Thanks for your support Greenbee. I tend to put anything before my own exercise, even doing the ironing is an excuse, I must put my health first.

Off to bed now... pleased that I've done enough today to get things pretty much back under control. If I can keep the study tidy, then my hotspots are just the kitchen table & utility room. The bedroom could do with dusting next week, but the focus there is going to be on sorting out clothes. Spare room is OK, and will be used for packing during the week.

Toots/soappie - don't stay up too late. I'm sure Penny can be persuaded to sort things out in the morning ;)

Night all... see you tomorrow :D

    Good evening all,

I thought I'd update my list on the old thread, before starting fresh tomorrow.

    Red = done

Today’s absolute essentials – in no particular order:

Put away ALL clean clothes – well, the mountain is now a mole hill and DH and DS1 will have to put their own stuff away, but it’s sorted and in the right place
(WM x 2) - last night’s dry and sorted, this morning’s on airer, Towels to go in after DS1’s shower
    DW x1
    Listen to DS2 read/writing practice
    Cook tea and clear up
(Cook diet lunch and tea for me) – lunch cancelled, eating DS2’s left over breakfast sarnie instead; tea was left over pasta bake from yesterday
(DS2’s ‘special book’ – write about festival) – must ask DS2’s teacher where his special book is, as I can’t find it in his book bag
Visit friend, unsuccessfully tried to declutter a rocking horse and bucket of building bricks (she’s a grandmother-to-be of twins), but she’s decorating and won’t have space for a bit
Write report for SMT – must get most of this done before bedtime!!!
Mark books for Monday’s classes - postponed
    Plan for 9FL2 - postponed
    Find/iron clothes for tomorrow
    Pack DS2’s school stuff
    Sort dinner money for boys
Pack my school stuff – before bed
Write list for tomorrow (incl dailies in diary) and add extras for the week
    S&S bathroom
    Tidy and hoover living room
Done quick inventory of freezer and typed up list, because it is filling up fast and I want to make sure that stuff gets used up

I'm pleased that I got most things done, but also annoyed that I left stuff for work until the last minute again. However, I've worked out a plan to avoid this in future.

I've still got a couple of things left to do before bedtime. Some of them aren't on the list, because I've got a new set of dailies, which are too long to post on the thread every day. I've got them in my diary to keep them handy, though. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'll check for the new thread again, but will then call it a day.

    Good night.

    wrapping christmas pressies? Thrifty

ACTUALLY........... we were driving back from Manchester... it took about 3 hours to get there and 2 hours back and a couple of hours for OH to recover from the drive there!

So.. bed christening is next... and presents need sorting before I can be wrapping...

    Morning all!

Guess who can't sleep, and the 2 pints of milk in the fridge are off so I can't even overload on caffine.

    DS1 back to school today
    DS2 will be off sick
    DS3 inset day

Lovely friend Jenny coming around this morning. Hope I'm not bad company, I'm really fed up for absolutely no reason whatsoever and need a good slap with a wet kipper.
