  • will have to start again tomorrow...but bro-in-law and his OH have only just left having been up North for the footy this weekend!

We've had great half term! Sadly the ironing hasn't been done but I have relocated all DD2's PE kit! Hooray! I can go to bed with a clean conscience...unlike my dinnig room which looks like a Chinese laundry!

guess what I'll be doing tomorrow?

  • Just a quick Hello to you all. Had a busy weekend so I've not been on here, but I managed to clear all the leaves from the front with DD2 yesterday before work then today we've been for a walk near the Manchester Airport runway. It's a National Trust walk but you get a really close up and clear view of the planes taking off and landing. DD2 loves it and gets really excited every time she sees one which is about ever minute or so!

Sorry to hear you're feeling down Rose...maybe try for a little walk tomorrow. You might feel better with a bit of fresh air.

Well done Jinky on finishing your list.:T:T:T

Better go and get organized for tomorrow. I'll list what I need to do to help me focus then I'll get off and do things so I can get to bed sometime soon.
    • make A's lunch for tomorrow. (already got soup out for DH and I to take)
    • pack A's PE bag
    • pack A's recorder (I'm a bad mum...I forgot to buy the recorder book on Saturday that I'd reserved only the day before)
    • get girls uniforms laid out
    • plan what I'm going to wear tomorrow
Think that's it. Might not get chance to pop on tomorrow as I'm working with SIL in the day then working at M&S in the evening.

    Night night ladies. x

I'm fine thanx Rosepink but the hotspots are building up and I really WANT to sort them....back to school tomorrow so hopefully back into a routine. Don't think the weather will be good enough for a long walk but will try and do some if you're up o it or mabe a couple of 15min challendes?????
Glad you went out, Take care xx
  • Sunnygirl, you are NOT a bad mum, forgetting the book is a shame but not the end o the world. You took your lovely DD on a walk that she loved and was really happy and excited about! Good idea about the walk, I will give it a go, if not tomorrow then Tues

Good night everyone, see you on the new thread. I'm going to set my alarm so I'm up early to start phase 2!

I used to work in a clothes shop and would have prob got a warning if someone had come back in and reported this. As bad as it may make you feel I wouldnt go back in. I would feel guilty for a bit though.
That's what I thought... so I'll feel less guilty about the saving!! I'd hate to be responsible for someone losing their job, and it was a large chain rather than an independent. I'll feel less guilty about the shopping too, seeing as I got a freebie... I spent an obscene amount of money :o

We used to have a flour mill about 5 mins drive away but after the floods a few years ago it closed down. I now have to resort to buying Allisons from Mr T, just not the same.
I don't make bread, but I use Doves Farm or Waitrose organic flour. Doves Farm do lots of different types. I know there are a lot of traditionally milled flours available, so hopefully you'll find something.

    13) go to the gym at least 3 times am ashamed to say i didnt go once:o might cancel my membership
Give yourself a target and a deadline - if you haven't been a certain number of times then cancel. But you need to make sure you keep fit and healthy too.
Sounds well organised, but how big is your CD chest? (Thinks - CDs aren't very big)
It has 10 drawers - they're CD width & height, and about 40 cm deep, so a good way of keeping tights/socks/vests etc organised.

I've had my bath, cleaned it, emptied the TD and put the stuff away (I have about 10 minutes ironing to do this week as a result). I'll empty the DW in the morning to give the stuff a chance to dry (it dries on residual heat). So really I just need to clean my teeth, make my hot water bottle (might finish the kitchen surfaces while I do this) and go to bed. I should get a bit done in the morning, as I'm not going to the gym - I have physio, then have to take the car to have the brakes done. I need to go into the office as I have a call at 2.30 (the UK conference number doesn't have a freefone option ), but have to leave early as I have a group training session with the school tomorrow evening.

I'll update my list before I disappear, even though there is no way I'll get a star!
