Thanks Dusty! Hopefully I won't have to do it again for a while!
I've had one trick or treater so far... and I managed to find some chocolate for him, but I'm not sure I'll cope if there are many more! Maybe I should turn the lights out and pretend I'm not here
Hope DS2 recovers quickly.0 -

Start without them!
I've repacked my present drawer and found some more stuff in case of trick-or-treat emergencies.
I was given a free watch for buying a handbag... so if anyone is in need of a girls watch (it's got sparkly stones round the face, with a sparkly heart charm and a pink fake-alligator strap), let me know. It might fit an adult with a smallish wrist (it just about fits me), but it's very girly! Might be handy as an extra Christmas present for someone...
Washing up is done too. When the laptop battery is fully charged I think I might watch a DVD, have supper and give myself a pedicure.0 -
Hi, just found this in Dunelm mill....(£9.99..compared to £19.99 at Lakeland)...does anyone have one and do they find it usefull?0 -
Tootchoosey - don't get it. Everytime something needs to go upstairs run it up and put it away, better for your weight loss, general health and your pocket! That basket will just be another place to harbour stuff to sort out!
DH dispatched with DS3. DS1 has gone with them and the other little girls have their Dad's with them which is great.
Peroni on the go for me and I'm cooking cheesey jackets for when they return. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Seems to be a popular place - maybe we need a meet there sometime soon
I was at Gunwharf yesterday afternoon with OH too - didn't see you there, but then I expect you were inside the cinema! It was packed yesterday.
Just had a really nice chat and tea with LadyL and her hubby. Thank you to you both. Feel guilty cos I talked about myself and school so much, but LadyL and her hubby have a little inside knowledge about my school too. Hope it won't be so long in between visits next time. We'll have to set a possible date to aim to meet up on that we can look forward to at a weekend and next time I will try not to talk quite so much about me!
I'm determined to have a bit of me time tomorrow cos OH is out at his shooting club - I never did paint my nails the other week as I ran out of time, so that is my aim. Maybe I should see if I can find some huge fake talon nails and paint them with orange nail varnish in honour of halloween LadyL!
Well done with the clothes shopping greenbee, although having worked in Jaeger I can see why you managed to spend so much money! Still, at least you know that it's good quality too.
I managed to get rid of all of the bananas on freecycle this morning, bar one which has been binned as it was too far gone! Everyone went away with the recipes too, so I hope they liked them!:T
Next time I get bananas from neighbour I will definitely use Dusty's tip of freezing them before they get too ripe.
Off to find some dinner now as I'm starving! Garlic kievs (veggie ones for me, chicken for OH) to scare any vampires away with wedges and peas.
Hugs to all who would like one.

you're right Dusty....just bored now and looking for SOMETHING to buy....should go S+S the kitchen really..............0

Sexy - you need to freeze them once they are ripe but you can only then use them in baking - the skins will go black but the insides will be syrupy like baked bananas.
