    morning everyone

I fell asleep with the tv on last night so got woken up to Vernon Kay on Dave this morning:eek::eek:
How wonderful to be woken up by Vernon Kay :D - actually those teeth are a bit like his teeth :rotfl:

eta rosepink have you tried bach rescue remedy? And do you know how to do the breathing exercises?
Yes, I take it every where with me! Brilliant stuff! I normally calm down quite quickly when I've taken it, I'm trying to remember to take it sooner as I generally only remember once I'm in the middle of an attack. I've never been taught any breathing exercises, altho I try to breath deeply from my tummy. If you have any exercises, please let me know, I would be so grateful!

Not sure how much flying I'll be doing today - I was up very late waiting for my new foster son to come home. He's been here only 3 nights and for two of those he's stayed out all night without letting me know where he is. I've had to report him as a missing person as he is only 16 so have had the police round (probably curtain twitching by the neighbours too!). I think I'm in for a rocky ride with this one ....
Hugs sweetie, I know how stressful it can be. I've got a friend who is a foster mum and one lad that was staying at her place went missing for five days, it was a nightmare. He was ok in the end, it turned out he'd gone to stay with a mate, but of course my friend didn't know that and had all sorts of worries about what might be happening to him. Some of these kids are so mixed up and have been treated so badly, it's heartbreaking.

Well, we massively overslept today, but it did us both good. DH has been exhausted lately so he needed a lie in. He's just gone out with his friend for "a wander in the woods." They like to go for these walks and have a good old chat!

Hopefully, if DH isn't back too late, we will be going to dinner at a friend's house tonight. I might go on my own if DH is back late, not sure how brave I feel yet! They are really nice people so it should be ok. I've got to stop taking the easy option (staying at home) and get out there!

I've washed up and done laundry - today that involves swapping items over on the heated towel rail, that seems to be the only way to get things dry at the mo. Weather's not hot enough to dry th washing and it's not cold enough to put th heating on

Oh yes. You will need a strong grip and even stronger muscles! But the end result is lots of fun!

ahh, thought so, it's been a couple of years, and what I remember most is how much the children loved carving them..... but I had a dim memory nagging away that it's hard work.

    Anyone got any tips?

Rose - life is about living and not about flying - we fly to make space for living! You have come so far. Next lesson is learning that you can recover the situation. I used to get down when all my hard work disappeared but I know now that if I follow the lists for a week I'll be back on track and you will be too. Celebrate the fact that you've been out and about and enjoyed it!
You are absolutely right Dusty, thanks for that timely reminder. This week has been successful on the whole, and it's been a good one. It does frustrate me coming home to a messy place tho, I think I need to get a balance between going out and doing stuff and flying.

    Good afternoon everyone!

Got up early at 6.30am and got ready and went to York for this morning to get some bits and pieces for my HM pressies this year from Lakeland. Lovely morning in the sun once the mist cleared. Also bought a pressie from Molton Brown using the £10 voucher in Red so only cost £2 (or £5 is count the cost of the mag). Got the last bits for the X**s E** hampers I am making so they just need putting together now. Almost set for X**s now so can look forward to a less stressful time starting from tomorrow until the countdown begins!

This afternoon plan is cup of tea, WM x1, have a go at some HM gifts eg flavoured oils/vinegars and update my list of things to make and anythings left to buy.

House is nice a clean from flying this week and I feel more positive now compared to last night and this morning when I fought the tears back. The autumn sunshine cheered me up.

All who are having a Halloween Party - have fun, I'd better find my spare sweets out ready for any trick or treaters later on!

Well done Fedup (change your name!!!), you have done so well! I'm really proud of you for going out and doing your shopping - never easy when you are feeling low - and I'm so glad you are feeling more positive. Being out in the sunshine really helps

    Hello all

Dad and his gf dispatched to the station, couple of lunch bits picked up in town, then came home and made yummy minestrone soup for lunch, which we had with ryvitas, soft cheese and hummus.

I've washed up, S&S'd the kitchen and I need to hoover and dust round later. Bedroom will be done tomorrow. But DH is doing some study, so until he's finished and we head out I am putting my feet up and watching the final 'Emma' from the sky+ box.

Then we're nipping out for coffee and to spend our M&S loyalty vouchers on wine, and I'll need to do some shopping as we've DH's parents coming for a roast tomorrow (handy then that I have my large £3 M&S yellow stickered chicken in the freezer!

kazw - i have chillis on my kitchen windowsill but they need to turn red yet!

fedup - you must've read my mind, I was thinking only this lunchtime when I was washing up that I should try doing some home made oils with herbs etc for Christmas prezzies this year. I wondered if Lakeland had nice bottles etc. I was thinking some oil with rosemary, peppercorns and maybe my home grown chillis! Perhaps I will go all out and also do some other things and make little hampers.

Hope everyone is ok, cant remember who posted about "Gunwharf", I'm jealous I love it, especially in the summer when you can sit outside to eat in La T****a, watching the boats go by.

I was there yesterday for the cinema (but then it is only about 2 miles away!) :D

Seems to be a popular place - maybe we need a meet there sometime soon

Must rush - off to football

    Hugs to all xx
