Hi everyone, haven't had time to read many of the last couple of days posts, been at work today and it was manic, I haven't stopped today until about an 1hour ago!
We are out all day both days of the weekend and we need pack lunches, so I've made the lunch for tomorrow packed DS son nappy bag, and toy/book/distraction bag! Got everyones clothes out ready and couple of bits ironed. DH cooked tomorrows dinner as well!(Rare!) Got an early start so need to get to bed.
Hope everyone is ok, cant remember who posted about "Gunwharf", I'm jealous I love it, especially in the summer when you can sit outside to eat in La T****a, watching the boats go by.
Anyway this is my week so far, probably wont get much more done as we are going to Kent sunday evening as we are visiting some friends who are going back to New Zealand for the next year or so.

Hi all - hope you're enjoying your Friday evening! I've not been around much this week, but I have done a bit of flying. Will update my list in a bit.
I've not got home until 9pm for the last two night... yesterday I went to pilates and then to Boots after work to take advantage of their C*****mas shopping evening - got 9 presents within budget (actually cheaper) and nearly £30 of reward points! Today we went to Ikea and Mr Ts after work. I'm so tired, but we got lots of stuff we needed at Ikea. We've got a new rug for the living room. Our old one is white and with two mucky cats it stayed white for about an hour. So the new one is dark grey...it won't show the dirt so much (and hoovering is my least favourite household task). We also got some new cupboards and shelves to finish our study, so it'll be flatpackarama here tomorrow. We're also getting a washer/dryer delivered tomorrow - I'm stupidly excited about it as we won't have to have wet clothes in the flat all the time, completely taking up the study.
Anyway, sorry for rambling! Will catch up in a bit with my list. I'm really feeling like the flat is much more in control, even if the rest of my life is still manic! Thanks all!

Rather grey here - I'm leaving for London in half an hour. Worryingly, there's no sign of OH and he's supposed to be taking me to the station - I don't like leaving my car there unless I have to - and it costs a fortune!
I've not done as much as I intended over half term, but just about kept on top of the list things - yesterday was the first day that I felt that I was over this cold! I've told the teens to do a HHC each, and also clear the hotspots of their belongings - I'm fed up of playing 'Relocation, Relocation' every time I want to clean.:p:rolleyes:
Hugs to Toots and Lady-Liberty.
Have a lovely day everyone! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Morning everyone!
Had a long but nice day yesterday. After waiting ages for a freecycle and freegle message to be approved and posted so that I could declutter some of these bananas I have, I decided to give up and go out to Portsmouth with OH. We did some shopping and had lunch at Pizza Hut because of their buffet and happy hour deals. We were out quite late cos the roadworks on the motorway were causing terrible queues, so just had enough time to watch the end of Home & Away, feed the cat, and have a cup of tea before heading to M&D's for dinner. I took the last of my key lime pie around to use up, and my Mum liked it.Got home and checked emails, and had 4 people interested in the bananas. One man is coming over in about 20 minutes to take 12 of them. I'd better get out in the garage and check that none of them have gone off overnight. I would have frozen them as Dusty suggested, but didn't have room in the freezer.
Plan for today once the freecyclers etc have collected, is to do the food shop, last of the school work on my list, and then have some me time for the rest of the weekend. Monday is going to be a very busy day, as lots of photocopying to do straight before school and I'm on playground duty at break time. Ooh, that reminds me, I must email the literacy plans to our colleague or get other colleague to do so.
Catch up later,
