from sleeping unter my car engine when it's warm! I also call her Ying, every time I said Yin it reminded me of Billy Connolly

now I really am going to bed, will have to work out a quicker way of doing this another day

Morning
Broomstick - Hugs to you, hope you have a better day today and the DS's are feeling better.
Pleasures for the last couple of days,
1. Day out at Westfield with OH and DD. Nice mouch around the shops and a lunch at Yo Sushi at DD request. Sorry I am just not a sushi person but she loved it.
2. Took some bits back that I had bought for walking back to the shop as decided I didn't really need them so bit more money back in the pot.
3. Strange day out with DD on Saturday. She needs to take some photos of people in different places for her GSCE so we went over to the airport so she could take some pics. We did have a laugh and managed to get some tasty food that didn't cost the earth.
4. Out yesterday for first training walk in preparation for the Moon Walk. We walked at a fairly slow pace but did 8.5miles which was further than we intended but felt fine afterwards. Friend P was walking a little strangely as she got into the car though :rotfl:
5. Cup of tea and Sausage sandwich after walk, sat in the sunshine overlooking the lake at Virginia Water. Bliss
6. Lovely hot bath when I got in followed by a cup of tea made by DD.
7. Mad hour in the kitchen. Cooked some YS chicken and bacon for OH sandwiches this week, made big pan of soup to take to work today, pie for dinner and some jam tarts.
Hugs to all who need them.0 -
sparrer - I love Yin and Yang, they're soooo pretty
Really need to think seriously about getting us a cat in a few weeks' time.......

Hugs to all those that need them.
I didn't manage to post yesterday so here are mine for the past couple of days.
1. Watching last weeks top gear with DS2 which he had recorded. I laughed so much over the clip with the car chase which Richard Hammond was editing.
2. Took DS2 to A&E but only muscular damage - thankfully and 2 weeks off sport (if he pays attention to this). Also we were in seen, x-rayed and out within the hour.
3. Went to rugby on saturday - Quins won great- and was MS as DS1&2 and DH all get discount.
4. DS1 coming home for weekend.
5. Cleaned my cupboards out in kitchen and managed to throw some stuff out.
6. Watching the last Harry Potter film on dvd
7. Daffodils on offer so couldn't resist buying a bunch - atiny bit of spring and look lovely with the tulips I was given.
8. Tea of roast and chocolate fondue - which I found in back of cupboard - lovely with all family sitting and having a meal together and lots of laughter.0 -
Feeling rubbish here, less than 2 hours sleep. :-( Not quite sure about anything I do or any decision I make at the moment but never mind.
Here are mine for yesterday (Sunday)
1) Bit of a lie in.
2) Cleaned the bathroom.
3) Neighbour's son5 came round at 8.30am (!) to play with my sons and stayed til 9.30pm! This was great as mine were kept REALLY busy all day (and slept like logs). Not quite so nice was that MrNeighbour never once bothered to find out where son5 was. He even went out in his car after lunch for a few hours, I noticed. Obviously I fed him at the right times.
4) Feeling a lot better now.
5) OH came round. I don't know if that was a pleasure or not. Not quite sure if that is going in the right direction. :-(0
