Good morning all!

I couldn't post an update and today's list last night, because my internet connection was playing up, so here it is now:

Red = done (aimed for L1 in all rooms + own extras)

Monday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
Level One
DONE – for the 3rd time this week
Tuesday ~ master bedroom/study area and landing
Level One
DONE – but had to hoover around the clutter
Cleaned mirror
Wednesday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
Level One
Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
Find and wipe the worksurfaces
Thursday ~ Childrens pits (x2)
Level One
Strip, wash and replace bedding
Declutter and vacuum the floor
Friday ~ Bathroom
Level One
Declutter, sweep and mop floor
clean bath, sink, toilet
Cleaned mirrors
Friday’s extras:
WM x 3
DW x1 – run, emptied and fresh dirty dishes in, will run again overnight
Listen to DS2 read/writing practice
Cook tea and clear up
Go through meat in fridge and draft meal plan
Batch cook 2 diet meals and 2 soups – in progress
Finish planning Halloween outfits and check make-up/accessories supplies
Burn some old papers (DS1 in charge, I hope)
Check if new software has sorted DS1’s mobile phone
Set up new calendar and diary – in progress
Autoglass – windscreen repaired!
Visit nursery

What’s left for the weekend:

Wednesday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom

school work – start with a list of urgent jobs
Listen to DS2 read/writing practice
Get broken house phone sorted
Make pumpkin lantern
Go to Polar for missing trim
Decide on car tyre deals

OK, the priority for this morning is school stuff, then I'll need to go out after lunch. Flying probably at tea time (if I'm not out tonight) or tomorrow 10-12. Thanks, toots, for the life-coaching!!!

I've just done my 'to do' list for work and identified priorities. Breakfast, then start. I can do this!

Morning all

Yet again I'm up and about too early. I felt like I was sleeping next to one of those ventilator machines DH was breathing so loud so i decided I may as well get up and leave him to it!

It's my dad's birthday today and they are heading home - we're going to see them off at the station at 10.30am. I need to get him a card first, I've been a bit slack. I did order him a present on amazon yesterday (wanted him to choose one) and we took them out for a lovely Chinese meal last night.

Plan for today is to see them off, do some food shopping, some flying and some relaxing! I'm trying to work out whether I'll get more for my money on a smallish shop at Waitrose (I have a £5 off £30 spend voucher) or in Sainsburys.

Happy Halloween

Lots to do today, got to make a cake :eek: with littley, carve the pumpkin, did the decs last night so they're done, party at mine this avo so putting a corned beef hash in the SC for when we've been trick or treating, MIL and SIL are bringing some party food too, need to hoover, do WM, load the DW, rest of dailies. Loads!

Another cuppa first though.

Morning all and it is a lovely one here, clear sky, sun shining.

I am off in the shower then going to work to meet the head for a few hours work, then out for a takeaway with my in laws who live next door, then home to watch stargate and sanctuary which are currently downloading. The house looks better after yesterday's efforts just the study left to tidy some time today!!

Forgot what I was gonna post now......oh yeah! Sky movies! supposed to be free this w/e but I don't seem to have them, am I doing something wrong, the telephone line thing isn't in and hasn't been for 4 yrs, do you think that's what could be wrong?

Decluttering a cup of coffee, tied some more balloons (littley's gone mad) set the WM away and let the cat out, who, incidentally has her own halloween costume (blame DD1 :rolleyes: ) it's a white ghost that says BOO on the back :rotfl:she was hilarious last night, arched back and sticky up fur when she spotted the witch sitting in the corner then she run away :rotfl:

Morning all

Was just settling down to make a couple of phone calls after posting on here of Toots return only to find I had nothing, no dial tone or any other tone. Had lost internet connection as well. Was all very bizarre, did all the usual testing of sockets and different handsets (once Dad had managed to find an old hard wired handset and bring it round) and still nothing. Dad reported it online when he got home and then this morning bingo it was working again

Anyway swimming lessons this morning, stonemason straight after and going round to a friends tonight so likely to be a busy dashy about fun kind of day!
