Afternoon all,
Our Pumpkin wasn't too hard to carve, i cut the top off, took all the seeds out and scooped out the flesh with a soup spoon. Ds1 carved the face in it. I've made a SC full of soup and toasted the seeds.
We've also iced the cakes, i thought Ds2 would love to help but he got bored after 2 mins so Ds1 did most of it.
I'm going out with OH after we've been Trick or Treating so i'd better sort out Tea, shut up the rabbits and get the washing in before it gets dark.

Oops... haven't got anything in for trick or treaters (although I don't think I usually get any). Do you think I can give them wasabi soyabeans
. Or tell them to come back tomorrow when I've had a chance to cook?

All gone pearshaped here.
DS2 is really unwell so been to OOH surgery as I thought he has a nasty chest infection and extremely high temp - past 103. Poor thing was all floopy and nearly passed out in the stupidly hot surgery. He is on the sofa now but Halloween plans cancelled as my friend is ill too.
Just putting up some decs in the hallway for DS3, he can still go trick and treating - DS1 may well have to take him at this rate. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Not a particularly successful trip out!! St@rbucks was full with a big queue so we decided not to bother. M&S was also full and had none of the wine we wanted, DH was rushing me to decide what else to get and he's so impatient that we just gave up. He came home and I did Mr S which was horrendous, but I only spent £25 and it did the job I guess. Seem to be even more idiots about than usual or perhaps it's cos I'm tired, have PMT I think and feel like crying so my fuse is shorter than usual!
DH put all the shopping away and tidied the fridge, risotto for dinner and then a film for us tonight.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I now have:
Jacket, skirt, dress, top & trousers (Jaeger)... trousers are being shortened, so I need to pick them up next Saturday. The dress in plain black & the rest pinstripe, but it goes together very well and is nice lightweight wool.
Two jersey dresses (one purple, one grey) from phase 8
Black patent platform court shoes
Purple suede backpack
Large black leather handbag
Large purple leather wallet (with lots of compartments for dealing with all the different currencies)
Silver bead necklace
I have spent VAST amounts of money, but as the first bit of clothes shopping went well I thought I'd better keep going while I was on a roll!
and a good idea to keep going while you were in the mood and finding things you liked.0 -

Okay, now I have read the start of the thread-promise! But I still have a few questions.
Firstly is there a new thread each week?
Secondly do you have to sign up each new week? I would love to join in next week (as it is a bit late to do join this weeks)
I am the worlds worst at tidying and reading the start really hit home! I have about 3 hot spots and I can't understand how they keep on getting messy, turn my back for a minute and thats it messy again!0 -

I'm actually quite looking forward to doing it. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed that I don't know where to start and just kind of wander around the house. Sad I know!
At least this way I don't have to feel bad about just doing a bit because it all seems so organised I'm sure it will all get done in the end. I'll keep my eyes open for next weeks thread.0 -
