Mine for today..bit of a sad day locally due to the horrid news about the coach crash involving our local school :(

    4. News that a "certain cat who was in the media a couple of week's back for crashing a football party" (you know the one) is alive and being well cared for by the rescue where my friend works and has no shortage of potential homes - he is such a cutie, apparently!

Wow, so sorry Millie about the school - it is such tragic news :(

The little cat - was this the one that wandered onto the pitch during play? I saw that - while everyone was laughing all I could think of was 'that poor kitty - what owner in their right mind would do that?' My little cats would be beside themselves with bewilderment if it was them. So what happened - did it get taken away from the owner?

    Kittikins - brilliant news!! :)

Hugs to those who are feelgin poorly and under the weather. I am wracked with severe monthly pain :(

    Mine from yesterday:

    1. Went for lovely run and found some woods near me that I'd never been in before. Full of paths - really will have to explore there more.

    2. Did grocery shopping. Had good banter with old man in Lidl who was raving about the pensets and the easel bargain he got the other week (he paints). He told me also how great peanut butter and bacon tastes together. I don't eat meat but thought I'd pass the tip on to those who do!

    3. Picked up 50 free prints I ordered from Tesco photo site, just for registering. I was absolutely delighted - I can now frame loads of them and send to family (lots of family shots)

    4. OH made gorgeous harissa chickpea and haloumi cheese recipe again. It really is delicious.

    5. My ebay items ended. I sold most of them - some for more than I expected, and made £150! Most people paid immediately too :)

kittikins - thats great news - delighted for you
  • Good evening all !

I fell asleep very early last night so here are my 5 over the last two days , but first ...

Kittikins -woo hoo ! excellent news

Millie- I am sorry to hear about the coach crash - horrific

Frith - sorry to hear your last sentence ..

sparrer - All is well with the world when I know that you are in your garden x lovely pictures btw

OT - are you ok?? x

CCP - my ex won an ongoing quiz on our local radio station , which went on forever . Any quiz on tv, radio etc he would just reel off all the answers. Shame he was such a carp ****:rotfl::rotfl:JUST KIDDING ;)

    Sunday

    1. Got two lots of washing dried on the line

    2. Invited a friend over for a roast dinner who could not make it , but brought us round a bag of frozen peas anyway

    3. A lovely belly bursting roast

    4. Laughing with my Mum as my back was being well... a pain , so I did the physio exercises I was given. One involves lying on your back with knees bent and you lift your pelvis off the floor etc. Well just as I was doing this on the lounge floor (freshly hoovered I might add) , Fiona Bruce on the Antiques Roadshow. said "Wow what a lovely view" - I said "thank you " and my Mum nearly fell off of the sofa laughing:rotfl:

    5. Fell asleep just as "call the midwife started " but hey, I can see it on iplayer during my week off :):)

6 My friend brought her hens over to stay with me for two weeks whilst she goes on holiday . They remembered where their coop was and toddled in to bed straight away.

    5 for today

    1. OH went for interview no. 3 and got the job :T

    2. Guest hens a bit raucous this morning, a few fisticuffs with mine for a bit , then went in to lay 2 eggs . Their owner said that they are not laying very well . They clearly are now.

    3. Used up left over breast meat from the roast in the slow cooker with a tin of mushroom soup . I hate next day food, it just tastes odd to me, but I cooked it for hours and it tasted ok.Also prepared too much veg yesterday so did not have to chop and peel today.

    4. More washing dried on the line .

    5. Superscrimpers is on soon !!

Have a good evening all !
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A
